The funniest shit about sskk, in my humble opinion, is how different they are from zskk or skk.

Like, both the older generations had a member who acted with their heart – Fukuzawa and Chuuya - who were the "yang" part of the deal. The brighter, the stronger part, the offensive, the light.

Then, you had the one that acted with their head - Mori and Dazai - who were the "yin" part, the smarter and quieter and more subtle side. The one who plotted and steered and pulled them through.

Now. I love Akutagawa. I do. So much. Dearly. My son. My moon. My ever-loving little bundle of gothic happiness.

While he certainly is a formidable fighter and a fearsome opponent, he is far from being a tactical genius. He is also impulsive and irritable at times regardless of danger and circumstances.

So once again, I am asking, from the bottom of my heart–

What the fuck is Dazai thinking?

The dialogue distracts from it but if you watch this scene wo sound you can really see how good Ballister is at fighting. He doesn’t let up for even a second. Thre are sparks coming off the swords. He's bringing the sword down from all the way over his head. When Ambrosius is clearly not in a position to keep fighting, he keeps fucking swinging. This guy is a powerhouse

bsd confirms and then affirms that even when atsushi has no conscious control over byakko, byakko doesn't attack people unless atsushi is in mortal danger; and even then, is discerning (such as by attacking gab instead of akutagawa in 55 minutes). however, when byakko first meets dazai in the warehouse, it attacks him on sight. this is because byakko is wise.
