Makes Perfect Sense And I Do Remember Rey, When She First Arrived, Found Some Writing In Basic But Couldnt

Makes perfect sense and I do remember Rey, when she first arrived, found some writing in Basic but couldn’t read/make sense of it.

Fynn Ren … looks interesting … I kinda want put an ‘L’ between the ‘F’ and the ‘Y’

*laughs*

I have a question about Whom Hades Seized, how do the names of the Knights of Ren work? When you join are you assigned a name based off of your gift(s) or is it selected from a list or do you take the name of one that died/retired?

My answer turned into a short essay? Oops.

Knights whose given birth names are already in High Basic are not renamed. Hecate, Thanatos, and Dion were all born to Imperial/First Order parents, so their parents would have given them High Basic names from the beginning. Morpheus also named Phobetor in High Basic, even though it was not his first language. For those whose birth names were originally in other languages, their name would be transliterated and sometimes shortened into High Basic (not translated!). So Strei-kai-loro became Kylo. Morpheus, Nyx, and Pasithea all changed their birth names into the High Basic ones they use now.

The knights’ familial names are dropped and replaced with the title “Ren.” It is essentially a symbolic marker that they have joined the Knights. For example, Hecate was born “Hecate Soteria,” but when she joined the Knights, she became “Hecate Ren.”

There is no concept of retirement for the knights. They keep the title “Ren” until death. It is very rare, but knights may choose to leave, or they could commit some grievous wrong and be banished from the knights. In those cases, they would not be permitted to keep the title.

The normal naming rules don’t apply to the King of the Dead. Kylo retains all of his names and titles at once, both on the maternal and paternal sides. That would include the title “Ren.” You might have noticed that Thrawn didn’t quite understand this, because the ways of the knights are fairly hidden and they stay out of court politics. It is a common misconception that Kylo, like the rest of the Knights, dropped his family names to take the title “Ren.” Which would have made the blood rite impossible, since it requires one person to confer a family name onto the other person.

We need a fan fic based off of this right now! I will pay in fan fics (some restrictions apply) for this! I will write extra for the crossed section to be included.

Imagine if Darth Vader had raised the twins.

I have assumed that Naboo was supposed to unstablized the Republic if things went according to plan. If things went according to plan Padme, or Sabe disguised as Queen Amidala, would have been forced to sign the treaty and killed shortly afterwards.

Once this got out there would be outrage throughout the entire Republic. Trust would be lost in the Senate and worlds could then be led away possibly em masse because of it.

After a lot of unrest and everything things would come to a head and boil over.

Then at some point Palpatine would seize control and be a hero.

BUT this might not be the case and in an Alternate Universe anything is possible.

So in Anabasis the Invasion of Naboo was the first act of the Clone Wars, right? Did Palps see this coming, and have timetable stepped up, or were they forced into service half-grown/trained? Were the clones not only child soldiers by years as in canon, but also by physiology? Or were they spared that indignity, and 'only' thrown into the meatgrinder half-trained, with only the best or luckiest surviving? Was there a cadre of the first batches, who had completed their training, serving as NCOs?

Naboo was the beginning of the Clone Wars, yes.

I’m actually pretty sure it was supposed to be in canon, in fact. But Queen Amidala foiled his plans, and Palps had to fall back on Option B.

That said, it’s honestly a little weird that AOTC tells us the clones are only ten years old, since it does leave the question of who Palps was planning to use to fight his war if his plan in TPM had gone…well, according to plan.

But for Anabasis purposes, I’m basically just assuming that Palps ordered his clone army a bit earlier in the timeline. So they were physically adults at the beginning of the war, though none of them had any field experience. Basically the same situation as Geonosis in canon.

The NCOs did come from the first batch, and as in canon, the commissioned officers were all Jedi.

As the war went on, though, new clones were increasingly put into service before they were fully grown or fully trained, because the first batch was really quite small.

So yeah, an army of very very young men, technically adults (but only in the most technical sense), with a whole host of Jedi child commanders, and soon enough, a child Sith commander too.

Everything about this was terrible, basically. (But really that’s not any different than canon.)

Funny HeadCanon Image

So, for those familiar with the Rebels episode ‘Twin Suns’ from the Third Season one scene keeps bouncing around my mind when i remember the opening scene: Maul is lost and screams ‘Kenobi’ in angry frustration. I imagine that Obi-Wan is a short distance away, maybe hiding behind a boulder, stiffling laughter. Then I imagine Obi-Wan spending all the time Maul was on Tatooine looking for him going in all sorts of different directions and dangerous places before doubling back and going someplace else; all the time laughing at how dumb Maul was.

Whether or not this is true I don’t care and you’ll have to pry the image of a laughing Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi hiding behind a rock as Maul screams for him nearby from my cold dead hands,

To answer your questions in order

1: No!

2: If it ties into the ST I missed it or it was subtle.

3: No Breha isn't in it so you will have to write her in.

4: I don't know which Vader appears in R1 since he is used sparingly but he does kick Rebel Tail and does have a funny line but I think the line is more along the lines of 'I find your lack of faith disturbing' than 'all I'm surrounded by is fear and dead men.

A couple questions about Rogue One, for all you kids who have seen it:

Does it deal at all with brainwashing, religious coercion, psychological conditioning of children, or any related mental control issues?

I’ve heard that it ties in directly with Disney’s sequel trilogy somehow. How important is the tie in, and how explicit is it? (Also if anybody wants to tell me exactly what the tie in is, that would be appreciated.)

Is Breha Organa in it, or am I gonna have to write her in myself (if I see it)?

Which version of Darth Vader appears?

I think this covers everything for me, but if there’s anything else people noticed you think I might want / need to know, feel free to tell me. No need to avoid spoilers - I’d honestly like to be spoiled. Thanks!
