She hesitated for a moment, torn between the misery of knowing how much work she'd just put into baking that cake - and the fear at the fact it was a giant mechanical dog who'd been the one to take it from her in the first place. What was it with this city? So many strange things seemed to keep happening around her. Maybe she was cursed. Sighing, she hurried out from the shop and sprinted after the dog in question. Firefly had informed her of the truth about Penacony's Watchmaker, but Kafka was still rather surprised to see the boy traveling with the Astral Express. Well, whatever isn't in the script isn't relevant to the final outcome, so Kafka didn't think much of the newest edition--or perhaps oldest?--to the 'Trailblaze family'.

"Misha, right?" the woman drawled as she looked down at the child. The rest of the Astral Express didn't know she was here, back on the Luofu. Stelle knew, of course... But she was a special case. Kafka's duty right now had nothing to do with the Trailblazers, so she made herself scarce for the most part...but part of her was curious about this new member.

Or maybe she was just bored right now and searching for some entertainment.
