Everything felt new and exciting when you were with him, and he made you feel like you could reach for the stars if you wanted, like everything was fine and nothing could ever hurt you as long as you were with him. 

He pushed the cart faster, making you trip on your feet before catching you in his arms and laughing that honey laced, heartwarming laugh of his, the sound echoing in your ear. He picked you up and put you inside the cart among containers of chocolate ice cream and candy of all sorts, your legs hanging out.
