Okay so, it's an incredible honor to see "prev tags" about my own tags but when people say that and I have to go through like 15 people's reblogs just to find the object of the prev tag it has me wanting to commit a war crime.

I was about to jokingly say, “LOL can I send these autumnal asks in the dead of winter?” and then I noticed you posted them in the dead of winter.

And when they’d left for college, they’d been forced hundreds of miles apart, but still texted all day long, FaceTiming most nights. Sometimes friendships grow apart, and no one means for it to happen, sometimes it’s painful and sometimes it’s like a breath of fresh air… But Barty never drifted.

Barty was constant.

He had been about to break into 12 Grimmauld Place when Regulus had responded to his 47 missed text messages - Been in the closet for two days. Trying to sleep now. Come tonight? And Barty had crawled into his window like they had as kids, snuggled up against Regulus, and let him cry into his chest. Barty had run his fingers through Regulus’ usually perfect, now unruly curls, singing soft lullabies and whispering reassurances. He’d offered to take a semester off school so he could stay close, so that Regulus wouldn’t be alone, but Regulus wouldn’t let him. And after two weeks Regulus was entirely alone with nothing but his job, text messages, and the occasional FaceTime from Barty.
