JD has tried on several occasions to flirt with Asha. Never works. JD is left baffled. Yes this is a Hazbin Hotel reference but think of that Alastor quote "Ha! No." or "Never going to happen..." That's Asha's reaction.

Asha doesn't really know how she feels about JD but she now definitely knows where Clay got his slight ego from.

Most of what Asha knows about JD is from Clay's middle child syndrome. When she met JD, she greatly looked forward to the impending family drama. She's a radio host. She lives for the tea and the chaos that comes with said tea.

So I've decided to make Adrian's final design a fox demon! Kinda got the idea because of a mix of being annoyed at the lore not feeling good enough in terms of it's relation to Adrian's demon appearance and finding the inspo in another oc that I've found who I'm obsessed with rn called Nore (creator being @beazzlebug add me please i feel the strong urge to vent about hazbin ocs 😂). I did a LOT of brainstorming after a moment of "why isn't the lore loring". I eventually came to the conclusion that Adrian being based off a fox in the afterlife fits his life and death better than being an owl.

It fits with his life because he was (and still is) a con artist. He's cunning, silver-tongued and mischievous. All of which are traits traditionally linked to foxes. Building on that, it links to his death due to how and why he was killed. He was (like Nore but I didn't know she existed at the time lmao) shot in the chest. The shooting was an act of revenge when Adrian's unchecked ambition and greed (hamartia or fatal flaw to my fellow nerds out there) finally caught up with him and he was finally caught. He was essentially hunted down, shot and left to die...like a fox hunted for sport.

Side note but red foxes look more orange and Adrian was a ginger in his human life lmao

I know it's been a while since you've heard of Adrian since I've been throwing Asha content at you all but that's because I've been refining Adrian's design and character and Asha has been gaining a lot more engagement recently.

Asha's relationship with Bruce

She's never allowed to babysit Bruce's kids. Ever.

Remember that quote from Hotel Transylvania "so what if ya cut your finger off? It's part of the fun!". That's Asha's attitude towards any child, troll or not.

Asha doesn't say anything of this out loud but she respects Bruce's parenting skills and love for his family. That's something Asha didn't experience so she thinks it's nice that Bruce's kids won't end up like her.

Her only grievance with Bruce is those meddling cheap-copies-of-the-beauty-that-is-radio podcasts. Bruce once asked her listen to one and she said:

"Ask me that again and you'll be one of the cases on those mediocre true crime podcasts."

I second this!

Just because characters have never met canonically doesn't mean they can't be shipped. As brrypiiix said, that's an incredibly uncreative view. There's such a thing as post movie, people. A ship isn't about whether or not they've met in whatever movies they're in, it's about how they would work and what their dynamic would be like if they did date. That's the beauty of shipping characters whether they're both canon or even if it's canon x oc.

Everyone ships a character with another even if the reasons aren't obvious to everyone around them. Nobody on Tumblr slaps two or more characters together and says "kiss". People take time thinking of ships and the dynamics behind them and invest so much energy and creativity into writing it or drawing it to share their joy with the internet only for others who can't control whether they type their unwanted opinions or not to bring them down.

I guess what I'm trying to say is unless a ship is blatantly problematic (which Claylex isn't) for whatever reason, shut your mouth. Nobody's saying you absolutely MUST ship everything you see so keep your opinions to yourself. Doesn't matter if it's intended to be rude or not.

I'm sorry but...Clay x Trollex? Why? Clay doesn't even know Trollex! To me and some, their ship doesn't make any sense...at all. Sure, I know people can ship whatever they like but this ship, it's a big...nah for me.

I’m gonna try and put this in the nicest way possible. Bare in mind, I’ve dealt with this sort of comment since the third movie came out. I’m sick and tired of this comment.

If you TRULY want to know why I ship this ship just look at my blog and look at the art Ive made along with the hcs I wrote about claylex. All listed under claylex tag. Easy to find and read. I wrote a lot about how I view their relationship and how it’d work. Just look if you truly are curious.

Im so glad you gave me your opinion that I didnt ask for. Im sure you feel very fulfilled. “To me and some” oh trust me I know. You and some sure like to make it known that yall dont agree or like with the ship. I get “I dont ship them” every time I post Claylex.

First off, why I ship them is due to my ability to think about how other trolls could fit Clay well as a character. That lead to me evolving how I view claylex. Limiting characters from being shipped with other characters just cause they never met is seriously the most uncreative thing ever, I’m sorry. You dont have to ship it, but dear lord let people get creative and enjoy their ships because they can in fact create entire lore of how and why the relationship works. I could go on and on about why I absolutely love claylex, but I don’t wanna waste it on a comment like this. You may have not intended for it to come out rude, but when someone comes to another who they see ships something to such an extent only to go out their way to say “I dont see it”, “I dont ship it”, “Thats a nah for me”, Like I dont WANT to make you ship claylex and I dont want to put you down for not liking it, but you are going out your way to say this about my most favorite ship that brings me so much powerful comfort. I really dont care if you dont understand it. But seriously, this goes to everyone who comments stuff like this to people who ship characters, if you comment “I dont ship them but” or “I dont ship them and here’s why” It just puts down that person who ships it. Even the ones that are meant to be compliments like “I dont ship it but your arts cute”, like why do you have to add that in? If we didnt ask just move on. You telling me you dont like the ship will NOT make me stop. So why tell me this??
