     In the aftermath of the Stellaron crisis, Sampo's reputation underground was bolstered by what arguable were good deeds. Yes, inadvertently he set some things in motion, at least from the outsider's perspective. For every mistake that he supposedly made, the Fool had actually planned to somehow get the Astral Express crew to arrive at that point. Despite his sincere aid, he of course, is still Sampo Koski, looking to stir the pot in the less than serious moments. That and, well it was true that when you needed him most, he'd mysteriously be out of reach.

     As for the surface, well. He still had his contacts, his schemes. But being under fire in one setting despite being more or less trustworthy in another was hurting his brand. Was it so bad that he was wanting to return to a sense of normalcy ?  There's an argument to be made that he was just as much of a hero as the rest of them.

     He pointed to himself as if she could've been referring to anyone else in the area.   ❝ Oh, I'm still wanted ?  That's a shame... ❞  He cupped his chin as he studied the officer before him. How young was she anyways ?  She carried herself with confidence yet she wasn't jumping straight into arranging for his arrest...  ❝ I helped out the outsiders, y'know. Worrying came naturally when one was a doctor, she supposed. Whether the younger girl thought it was a big deal or not, at the very least she could treat it for her. Black-tinted fingers reached out to take Pela's hand, gentle as she looked over the wound beneath her torn glove. Those gentle fingers would carefully peel the fabric away so that she could properly gauge the wound. It would be easy, really, if she dealt with it with her magic. But needing to pass for just another human was just as important as helping the girl before her.

I saw this in my discord notifs and I was like ' DID I JUST ANON MYSELF ? ' But anyway.

NO FOR REAL ! I used to OBSESSIVELY visit the Astral Express hoping Misha would be there and just immediately warp out if there was literally anyone else. Granted, there are other characters I like too but you know. Misha is very special which is why he's one of the primaries on this blog. Now I barely even visit the Express.

But no I 100% agree. From a story point, it's FANTASTIC and by far, Penacony was the best arc we got so far. The story of Misha and the Watchmaker is tragic and beautiful and one of the best things I've ever seen.

HOWEVER. You are right that Misha KIND OF SORT OF had his dream of Trailblazing ripped away from him with the realization that he is the Watchmaker. You can argue that he had his chance already with his life as Mikhail which YES, I will agree. I'll also agree that death is a VERY big theme in the Penacony arc.

But I'm certain that had the devs not been dead set on offing Misha, there were ways to give Mikhail a ' second chance ' as Misha ( well, a longer second chance ). I mean, look at K/ingdom Hearts and the 100 billion variants of S/ora / X/ehanort / etc ( and I haven't even played that series since the second game on literally the P/S2 ! ). Mikhail OBVIOUSLY died with a lot of regrets. The Dreamjoy Memoir event showed us that AND there's also literally a Y/outube video called ' The Sad and Gay Life of Mikhail Char Legwork ' ( that I still need to watch myself personally ). The man definitely deserved a second chance and H/OYO FUCKING TOOK THAT FROM US MAN.

I did see some leaks however suggesting we are getting a 5-star Tingyun however which I'm personally excited for because I liked her character too.
