Yes I’m late I know, but I doodled @ddeathofher on instagram’s spidersona spiderrose for Ramadan and posted it on my insta, hope everyone who celebrates has a good fast. From your non Muslim friend~

Luka, Kaito and Miku are all from one side of the family(Miku's dad's) while Rin and Len are from Miku's mom's side of the family, but Kaito has been resident babysitter since, like, forever for all the kids so he treats Rin and Len like they're related to him too.

Luka's mom is Kaito's and dad-miku's older sister but her dad is chinese-american(since when she debuted as a voice bank she could sing in both Chinese mandarin, English and Japanese(yeah i did my research)) so she went to a private Mandarin/English school and wasn't around as much when they where kids.

Rin and Len have the standard sibling relationship, but they spend most of their time together bc they're twins and just feel like they need to be close. However about 80% of that time spent together is just them bickering about the most mundane shit ever.

They're no longer allowed to be in the same class together bc they used to full on wrestle eachother at school in elementary, and that reputation has kinda stuck with them throughout middle school. (They're 14 currently)

Miku is currently attending a fancy music school™️ in the City, however her family lives more out in the boonies so she had to move to attend. Thankfully her good ol' uncle Kaito lives in the City and has an extra room to spare, so she gets to live there while she's at school. Rin and Len('burbs kids) like to spend time there too since they're quite close with Miku, and Kaito is just a whole lot chiller than their mum, so they'll be at his place most days. Luka likes to pop in here and there too but, unlike the others, has a life outside the family.

Luka's a tad bit spoilt, but she's still a fairly kind person.

Oh and please excuse the crusty doodles, it's too hot to deal with electronics rn.

I headcannon the main vocaloids to be related, so Kaito is the single uncle who takes care of Miku since he lives in the city and Rin and Len are cousins with Miku. Luka’s like the oldest cousin and Meiko is like Kaito’s close friend from uni.

And since it’s summer the kids are home on summer vacation and Kaito is doing what he normally does (which is nothing) during the day, but now the kids are taking advantage of it
