• the idea of sub! minhyuk isn’t one that I’ve really actively considered, but the longer I sit and think about it, the more tumultuous it seems • minhyuk is the living, breathing definition of “chaotic neutral” • if you apply this knowledge to situations involving non-platonic relationships, things are bound to get a little wild • he is n o t h i n g like hyunwoo or jooheon. he’s not sweet and gentle and it’s really quite the hassle to try and get him to do anything unless he wants to do it or it’ll benefit him in some way • sometimes he’s just downright atrocious • he talks back, he’s sassy, he pitches the worst fits in the world • he blatantly ignores whatever rules you lay out for him (there’s been more than one occasion in which you’ve found printed copies torn to shreds) • he likes to press your buttons, loves watching your face contort with barely constrained frustration. he likes to watch that fire of exasperation flicker to life in your eyes • he wants to know what you’re willing to let him slide with, wants to see just how long it takes before you put your foot down and force him back into submission • he wants to see just how far he’s allowed to push things before you snap back and punish him • ,,,, if we’re being completely honest, that’s all he wants • naughty little thing just wants to be put in his place, to be shown who’s boss • the mixture of excitement and fears that shocks his system every time head able to push you over that edge is nothing short of electrifying • he wants your hands around his throat, slowly restricting his airflow until his body is absorbed in delicious warmth and his head is swimming • he wants your palms against the supple flesh of his bottom and the backs of his thighs, painting the pallid flesh a vibrant red • he wants to look in the mirror the morning after and trace the tips of his fingers over the marks that you left in your wake as you worked your way down the expanse of his body • oh, did I mention he’s got a master/mistress kink • because he does • it pales in comparison to some of his others but it dOES exist and I feel like that’s information that needs to be shared • enough of the bratty babe and his masochistic tendencies, though • there are some times when he isn’t hell on wheels, though they’re few and far between • when he sees that his dom really isn’t in the mood for any type of funny business, he reverts into one of the sweetest beans the world has ever seen • he might be a little heathen but he would never push his partner over the edge like that. he understands boundaries and doesn’t want to contribute to a stress overload • he'all quietly go about doing little things, like straightening up messy rooms or tending to chores his lover would usually handle • he’d bring them tea or fix them their favorite snack in the hopes of taking the edge off • he’d hold them close, murmuring soft words of praise as he peppered soft kisses to whatever exposed skin graced his vision • full body massages!! (with lots and lots of kisses because he’s a big body worship kinda fella)
• naps !!! because proper rest is important
• movie nights and takeout !!! because sometimes you just need to kick back and not have to worry about dinner
• he’s also an exceptionally soft bean when he’s tired or not feeling well • he’s?? so whiny?? he’s nothing but soft pouts and watery eyes • it’s actually really sad to see. minhyuk is hardly e v e r like this so you know that the discomfort he feels is genuine and you want to do everything in your power to assuage the feeling • he clings to you like his life depends on it and cries when you try to leave the room • he just wants to be held. he wants to bury his face in your chest, wants you to play with his hair until his eyelids grow heavy and he succumbs to the haze of drowsiness that has fallen over his being • speaking of sleep, I just wanna take a minute to bring to light the fact that he d o e s sleep with you • who knows, this might be completely useless information but thinking about it made me want to cry I love him so much • he’ll never admit it but getting ready for bed is easily one of his favorite parts of the evening. there’s nothing better than winding down after a long day and slipping under the covers with your favorite person • even when he’s in trouble or pitching a fit, he’ll creep down the hall to your bedroom and crawl under the sheets when he thinks you’ve dozed off. he has a hard time sleeping without you • you haven’t dozed off. you’ve been waiting for him to come because you can’t sleep without him either • the cuddliest of cuddle bugs?? he l i v e s for the warmth you radiate and the way your arms feel wrapped around his torso • wraps his arms around your waist and tangles his legs in yours • sleeps with his face buried in your neck • the tickle of his hair on your nose is what wakes you up almost every morning • on the days that it doesn’t, it’s his lips dancing across your face that do. he’ll press feather-light kisses across whatever exposed skin he can reach before sealing his lips to yours when your eyes finally open • tl;dr: he’s a big little bit of a brat but his soft side is about as mushy as they come
