Even if the barrier between the Overworld and Underworld had been lifted after the Stellaron crisis, some of the Underworlders still held their grudges. Β Kunikida froze in concern and confusion when he heard what the boy said. βWhat?β
Children usually did not react this badly when they hear hospital or orphanage unless they had a negative experience. He could understand why the boy could react negatively to the word, orphanage. Even though orphanages are supposed to be a place that cares for children, some orphanages abused their orphans. Atsushi was a good example of that.
But a hospitalβ¦ Was he scared of needles? But stillβ¦ a fear of needles should not have this strong of a reaction. He couldnβt help but think back to Yumeno. Yumeno also did not like doctors due to their experiences. Just the thought of an orphanage or doctors abusing a child infuriated him. Children were meant to be protected and mentored, not abused.
βCalm down. I promise you that nobody is going to hurt you.β
If there were adults who mistreated the boyβs trust, gaining his trust would be hard.

βCan you please explain what you mean by earlier? What did the hospital and doctors do to hurt you before?β

He's so nice Ρ....Ρ

His mop had served him wellγ €βγ €but it definitely deserved a vacation or AT LEAST to retired to only train - cleaning duties. ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €For now though, he would believe in the mop's lasting resilience as he clutched it close to him. He scurries just behind the other Trailblazer; the obvious excitement NEVER fading.

the former bellboy's excitement is infectious, and caelus finds himself easily mirroring the other's grin. being a teacher instead of the one learning was something the trailblazer already found himself enjoying before it even happened, especially since it was something he was quite good at. golden eyes fall to misha's mop, a fleeting thought of it's durability flashing in his mind. he had seen the boy beat malfunctioning dreamjolt troupe members with it before, but intentionally whacking it didn't seem like the smartest idea. whatever, it'd probably be fine.

β 'course i have time ! and your mop'll be fine, for now at least till we get you a bat of your own. β caelus doesn't have the heart to tell misha that his bat was a curio that he got when he woke up, but he was sure that a regular bat would suit the other just fine. with that, the trailblazer ushers the boy towards the car meant for training, growing even more eager for their training session. β we're just gonna work on the basics for now so you can get a feel for it, sounds good ? β
