' In His Time As A Bellboy. Bellboys Shouldn't Have Even Been Up To This Challenge ! But Here He Was,

β§βΛ β κ°ΰ§§ α― βγ €ΛΛΛγ €π»πππγ €βγ €πππ π'π ππππ πππ ππππ ππ ππ ππ πππ in his time as a bellboy. Bellboys shouldn't have even been up to this challenge ! But here he was, stuck on top of a rather high storefront; clutching a small PUPPY in his arms.

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €S - Sorry, Mister Altair ! U - umγ €βγ €a guest told me their puppy got lostγ €βγ €so I went looking for them ! I found them on a rooftop and I was able to climb up with some boxesγ €βγ €but then the boxes FELL OVER and now I can't get down ! γ €β
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €COULD he jump down on his own ? Maybe he couldγ €βγ €but what if he injured himself ? Then he wouldn't be able to HELP the Dreamchasers in Penacony !
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €βγ €I - I'm not really sure WHAT to do . . .γ €β

this call - @indeliblepromise ( Misha ) --β€ Trailblazer ( Altair )

" Misha! " He's staring at the boy, who has somehow climbed up really high?? Maybe he just ended up up there, who knows. All Altair knows is that he is very very confused as to why Misha is there. " What the hell? How did you get up there!? "

β§βΛ β κ°ΰ§§ α― βγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €ππππ, πππππ πππ ππ ππππ πππ he was getting out of this one. Too bad she wasn't a VAMPIRE or something that he could have just easily ' convinced ' her with his book. He would have felt bad about it anyway. He certainly did after he had used the book to manipulate Mademoiselle Domi.
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €A glance was directed towards the small flock of butterflies lingering over the doors. Geez, she REALLY didn't want him leaving.

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €You didn't HAVE to lock the door, Mademoiselle !γ €β
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €The boy says with a pout on his face. But at least it looked like he had FINALLY surrendered to the woman. Hopefully there wouldn't be any unintended consequences. After all, his ' guardian ' wasn't the most welcoming person.
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €Okay, fine. I guess if you're NOT going to let me out otherwise, I guess I'll let you walk me back !γ €β
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €Next time, he was definitely going to THINK TWICE about walking into businesses !

He was certainly right she wouldn't take that excuse involving his dog either. Rather his explanation was met with a slight raise of her eyebrows and light flick of her tail. Even if he could rely on his dog, she really didn't want to be so irresponsible as she was taking whomever was supposed to be caring for him was.

"Well, despite my near equally short legs to yours I can happily walk quite far. And now knowing you get tired easily I couldn't possibly let you go home alone. Even with EtoilΓ© being about to carry you." Charlotte was doing her best not to overstep too hard on scolding him, though she did wave her hand lightly in emphasis to her words, "So, I really must insist that I escort you back if you're rather far from home. Now no more little excuses, please."
She really wasn't going to let him give her too many more excuses, as she sent out a few other butterflies behind her to speed up locking up the shop. It rubbed her the wrong way to be irresponsible about him, and she wanted to better gauge the actual safety of the town. Escorting him was just not something she was going to be talked out of.

β§βΛ β κ°ΰ§§ α― βγ €ΛΛΛγ €π―π πππππ π'π πππ; it was rather surreal living with the belief and even the memories of being an ordinary bellboy with an ordinary seafarer Grandpa who just HAPPENED to have ties to the Astral Express as well as the memories of an EXTRAORDINARY Trailblazer who gave up everything for the planet he loved. At the same time, it was SAD. Even if those happy and sorrowful times still remained within him, it wasn't entirely the same of getting to SPEAK to Grandpa, Miss Razalina, and Mister Tiernan and go on adventures with them.
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €Yeahγ €βγ €it's weird knowing Grandpa was just a long - departed memory all this time. I didn't even remember Miss Razalina and Mister Tiernan until I remembered everything else. It would have been really nice if they could have COME ALONG with us.γ €β

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €But thank you, Dan Heng ! I really appreciate those words ! I'll do my best as Misha, the newest member of the Astral Express ! I can't wait to explore the galaxy with you guys !γ €β
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €The child smiles bright as he speaks those wordsγ €βγ €though there is a slight twinge of CONCERN when the other slows down. Rightγ €βγ €this ship WAS self - cleaning. Miss Robin had granted ownership of the vessel to the Nameless thoughγ €βγ €and it felt wrong to leave the property of the Nameless in a condition less than perfect.
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €Are you SURE ? If you're tired, I can take over ! I'm sure I can get it done in less than a system day ! We can tell stories at the SAME TIME too ! γ €β

Admittedly, Dan Heng felt the inspiration to personally clean the Radiant Feldspar wane a little. His mopping slowed as he listened to Misha's story, especially of the past Trailblazers. He still remembered happening on that Light Cone of the three of them with Pom-Pom, unable to help but feel a resonance with their predecessors. He imagined what it would've been like in those days, when Penacony hadn't become the Planet of Festivities and was still an IPc prison colony. Tendrils of mist drifted across the foredeck, the evening chill of the high altitude nowhere near as biting as it would've been in the waking world.
"I wonder what it would've been like, getting to know them. What it would be like, to build a whole new world." A rare, dreamy look entered gunmetal greens at the notion. He wondered if it would be possible with the Vidyadhara's home world of Sihai, a planet that had been abandoned for thousands of years when it had become impossible to inhabit after the hubris of his ancestors. A water world like the one Mikhail had originally hailed from.
But, that had little to do with the fact that Dan Heng had found a friend in a similar Nameless who had familiar origins. "You might have begun in him, but you're not just an extension of him. You're your own person," Dan Heng told the boy, but he doubted he needed reminding too much. "I think you'll like where we'll go. You might need some time getting used to reality... but I've been there before. Each of us was the newest member, at one time."
"We've been to a lot of places. Places even Mikhail might have gone to. I think you'd like them." Dan Heng glanced across the deck and how much more they had to go, chuffing in embarrassment when he realized. "We don't even have to clean. Everything gets reset in system day, and a new one is coming soon. It might not be a bad time for stories, though."

β§βΛ β κ°ΰ§§ α― βγ €ΛΛΛγ €βγ €Oh, I get a LOT out of it ! I get to talk to the guests and hear all about their travels ! It's really fun !γ €β

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €But you probably mean like ACTUAL, MATERIAL stuff, right ? Well, my co - worker and my friend, Gallagher gives me allowance sometimes ! He even winds up giving me EXTRA a lot of the time and refuses to take it back !γ €β

Internally, Akira grimaces.
It just seems like a LOT for a kid to do on their own. A part of him wonders what sort of man the younger's grandfather must be like--or at the very least what the rest of the staff must be going through. It just seems like hell.
" O-oh? That's a lot for anyone to take on. You must be pretty good at it. Do you get anything out of it? "

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €π΅ππ ππππ ππ ππππππππ πππ ππππππ. Adults were strange and complicated creatures that quite frankly, he didn't trust ONE BIT. Something like one's complexion tooγ €βγ €wasn't that something only the PARISIAN NOBLEWOMEN cared about ?
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €I think a more APPROPRIATE response would be to ask a child WHY they are upset, don't you think ? γ €β
