Saturday, 10:34 p.m.

Determination, a trait that Leo possessed to an almost insanely high degree. Determined to find their mother’s killer, determined to destroy G Corp. and Kazuya. In fact the only thing that shattered their determination was confronting you.

Despite the years of knowing and working together Leo couldn’t bring themself to reveal their feelings.

Leo’s quiet nature often conflicted with their determination—specifically their determination to be with you. Silently cursing themself for things they wanted to do and say but ultimately couldn’t.

Even now as you sit next to one another in this cold, isolated establishment. Eating on the small pearly dishes provided. The evening consuming the anxiety plastered on Leo’s face. They were still with confliction.

Silently building resolve Leo turned their light blue eyes to yours. “What’s up, Leo?” They immediately averted their eyes once again.

“I need to talk to you tomorrow.” Sipping on the coffee Leo returned to being uncomfortably silent. Now Leo was naturally quiet but THIS was abnormal. “Everything okay?”

They only nodded in response and continued downing the coffee. “Let’s just go back to the hotel.” You said a bit agitated with the sickening silence only being interrupted by the buzz of the light above your head. Leaving the cash on the table for the owner the two of you gathered your belongings and returned to the deserted streets.

Saturday, 11:50 p.m.

“Ever wonder why the bedsheets are tucked SO far into the mattress?” You engaged the anxious Leo in small talk as you both arrived back to the room.

A shake of disapproval is all you received once again. “Leo, is there something wrong? You’ve been acting really weird today.”

“Sorry.” They removed their shoes and scarf upon entering. “Look you can tell me anything Leo. We’ve been friends for over a year now, I’m here if you want to talk.”

With a flustered face Leo sighed. “I’ll tell you tomorrow.” Knowingly giving themself a deadline scared the ever loving shit out of Leo but they were determined to get this off their chest.

Saturday, 11:59 p.m.

Standing by the shower Leo’s head filled with thoughts. Furrowing their brows they shut off the water and unknowingly slammed the door open.

Leo’s wet blonde hair stuck to their face as they stood in front of the two beds. “Woah there you wanna finish getting dressed?”

They tensed once again. “No.”

Staring at them just standing in front of you. Simultaneously creating a pool of water on the floor. “I have to say something and if you don’t feel the same I understand.”

“I hope this isn’t a marriage proposal.” You joked unknowingly crushing their spirit.

Leo’s mouth ran dry as they chose their next words carefully.

Sunday, 12:00 a.m.

“I really like you and,” Leo paused to gauge your immediate reaction before continuing. “I wanted to know if you would be comfortable going on a date with me.”

“Are you serious?”

Leo’s still frame remaining unchanged until your answer was clearly stated.

“Oh sorry—why not!” You reached out to them even with their moist exterior. “Honestly thought you would never ask.”

A sigh of relief escaped from Leo as they too reached out to you in a hug.

Shockingly pulling away Leo began spewing out first date ideas for the two of you without taking a break for air.

“That all sounds great Leo, but, why don’t you finish getting ready for bed?” Their eyes widened with a sheepish smile. “Yeah..sorry.”

It’s no secret that Clawdeen LIVES for the mall

She’ll always take you there for shopping for yourself and her

Stopping at food vendors for a quick bite and continuing your mall ogling

If you have similar tastes you’ll stick together for the most part

If your style is different you’ll separate for a bit before uniting to look at different things together

As her girlfriend if you buy something for her in secret she’ll give you a little peck and immediately try it on

She obviously trusts your taste in fashion

There is no set bag person so you either split your bags amongst each other or take turns holding everything

Not opposed to getting matching outfits either

She’ll spend hours looking for heels so if you don’t wear them have fun watching her become a professional heel inspector

You guys definitely go to makeup stores to give each other free makeovers and leave right before the staff tells you to pay for it

Will totally go into those photo booths for pictures with you

Might buy a pair of roller skates for fun(will zoom around the mall with them)

By the time your done there it’s the next day and your bank account has been wiped.

But it’s Clawdeen so who cares
