I Think This Is A Mental Stance I Need To Take. All Of This Stuff Ive Been Hearing About MDZS, The Fans,
I think this is a mental stance I need to take. All of this stuff I’ve been hearing about MDZS, the fans, the antis, has driven my anxiety through the roof at times. I’m prone to catastrophizing, and the cold, hard truth of the matter is that I don’t know crap about what’s going on overseas or how they work. All I know is hearsay; so, I need to take to a step back and just realize that, not only is the situation, whatever it may be, out of my hands, I don’t even have the full story. It all comes back to “What do I know?” -shrugs-
But, yeah, this was a good post, and I thought I’d share this.
I'm not sure but maybe the previous anon might refer to the situation with mdzs fans, you can find info on manhua-assistant blog.
If the previous anon was talking about mdzs, then I don’t think the incident will affect the donghua. If anything, it will make the staff even more careful about the BL elements of the donghua for fear of the censorship office. The truth is that Cornetto is making a hell of money from their mdzs-themed ice-cream shop, both TGCF and MDZS have been on jjwxc’s top charts for ages, and there’s no reason to think that the donghua will be any different.
By the way, I think manhua-assistant was pushing 2 different topics together. The post made by the author on weibo was aiming at the fans who were flaming mzy, the actress of Wen Qing, online over the rumors about Wen Qing Ling, not the teacher’s committing suicide incident. It’s an entirely different drama of its own. The next post by the author was her apologizing to the fans because while she didn’t change her stance on the fans’ personal attacks on mzy, her words were too heavy-handed (the exact words used were “flesh-eating”, in a referencing to Lu Xun’s story, A Mad Man’s Diary).
I should also note that mxtx has a lot of antifans who will twist every single things mxtx and the fans do into sth horrific. The author has been accused of plagiarism (with little evidence for the crime), has been accused of paying people to make music and arts to advertise her works, has been accused of just paying lip service when she told the fans to not attack mzy personally. The fandom itself has also been repeatedly accused of being too rabid and kept mention mdzs all over the place.
Personally, I take all those accusations with a grain of salt. Antis are going to be antis. Same with the story of the teacher. Unless proper verification is made (like who the teacher is, which region she comes from, does she exist as an actual person or is this just another internet rumor, the exact reason why she commits suicide, for all we know, if the person exists, she could have committed suicide over an entirely differently reason, what is the result of the authority’s investigation, etc.), I believe in nothing.

Ya’ll can blame @jae-duhb for these. I love this au though.

Wet mane!WWX.
Have a nice day.
So, like...thanks for the art. That crown is super dope, and sect leader!WN as a whole looks super dope.
I also want to thank you for this AU. I need to see more.
100/10

- Mommy, who is this young master? - See the sun on his clothes? This is a young Leader of Qishan Wen Sect, sir Wen Qionglin. - Wen? The Wen sect? - Yeah, dear, but don’t be afraid. The Sun for left the warpath long time ago. - He looks so sad, mommy… - Yes, honey. That’s because he lost… someone very important to him. - Who? - Mm, do you remember the story about Yiling Patriarch? - The one who was betrayed by his own men and crucified on the gate? - Yes, honey, but don’t shout it so loud. - So? - What “So”, honey? - I remember the Yiling Patriarch. So? - Sir Wei Wuxian was the precious spouse of sir Wen Qionglin. And the mother of his child. - Ooh… - Yes, honey. Now let’s go, we don’t need to bother sir Wen for nothing…
A part of my Ningxian AU. Actually i just wanted to draw Wen Ning as a sect leader, so text is a kind of bonus xD
The Cursed Dragon Is A Bride
An undead dragon!WWX AU where suddenly finds himself betrothed to the Second Prince of the Qingheng Emperor.
There's a saying that two tigers can't live on one mountain. The same could be said for two dragons.
The Dragon of Kuizhou, XY, and the Dragon of Yiling, WWX, have always been at odds. While the former used his great powers to torment humanity, the latter brought fortune and prosperity.
They clashed constantly, and one day, WWX defeated XY in battle.
However, before the villain died, he bestowed a "parting gift" to the victor—a curse.
Slowly, painfully, the WWX lost his lustrous black scales that shone like a rainbow, his flesh melting away ‘til he was nothing but stark white bones. Only unwavering love could restore him.
For years, hundreds, he remained cursed. After all, an undead dragon couldn't mean anything good.
Even in his human form, WWX showed signs of being cursed: pale hair and skin, bones showing against flesh, nails like claws. He truly looked like a wraith ready to steal lives by draining the blood of hapless victims. It didn’t take a genius to understand the difficulty of his situation.
His luck changed, however, the day he saved a naughty prince who snuck away from his entourage and found himself being outnumbered by some thugs. As a show of gratitude, the prince offered his hand to him in marriage.
An extremely hefty reward, but it wasn’t like WWX was going to reject a beauty like Second Prince LWJ.
Canon Divergent AU Where WWX Saves JYL From Death At The Bloodbath Of Nightless City
But He Dies In Her Stead
WWX sees her try to shield him from an oncoming attack, and he grabs her, spins them around, and takes the blade into his own back.
...The End.
