Meeting Bokuto Kotarou was one of the best things that had ever happened to her.
He had saved her from the loneliness that would befall upon her in her high school years had they not befriended each other. He approached her like a bolt from the blue, and swept her off her feet.
For him she was the breeze that relaxed him everytime her touch was blessed upon his skin. She laughed at all his silliest jokes when no one else did and cried with him on his bad days.
She was the breeze that always stayed.
He made her feel appreciated like she never had before. He made her feel his love in ways one can't possibly describe in words. He made her feel the kind of love she hadn't ever felt. The kind that kept her head in the air but feet on ground, he'd always hold her hand and pull her closer to him as if she was going to drift away the moment he let go.
He treated her as if she were a fragile butterfly.
He felt that it was okay to be his usual, loud self when he was with her. He felt this strange comfort that he had never felt before, like the feeling of an embrace around his body. And he felt utterly safe, like she wouldn't judge him even if the entire world was against him.
She was his safe haven.
He gave her his all, his efforts and his love.
Bokuto Kotarou loved Y/n L/n more than love itself.
He was his best version when she was with him, haha, maybe that's why his teammates usually urged her to come to their matches on a frequent basis.
She was like a second nature to him, a need in life, one that he couldn't live without, like the oxygen needed by a human being. He couldn't ever stand being apart from her for any longer than 10 minutes, god knows how he got through his classes without her in them.
She was thankful for the time he had spent on her, loving her, making her put down her walls for him, and staying with her throughout the three years they had spent in their high school and for the many years they would spend together in the future.
He wanted to be with her to the end of eternity. He just loved her so fucking much. And he wouldn't ever let her go.
People that surrounded the two lovers would always whisper the same thing over and over again,
"So beautiful. They are so beautiful."
Beautiful.
