Kidge headcanon 31!!

(Fathers' day special!!!)

After getting married and having kids, Pidge noticed how Keith changed since they met: he was so kind and gentle with their kids, he never told them off, never yelled, never give them a punishment and all those stuffs. He was such a great dad, the ones who raise a kid with so much love and care, without spoiling but still giving gifts sometimes. He worked a lot with the Blades, but he always found a way to get home pretty quickly to see his kids and wife, and even if he had just came back from a mission, he would still play a lot with them, no matter how tired he was. When Pidge was working, he would be the one who was taking care of them, and even when he was training, he would stop if one of them would go to him and ask to play.

And Pidge... She was so grate for that: she married a loving gentleman who loved his children so much, so one year, she decided to do a special gift for him for what he did in all those years!

It was fathers' day, after he finished eating and helped Pidge with the dishes and the table, he was about to play with his kids again until she stopped him. He raised a eyebrow, but then she explained that she had a surprise: a family vacation in space without kids! Leaving the kids for a week was a bit heartbreaking for both, but they knew they were in their grandparents and uncles hands, also they all started school, so they were clearly old enough. Keith was a bit sad of not having them after some years with more people with him and his wife, but this was a relaxing vacation, and they really enjoyed it!

Next year, they went in space for a REAL family vacation with the kids too by the way.

Kidge headcanon 33 !

I know I made many different headcanons for kidge's last day on earth but huh... WELL ANYWAYS:

Episode 1 season 8:

Keith was watching the sunset on the head of the black lion along with his furry friend, Kosmo...

Lance came earlier to tell him about his date with Allura and of course, he was happy for them: He knew that both had feelings for each other for a while now... But that simply reminded him of how lonely he was...

He had friends... And at the moment, he had Kosmo... But being alone during his last moments on Earth for a while brought him back to his past. When his dad died, he was alone. Always. And it was okay for him now because he couldn't do otherwise... And after years, nothing had changed, apparently... Or at least, that's what he thought...

He got down from Black's head once the sun had settled... In reality, he stayed a bit longer...

He had nothing to do. Just going home in the cold desert. Plus, he had no electricity and nothing to eat for tonight... But again, it was fine for him because he couldn't do otherwise...

As he was walking in the Garrison, without a purpose, he heard some footsteps coming from the other side of the hallway... Walking directly in his direction... His gaze then met Pidge's as she stopped in front of him.

"Keith?..." she said as if it was the first time she saw him in years... "What are you still doing here?"

"Well, I was heading home now..." He sighed as Kosmo approached Pidge to get pats.

She caressed Kosmo's head with a soft smile and then raised her eyes towards Keith again; "Are you spending your last day on Earth alone?"

"Well... Yeah. Shiro is having dinner with his grandpa... So basically, It's just gonna be me and Kosmo tonight. No big deal, I guess," he admitted, sounding a bit down.

"Aw, that sucks! I heard your place doesn't have electricity either. You're gonna freeze!" she said, concerned.

"Yeah, but it's just for one night, so I'll survive," he replied in a desperate sigh.

She frowned. "How can you say that? What are you even gonna eat?"

He thought for a moment. "I have no idea... Maybe some leftovers if I can find any."

"Gosh, that sounds kinda sad," she said, her worry evident.

"Don't worry too much about it. It's just one night in my life," he reassured her.

"I'm not letting you go through this alone! Come to my place! My mom's cooking dinner tonight, and her food is amazing. Don't tell Hunk, but her cookies are even better than his!" she exclaimed with a mischievous grin.

"I don't wanna be a bother... It's a family dinner," he replied, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Who said that it was a family dinner? You're not bothering us at all. I'm sure my family would be happy to have you with us tonight. My dad used to say that we have the family we're born into and the family we choose. I guess you're part of my chosen family," she said, smiling warmly at him. "Come on, join us!"

He thought for a moment but obviously could not say no to these eyes that were staring at him... He sighed. "Fine, I'll come."

"YAY! Did you hear that, Kosmo? You're coming home with me!" she exclaimed, scratching the back of Kosmo's ear. "Oh, and by the way, you can crash at my place too. It'll be much nicer for you than going back to the desert and catching a cold before the launch..."

"Huh... I'm not sure about that..."

"Aw, come on! Just think about it and let me know later, okay? I'll quickly text my mom to let her know you're coming for dinner. We just have to wait for my dad to finish up some stuff at the Garrison before to leave."

He nodded in agreement, realizing that his plans had taken a complete 180 in less than five minutes, all because of this short, nerdy girl who he found it hard to take his eyes off of. She was actually really pretty, even if others didn't see it. He noticed the beautiful amber color of her hair, eyes, and freckles, and he found it absolutely fascinating. And not just her looks, her personality was captivating too. She had this introverted side but always stood up for herself, and she had so many other amazing qualities that it would take forever to list them all.

To put it simply, she was a smart and beautiful girl with a vibrant spirit and a huge heart. And boy, was she courageous!

How could he not admire her? Heck, how could he not ADORE her?

But despite all that, she was the Paladin he felt the least close to. They had been through a lot together, but they never really had the chance to get to know each other well. He had a unique bond with each of the other Paladins. Shiro was like a big brother to him, Lance started by being annoying but became a friendly annoyance over time (they had known each other for a while, but Keith never really minded him), and he had a few missions with Hunk where they bonded... (Keith also knew Hunk at the Garrison, but just like Lance, he had never minded before...) He even had bonding moments with Allura!

He really wanted to get to know her better. He liked her a lot and hoped to spend some time with her. But she always seemed busy, and he didn't know how to start a conversation. But now was his chance!

"Alright, my mom said you can come over for dinner and stay the night if you want," she said, putting her phone back in her pocket and looking up at him.

"That's really kind of you... But why are you doing this exactly?" he asked.

"Keith, I couldn't let you starve or freeze to death. I would be genuinely sad, especially when I know I'll be having a nice dinner in a warm house," she replied with a light giggle. "Let's go find my dad and get going."

He smiled. "Okay, let's do that."

I know that I don't post a lot lately, I'm sorry about that... I just have many things to do (and I don't have wifi until the 2 of January... Kidge headcanon 27!!

Keith and Pidge actually met a LOT of years before the Kerberos Mission. Keith's dad decided to take him to a theme park for his birthday and on the same day even the Holt decided to go, even if no one knew the other!

So Sam took a picture of Colleen and a 3 year-old Pidge in a rollercoaster for kids, and right in the backgrownd there were a 6 year-old Keith and his dad! They met and quickly became friends but never saw them again UNTIL they flew into space!

At their wedding, years later, she showed him the picture and said:" This was my first love"

He chuckled and replied: "Good to know, because it's me when I was 6"

Anaïs’ headcanons : Kidge's daughter/ Second kid...

the same people that cried the first time cried again.

Keith was mesmerized by how pretty his little princess (he started to call her that since the day he met her) was.

Kayden, her big brother, didn’t like her that much at first… But he was only 3yo.

She got many gifts from her family… Especially nonna Colleen.

Krolia also gifted her a blade and just like Kayden, Keith will give it to her when she’ll be ready.

She was crying less than Kayden when he was a newborn.

Just like she did with Kayden, Pidge filmed Keith when he first held Anaïs. The only difference is that he was now more confortable.

She sort of looked like Pidge but her hair was a bit darker and has Keith’s eyes.

Kosmo was allowed at the hospital and kept sniffing her and then licking Pidge’s face as if he was trying to congratulate her.

Colleen is very happy ; she wanted a grand-daughter so much!

Baby :

Just like her brother, She started to crawl early and was following Kosmo Around. The only difference is that she moves a bit less and sleeps a lot.

She is very VERY curious. Plus, whenever she sees something new to her, she immediatly wants to see it closer, touch it and put it in her mouth. Pidge and Keith learned to always keep an eye on her, so did Kosmo.

Once, she tried eating Kosmo’s fur. Pidge saw it ans immediatly stopped her.

She loves cuddles with her mommy and her daddy… Same with Kosmo and Kayden.

Kayden plays with her a lot, even tho he thinks she doesn’t play interesting games… ( She’s a baby, you give her a little car or a doll, she wont make sens out of it and will just put it in her mouth or throw it…)

She eats EVERYTHING except banana… She just doesn’t like it…

She also eats a LOT.

She likes watching cartoons and drawing… She’s just a baby so she doesn’t really understands the cartoons and when she draws, It doesn’t look like anything… But Pidge calls it « abstrait art » and keeps all of the drawings she does.

Once, there was a song on the TV and Anaïs tried singing even tho she can’t talk…. Pidge filmed that and it was so cute that she sent it to everyone…

She LOVES animals.

She also loves candies a bit too much…

Anaïs quickly started to try to walk… She was able to after less than a month even tho she still falls.

Her first word was « wolf ». Kayden laughed at this.

She admires her big brother and her father when they train. It makes her laugh when Kayden punches Keith.

She also likes to whatch her mommy when she works on her computer because the sound of the key-board is sort of relaxing to her.

She’s often curled up to Kosmo and asleep.

Once, she saw outside with Keith and found a racoon… She grabbed it and fortunately, the racoon didn’t hurt her…

Keith have a thousand nicknames for her ( he does for Kaiden too but I forgot to put it in his headcanons niebfvhnefv) His favorites are « princess », « baby », « Anna », « Annie », « my love » and « bunny »… Bunny is just because he thinks she’s cute and small, like a bunny…

She does drooly kisses… EW.

Kid :

She is still obsessed with animals… She once grabbed frogs and put them in her pockets… She then placed them in her room .

She also still draws a lot… « abstrait art »…

most importantly , SHE IS WAYYY TOO CURIOUS ! Now that she can talk, she asks a thousand questions, some times very useless or embarassing : « mommy, why does the lady wears a red dress ? », « Daddy, why is the baby so ugly ? » ( she said that one in front of the baby’s parents…), « Nonna, how we you do babie ? »

she gets sick often… Too often…

she started to train along with Keith and Kaiden… She learns to fight and to do many sports… She likes it a lot and she registered in a football club…

Her mother has a few jewlery and she took them to out it on her plushies…

She calls Matt « Uncle Matt-Matt ».

She is very out going ! At shcool, she’s friend with every single kids ! She’s the litteral opposit of her parents…

she climbs trees which often scare Keith and Pidge because the trees she climbs often look fragile.

She still is often found snuggled to Kosmo.

Despite her young age, she is very interested by sciences and plantes… So Pidge takes some time to explain some stuffs to her…. So does Colleen, Sam and Matt…

She likes to draw Pidge.

Keith treats her like a little princess and wants to show her how she should expect boys to treat her in the future. ( So he often buys her and Kaiden flowers, for exemple… He buys some to Kaiden too because Kaiden should know what to expect too and because he loves his son as much as his daughter )

When she discovered how meat was made, she cried and refused to meat ever again… She love animals way too much.

She and Kaiden enjoy to garden with their nonna.

Anaïs, just like her brother, loves space. So when granny Krolia is on earth, both of them beg her to take them in her ship to fly around earth.

Her room is a mess. Always.

50 years had passed. It had been 50 years since they shared their first kiss, and they had never left each other's sides.

During those 50 years, their love had only grown stronger with each passing day.

Now, she was 70.

As she lay in her bed next to her husband, Katie felt a strange sensation. Both she and her husband had been worried lately; she had been feeling weak and breathless for almost a month now, and doctors couldn't find anything wrong.

She took a deep breath and rested her head against her pillow. Keith knew exactly how she felt. He knew her so well that just one look in her eyes was enough to tell that something was wrong.

But he also knew that if he asked, she would simply answer that she was fine. So, he asked, and as expected, she said that she was okay. He insisted, and so did she.

Deciding to give up, knowing how stubborn she was but also trusting that she would confide in him later if something was truly wrong, he kissed her forehead as they wished each other a good night.

As he closed his eyes, Keith instantly fell asleep. But no matter how much she tried, Pidge couldn't.

As she grew older, it became harder for Pidge to fall asleep at night. She and Keith had lost everyone:

The first to go was Baebae, Pidge's dog. It had been complicated for her, but she stayed strong.

Then came Sam. It was years after Baebae, and it was possibly the worst day of her life by that time.

Sam was followed by Colleen, who couldn't bear losing her husband for the second time. She was an old woman who had been through so much, but her heart could not handle more. She died, drowning in sadness, and no matter how much Matt and Pidge did to save her, it wasn't enough...

After Colleen, Shiro followed. It devastated everyone, especially Keith. But with Pidge by his side, he healed faster.

Hunk died years later. A heart attack was the reason...

The only ones remaining in their lives were Lance, Matt, Krolia, Kosmo, and their kids. Some other people remained, but they were less important in their lives.

And all this kept Pidge awake at night. She remembered the old times, hurting herself by allowing her thoughts to dwell on all the happy moments. And then, she remembered that it was over, that she would never again be hugged by her father or laugh with her mother... That she would never get to hug Baebae to sleep or have nice Paladin hangouts with her friends... And, of course, she would never gossip with Allura again.

She missed Hunk's cookies and his presence when she was feeling down. She missed Shiro's advice and how reassuring he was.

She just wanted to go back in time, start everything over, and reclaim the beauty that she thought she had lost.

And she was happy with Keith. She always had been, and she felt so grateful that he was still by her side today... But she missed how they used to love each other back then, those nights when they wouldn't sleep and would share every piece of passion. She missed discovering his touch, his body; it all felt new back then, and now, it just seemed routine. She knew his touch by heart... And not that she thought it was bad, but she did think that it was better before... Because everything seemed better when they were younger.

She used to fight for peace, she used to be a model for so many people and have an important purpose. Today, she felt worthless. Just an old lady. A grandma, certainly, but then what was next?

Death. And she would feel guilty admitting that she actually waited for it every day now.

She knew that she would leave her kids behind, along with her remaining friends, her brother, and her husband.

But her kids were grown adults now, with their own families and lives that she wished she could still have. They didn't need her anymore...

As for her friends, she only really had Lance and a few acquaintances. But she rarely saw them, if ever. She called Lance often, but that was about it.

She saw Matt often. Same old Matt. And when thoughts of ending her life crossed her mind, she tried to push them away, knowing that she was his only family left.

And then there was her husband. How she loved him. He was the only reason she hadn't tried to end it herself. The only thing tormenting her now was deciding whether she wanted him to die before her or after her... Whether she would hurt him or herself.

She didn't really have a choice.

Lost in thought, her eyes closed, and she felt her body's weight growing heavier with each passing second. She understood. Summoning all her strength, she opened her eyes one last time to look at him. The only man who had ever loved her, the only man she had ever loved.

Oh, how beautiful he looked in the moonlight, she thought to herself, finding the strength to reach for his cheek...

She caressed his cheek, feeling her hand grow too heavy, and she rested it in his.

If only she could tell him how much she loved him... But she didn't want to see him cry. She didn't want him to take her to the hospital or try to "save" her.

She wanted to silently pass away in the bed where they had shared their love for years. In the room where they had once been young together. In peace.

A tear rolled down her face: she was feeling greatful in this moment to have had such a beautiful life.

And she silently hoped that she'll find him again, in another life.
