The way I like to compare gender to concepts cis people could understand is with things like introversion vs extroversion or really anything on the meyers Briggs types. Like, my introversion is an ingrained part of me, the same as my gender, but that doesn’t mean it’s entirely set and concrete. There are ambiverts and people that the dichotomy doesn’t necessarily represent, just like gender. Just as I gain energy through alone time, i feel more myself when I’m referred to as male or have gender euphoria. I feel that as I change as a person, my introversion expresses itself differently, but that doesn’t change me being an introvert. The same goes for gender.

They're 14-16 in size and omg they are so comfortable. Will not give you a camel toe. And under armor bras that are unpadded make you look flat chested. Have never been happier in my life god bless.

imagine both the gender euphoria AND dysphoria he'd get from being captain marvel...
like one hand, yay he's a cis man!! everyone knows him as a man! no one knows he's actually a trans kid. even the GODS see him as a man, they made him biologically male! he feels right in his body for once in his life.
but on the other hand, he believes he may not ever get to look like captain marvel. and that really he's still born a female, captain marvel was a gift from the gods, but he cant really live his life forever as him.
this'd get worse as he got older, probably not looking anything like captain marvel.
cis ppl never truly can understand the very particular discomfort that comes from your friends using your preferred name extremely loudly as the teacher is slowly getting closer to your table and you start panicking cuz ur not sure if they heard
big question for fellow trans people who use binders or know anything about binder suppliers: does anybody know a good company that sells binders that zip up or fasten and can be easily undone? I’m transmasc and I have a binder from gc2b that’s basically a standard binder: one tight piece of fabric. I have sensory issues with tight clothing and also moderate claustrophobia and it freaks me out to put it on, can’t wear it without having a panic attack or a meltdown. it would be really great for me and other trans people with similar issues to have any recommendations for safe binders that have a zipper or a closure, thanks!

if you are a trans boy, especially a teenage trans boy, i wanted to say that as a trans man in their 30's, you have my deepest respects and condolences for what you may be going through right now.
it has become socially acceptable and basically online custom to bully teenage trans boys & mascs, call them cringy, or excuse misgendering them for whatever reason. people put trans boys on this pedestal of "must perform masculinity and manhood to cartoonish degrees" even though they're still children.
people make trans boys fight for their manhood before they can even be boys. i am sorry people can be so judgmental and harsh on you. you are not wrong for wanting to be a boy. you are experiencing something wonderful. it's okay if you still want to be a boy even if people have treated you poorly, or tried to make you feel bad for being a boy. there is nothing wrong with being a boy.
it's okay if you never socially transition. it's okay if you're afraid to come out because it's not safe. it's okay if you never change your outward appearance. it's okay if you try very hard to pass but struggle to. it's okay if you wear "women's" clothing and shoes, bras, makeup, etc., it's okay if you're gay and love other men. it's okay if you're scared of hrt. it's okay if you don't want surgery. it's okay if you mainly occupy girl's spaces still. people will find every reason to pick these things apart and ridicule trans boys for, but they are all perfectly fine experiences that do not make you any less of a boy. you are the one who is in control of your transition, presentation, and state of being- you should be able to prioritize your safety over the comfort of random strangers who have no impact over how you live your life.
i've been put through this too, but later in life as i came out when i was an adult. people still try to make me feel bad for identifying as a trans man, for whatever reason they have in their head to justify hatred of a trans person. i've had enough. there will never be an excuse for how people try to excuse the infantilization and abuse that trans men and trans boys face.
take care of yourselves, no matter what age you are, if you are a trans boy, man, or masc you deserve to know that other trans men care about you, especially when people are scrambling to find ways to punch down on you. there are people who suck, but there are also a lot of people who care about you. keep your chin up. you know who you are
autistic trans woman here, so I learned the etiquette like a rulebook. (also I'm in the UK, so it might be a bit different for you if you aren't)
you go to whatever thing you need (noone knows what you do on a cubicle, so don't feel like to need to wait till you need a shit before you go). try to leave an empty apace between you and any other person (but this is more of a thing with urinals)
you look at the floor or the walls. you'd usually try to avoid looking at other people too much (so just pretend you're the only person in there I guess). if you feel like it, it's standard to check yourself out in the mirror
and of course you should wash your hands. some people don't, but that's just gross

Dear transmasc folks: Your experience is valid regardless of how you might feel about clothes. Feeling less dysphoric regarding certain activities or clothing styles doesn't invalidate your feelings toward being masculine. It's essential to remember that everyone's journey with gender identity is unique, and experiencing varying levels of dysphoria is completely normal. It's totally okay to be okay with wearing feminine clothes or a bikini while still identifying as masculine. Your gender identity is about how you perceive yourself, and it's perfectly fine to feel comfortable in a variety of expressions and styles. You're beautiful and I love and support you (:
