A reasonable request, but one that he wasn't too sure on just how to prove it. If he were in Misha's shoes, he'd be just as doubtful, especially when they'd both been through so much in the past. He could barely move. No matter how much he tried to force his tired and broken body to just simply move, nothing was listening to him. In the distance, he could somewhat make out the sound of Jeanne and Noe fighting something, something that he should be helping them with, and yet all he could do was lay there in the snow, watching as more of the white was dyed steadily red, a shuddering breath let out as the cold started to settle in. At least he'd managed to protect Misha...that was all that really mattered right...though he did wish that his brother would stop looking at him with such fear in his eyes. This was hardly the worst state Vanitas had found himself in...he'd survive...he had to. But even now, it was getting harder and harder to keep his eyes open, his usual bright eyes already seeming to have dulled into a misty sort of grey.

Charlotte taps her chin in thought, tilting her head a bit. It wouldn't be too hard for her to escort him home and get back to the cafe without losing much time. Still, she wanted to make sure he was okay with her offering it since she was a stranger to him.

Deciding to be cautious was the best approach, and so she settled to lead into the offer after one or two questions. All this would depend on his answers of course, but she was ready to counter most excuses if she was given any. She was also ready to just safely shadow him if he lived nearby enough with one of her butterflies.

Keep his eyes open. Right. He had to keep them open, he had to keep fighting, no matter how tempting that lull of sleep might currently be, he couldn't allow himself to rest, not until he'd finally finished what he'd set out to achieve, a raspy breath heard as he tries to focus on simply keeping his lungs breathing. The blood is sticky and uncomfortable against his side, yet his mind seems to focus more on the fact he'll need yet another new cloak after this - he should learn and start wearing something a little more functional.

I need to run at full speed - keep to the back streets".

And with that, she'd quickly vanished into the growing blizzard, leaving nothing but a few droplets of blood in her wake.

Her gaze moved down to the dog before right back up to the child, her arms still crossed in front of her chest. The answer from the child was expected. She probably would've said the same in his situation. A frustrated sigh passed her lips as she shook her head. All of this had been nothing but frustrating and slowly but surely time was running out and she wouldn't be able to keep on going like this, at least not as long as she didn't take care of all the things that were trying to ruin it.

" Did your dog do it?" Aurelia asked. If her thoughts would be confirmed, it would at least give her some closure on the situation, in this case. ( At least it weren't these cats trying to destroy her things, again. ) Plus she could ask the child to help with cleaning up as well as doing new ones in return for his dog destroying these decorations.
