Certainly, they weren't the best.

They were/are kids shows. Just like Ninjago. Ninjago isn't the best either. But all of Lego's shows(except maybe Bionicle, my brain seems to have just decided Bionicle=bad and must be deleted back when I watched it as a middle schooler who was at that awkward stage where all kids shows are bad, and it's just... not there?? I've always had pretty okay judgement when it comes to quality and my brain doesn't usually do this, so idk) have their good qualities and strengths. Of course, they're a bit awkward and have all suffered through MAJOR plot holes, but overall?

They're all pretty good shows with good themes and cool premises.

I'm 75% sure that the main reason Ninjago is so much more popular is because A: Ninjas, B: they have so much more ✨trauma✨, and C: it's run for the longest and is the first. Oldest sibling privileges :)

Unpopular opinion that might get me killed or just booted from the Ninjago fandom. (Inhale) Just because Nexo Knights and Chima weren't as good as Ninjago doesn't mean they're bad.

Lightning, Earth, Fire, Ice... each in and of themselves could destroy communities and civilizations.

Earth is clearest to see in that. All it would take is one little shake-and down goes Ninjago City, into the chasms, into the bowels of the dirt that it came from.

Fire consumes and destroys and is incredibly dangerous. But it's escapable, most of the time. The thing to fear with fire is when it races over fields and farms because it's been so dry lately and it takes away food and water for all the people who hadn't even realized how much they relied on that area.

Ice is a silent killer. It comes, it covers, and it traps. It's so easy to get lost in, particularly if it works with Wind. Cut off from communication and other people, lost in the snow... it's so easy to fall asleep

Lightning, now... the occasion to fear with lightning is when it strikes just the right plant and shuts down a whole nation. My bff's dad works at a power plant, and he'll talk about if the one plant went off, half of a US state would be without power for weeks-maybe even months because everything is so interconnected.
