Nobody can tell this isn't something teenage boy Damian's age would say, bc I know for a fact it is. He's a menace and I love him for it.
Dick communicates with the ex-robin club through a series of whistles they developed while they were robin. this is useful while in the field when the need secret communications. bruce doesn't understand the whistle language (they change the tunes purposely to exclude him). it makes for awkward arguments where everyone's just angrily whistling at each other and bruce is standing there like...what is happening?
I wanna make a toast to Batman, the greatest father four degenerate bastards ever had...

HEADCANON #1
I wholeheartedly believe that while Bruce wasn't a bad father to Dick, he also wasn't the greatest. Purely because he'd never had to care for a kid before, he didn't know the first thing about how. Alfred still had to make sure he didn't accidentally wind up dead because he forgot to eat in between being Batman and Gotham's resident pretty boy billionaire socialite. How did he expect himself to be able to take care of an actual child when he couldn't even take care of himself?
So it's hard, now, for Dick to see Bruce being a genuinely good father to the others. Bruce going to "bring your parents to work day" because Tim's own father couldn't make it, Bruce showing up to Damian's school science fair and asking questions about his experiment even though he helped Damian build it, Bruce going to see Steph in her school's play (even though she's only Talking Lady #3 and doesn't have any real lines as she so adamantly tells him), and so on forth and so on forth.
And it's not that he's upset for these other kids to be getting a good father-figure in their lives, it's just that he's jealous.
He's jealous because he didn't get to have that.
Bruce was still figuring shit out, Bruce was still trying to keep him at a distance and not get too close because he didn't want Dick to be another person he lost after letting him in even though what Dick needed more than anything was somebody to let him in.
So yea, Dick is jealous. He's jealous because not only was he replaced by Jason, but he was also replaced by Tim, and by Steph, and by Damian and not only as Robin— the name his mom used to call him, mind you, a name that was special and that he chose for himself because of that special meaning— but also as Bruce's kid.
He doesn't blame Bruce for not knowing, because he knows ultimately it isn't Bruce's fault. He's just mourning the fact that he never got the childhood he's witnessing all these other kids finally have and he feels robbed of it— robbed of having a good father, robbed of having someone to be there for his "bring your parent to work day", robbed of having someone help him build an experiment for his science fair and ask questions about it, robbed of having someone he could pick out in the crowd when he got picked to be Tree #1 in his school play.
He's happy for the others, because they deserve this happiness, but he's also jealous and feels guilty for said jealousy because he watched someone get better for somebody else and is left to wonder if maybe it was just him.
Maybe it's not that Bruce wasn't good at taking care of Dick, maybe it's just that Bruce didn't want Dick.
Anyways, let Dick Grayson be an angsty motherfucker because even though I like him being the sunshine, happy, rainbows-and-unicorns older brother to all the Bat-kids, I also think he deserves to have his trauma acknowledged, because watching someone put so much effort into loving somebody who isn't you when all you wanted was the bare minimum hurts.

The scene in Stranger things, season 3........where Robin and Steve are on the washroom floor, high off their asses and throwing up all over the place, and Robin reveals to Steve that they are, in-fact, gay............. a fact which Steve responds to with ‘I don't give two shits about your sexuality but bro at least have taste.......I mean Tammy Thompson? Really??’ and then the 2 of them proceed to burst out into song.......
AND
The scene in Shang chi where Katy and Shang chi are on the plane and he's going on about his backstory............ And Katy throws all of that out the window like ‘I don't give a shit that the person I’ve know for ten goddamn years is not actually who I thought he was but wtf is up with your name bro??’ and then she gives him endless mockery for it.......
Both these scenes radiate the same #bestiegoals energy. Convince me otherwise I dare you.

A/N: first time doing a hc and stobin, hope you like it
so let's begin - two years after coming out to Steve, Robin comes out to her parents
unfortunately, things don't go so good and her dad kicks her out (shit, it's the 80's)
her mom can't do much, so she packes her things in tears and leaves, hoping she would be back soon
lost, she calls Steve to pick her somewhere bc it's late at night
"Robin, what's wrong? Were you crying?"
"Just come, please."
He's there in a second.
Once he stops the car, he leaves and runs into her
They hug in the moment they get close enough
And she cries again
He doesn't make questions, just comforts her until they get in the car
He sleeps on the floor so she has the bed
Next morning she tells him what happened
"You can stay here as long as you need." "He'll change his mind."
"I don't know, Stev. I don't think it'll be any time soon."
She stays at his house for a couple a weeks until they find a place she can pay for
He would offer to help but this powerful lady takes no help
Stubborn, he would say
They end up hanging out there more than expected
Eventually his children show up
But she still misses her family
It still hurts
"What have I done wrong?"
"Nothing. There's nothing wrong with you."
Steve admires how she has this strong personality, she inspires him
"I miss home." - she says sad
"Hey," he holds her tight "you're home."
Fandom art; part 1
First one is of Ken kenaki, I painted him with water colors. And it was the first use of my brush pens, so it is an older piece, it took up most of the page; size is medium - large
Second is Arima Yusa from my Au. Tokyo ghoul is the fandom again. I decided that he would like lose clothing and where masks around. He still doesn’t feel comfortable with the new changes going on in the world. In my Au there are major changes(Will be explained at one point), so he lives with Take Hirako. Full page size: Large
Third is also from my Au of Tokyo ghoul, this is also Arima Yusa. Like I said before a lot of changes. Too much too explain In this post. He is in a coffee shop. Either Re: or Anteiku, still don’t know Yusa’s age (which will change the story, comment if you know,) this was my favorite painting and it took a long time. Full page, size: Large
Now the Fourth……. Honestly I will just say the characters 4 OCs, 1 Kakashi, 1 Arima, 1 Kenaki, 1 kijima(don’t remember his name properly), 1 Eto/Takatsuki Sen, 1 Uta, and 1 Kate Kane (Have fun finding them)
Fifth is Tim Drake, this is a Lazarus Tim Fanart. Just for the concept itself not for a specific thing. I also decided to draw circles at the bottom, which I turned in to rocks. I did this for practice with line confidence, plus the challenge of monochromatic
Last, but not least, a close up of Tim. I actually use a piece of golden take for the choker in this.

as much as i love the “dick is damian’s fav batman” narrative, the ‘justice league son of batman’ plotline offered unexplored potential for the sheer confusion that gotham must’ve gone through watching “batman” suddenly show up one day 3 inches shorter, bludhaven accent, trying to wrangle the feral little kid that was following him around fine a week ago
Lux's opinions on the strawhats.
Written ver until I can be bothered to draw it.
Luffy.
• She refers to him as 'the rubber kid'.
• Sees him as childish.
• Lux is a year older than Luffy so doesn't fully believe in his devil fruit's power and believes it to be exaggerated rumours.
• She has an avid dislike for his cheery attitude and thinks it will get him killed.
• Sees him as a younger version of her twin brother.
• Vows to capture him one day, but never will actually do so as much as she says so.
• Lux hates when Luffy refers to her as his friend as it risks her position in the marines.
• She's threatened to melt him into a rubber soup at least five times.
Nami.
• Lux sees Nami in the same way she views her girlfriend, a strong and dangerous woman.
• As much as she won't admit it, Lux has a slight crush on her.
• She would offer to cover Nami with her coat if she ever met her, Kholodian clothing standards show her style as provocative.
• When Lux's hair is not on fire, the two look identical minus eye colour.
Zoro.
• The two have had very brief encounters, mutual dislike of each other.
• Refers to him as 'plankton' as she views him as small and insignificant.
• She has listened to Tashigi rant about his swords too many times to not remember the blades. Though she struggles to pronounce the names of the three swords.
• She has a slight respect for him due to his connection to Mihawk, but that's as far as it goes.
• She'd like to invite him to spar with her one day.
Sanji.
• Lux finds him VERY irritating, but tolerates him.
• She has exploited his love for women in at least two fights.
• She would love to teach him some recipes from her homeland, Kholodon.
• Lux has admitted on one occasion that she would consider him were he not so perverted.
• She recognises his cooking ability and states that he might be better than most marine chefs.
Ussopp.
• She believes he is just a coward.
• Lux hates Ussopp greatly due to his habit of lying.
• While she dislikes him, she won't deny his ability to shoot, even putting it on the same level as her own second in command, Zotto.
• Lux doesn't understand why he's on the Straw Hat crew, but internalises the confusion.
Robin.
• Lux is terrified of Robin.
• She refers to her as 'the devil woman' and will not refer to her by her actual name.
• She knows Robin is wary of her, so keeps her distance.
• While they both have a mutual dislike, they can agree on intimidating Sanji when necessary.
• Lux does not like Robin due to the amount of paperwork she caused her when she was Miss Sunday.
Brook.
• Had it not been for Lux working under a living skeleton when she lived in Kholodon, she'd be surprised.
• She dislikes the amount of times he's asked to see her.. yeah.
• Lux has threatened to turn him into bonemeal on several occasions.
• Lux enjoys his music as it makes her feel less homesick.
Franky.
• Lux has had very few encounters with him, though she admits his shipwright abilities are incredible.
• She refers to him as 'that blue brute'.
• Lux has no general opinion on Franky, all she knows is he causes her paperwork which is mildly irritating.
Chopper.
• Lux is infatuated with Chopper since he reminds her most of her homeland.
• She has said his abilities are incredible and that she'd like to have him join the marines to work with him on several occasions.
• Lux often refers to him as 'Kholodian Puffball' though she knows he wouldn't understand the meaning behind the nickname.
Jimbei.
• He reminds her of her dad.
• She likes Jimbei a lot, viewing him as a familial figure.
• Lux is a little intimidated by him.
• She has a positive opinion, but isn't as keen since he was a warlord.
• Out of all the straw hats, she likes Jimbei the most.
• When tired, Lux will sit next to Jimbei and rest despite her night terrors.
• Lux is the closest with Jimbei out of all the warlords.
