As for the loyalists: Horus.. just.. doesn't grab the attention of the the ruinous powers, Vulkan's still Vulkan, I don't think the Lion's stiff brain would even let him fall, the Khan's too cool headed to fall, Curze was adopted by a kindly gent and was taught right from wrong, Perturabo's dad dies earlier and perti befriends Dorn... yeah... the traitors are the 1s under siege, Dorn and Leman don't fall, and finally Fulgrim jusT BOMBS THE FRICKING PLANET FROM ORBIT. oh, and the Alpha Legion are still random agents of mayhem.
