I've mostly written about Wangxian on this blog, but I thought I should mention that I am all over the place with shipping, fanart, fic, etc. I have a satosugu fic I may never actually write and I recently picked my ShinZawa fic back up. WX hits so many buttons for me, but the fandom that got me back in after years of being off Tumblr, watching anime rapidly again, writing fic and trolling for fanart... is My Hero Academia. I'm a Bakugou stan and I lost my mind over krbk a few years ago. Good times (yes, it was quarantine and we were coping LOL).

Just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone actually paid attention to my little void space over here, so no one got surprised by the teacher/student content or disparate fandoms that don't really overlap at all. My Twitter is far more NSFW and more active, though I don't write anything there because I've never been able to stay under the character count. 😌

Just finished Waiting for Spring by thievinghippo despite actively not giving af about baseball and had that postfic high of the closure and relief that so often comes with Wangxian. I love them so much. I love how well they can be put into so many AU and still be them. Different authors always highlight different themes from MDZS, whether it's A-Yuan, WWX's exile or sense of justice, LWJ's moral growth or clan challenges, all the side characters, family dynamics, betrayals, grief, hope... I eat it all up.

(And whew the quality smut of this fic and the fandom overall is definitely a huge plus.)

Shen Qingqui: this man would be exactly my type if I were gay, bummer I'm not into massive heavenly perfect dicks

Wei Wuxian: this man is objectively the most attractive person to ever exist, too bad he's a boring prude made of stone who is also mad at me

Xie Lian: this man must be so beloved by his special someone, I hope our friendship doesn't get in the way of that

I like MXTX novels because I'm a big fan of having the "cursed by fate with Tragic Edgelord syndrome" character and the "motivated almost entirely by love and a desire to save that one guy" character hook up and kiss
