So I noticed you were writing a Rwby rewrite. And also the fact you made apparent it's a fan rewrite..

This isn't another fixing Rwby waiting to happen.. is it? Because I genuinely enjoy your writing but I just have a bad taste in my mouth after frwby.

I'm.. I'm genuinely smiling at the ask for some reason because for once in my fuckin life I get asked about something I'm dead set on doing.

As to answer your question.. look I don't watch frwby because I have a problem with the fact it's supposed to "fix" the show. The series is riddled with problems but it just feels kinda disingenuous to the show itself (and that means something because I criticize the shit out of this show).

But I can assure you this isn't trying to fix the show. If anything I'm just trying to stick close to cannon while also making certain changes I personally think work (or in the case of Adam, pure "fuck you I do what I want" energy.)

But to make it apparent, I criticize this show (or try to, considering I have as many braincells as times I've gotten laid.. aka zero) but the rewrite is more about showing how much i care about this show... And also to piss off literally every person in this fandom.

Rewrites don't have to be strictly "fixing" this show. Just showing respect and love for this show, while also trying to address this shows problems in a productive way. If you want to prove something. Put your money where your mouth is and DO IT.
