I know this is a star trek blog and I promise I’m not about to make it into some multi fandom blog, but I’ve been big into httyd and rtte recently and I have to say this because I haven’t seen this take anywhere and I’m very surprised tbh.

Ruffnut is trans, which is why she’s always mistaken for a man and why she’s so defensive about it. It’s also why Tuffnut is so quick to jump to her defence about it and doesn’t make fun of her for it when he makes fun of her for everything else.

Im not big into httyd so i just checked on the httyd 3 news & it looks like a lot of people are dunking on tuffnut for making his hair into a beard but not having any real facial hair and to that i gotta say: tuffnut trans????

Like. Probably not canon or w/e but who cares! He’s trans now i just decided! Tuffnut how to train your dragon is trans and his beard is gender affirming and thats all there is to it!
