Heaven Sent Pt.4

=================================

Previous parts: pt.3, pt.2, and pt.1. (Words: 1.8)

not proofread, oop.

des: A continuation of the on-going Cyno x femreader brothel au.

warnings: brief mentions of vomiting and motion sickness.

It's not as gross as it sounds, I swear--

=================================

Screaming fills the room. Just unadulterated screaming with your brain going ape and throwing anything you can get your hands on at the new intruder.

“H-hey, Miss! Calm down—“ the hooded figure shared your panic as they hopped off from the windowsill and onto the floor near you.

“I’m with Cyno! I mean, the general or whatever,” from the moonlight showering in, you watch as the stranger frantically pulls down their hood to reveal piercing blue eyes, and glistening tan skin. She then lifts her hands on each side of her head as a way to surrender any threat she could possibly pose to you. Once she did, her stance was stiff as she peered at you, waiting for you to calm down.

This woman in front of you was neither heard of or seen by you so naturally, you hesitated. Years of being trapped there had taught you to act so, but if she knew about Cyno and his true purpose there, then…surely, you can for a moment…believe that this strange woman is on his side.

You loosen your grip on the powder pouch you were about to whisk her way. Cautiously, you stood up from your enclosed position on the floor’s corner, and yet somehow, she still towers over you. You gulped, still anxious but willing to hear her out.

She notices and exhales, gladdened to see your steady cooperation. A cheeky smile making its way on her features as she explains, “…I didn’t mean to scare you back there…”

She lets her arms down, “I’m actually the backup.” She says as she unveils her hair.

“The plan didn’t go exactly as planned.”

“How so?” you asked meekly, your reserves still held.

“Things escalated more than intended and..that’s why there was a scene down there,” she glanced at the closed door of the room, likely referring to the main hall where the madam threw a fit minutes ago.

“Yeah, that had to be solved so I stepped in, yadda-yadda and arrived here just when you finished that bastard up.” she dusted her hands off and gazed at your stunned form.

“Hm, you’re definitely stronger than you look.” You tilted your head, visibly questioning what she meant by that. She chuckles, a glint of something unreadable in her eyes.

“I don’t mean anything by it, it’s just a rare thing to see something as strong and equally stunning as yourself.” Something like wonder and admiration sparks at her glance towards you. Having been genuinely complimented, your face felt a little warm, “Thank you,”

She nods at you and shifts towards the window, letting her dark hair with streaks of yellow blow with the wind.

“It’s so stuffy in here…I don’t know how you guys do it,” she pops her head out the window for a quick view of the surrounding area before turning to you, asking with a no-good grin on her face, “Shall we go?”

Her hand reaches out to you and in a heartbeat, you would’ve taken it without sparing your mind the time to weigh the consequences. Keyword, would’ve.

“…I can’t.” You replied in reluctance. Your eyes that held new found spirit lost it as soon as it came, dropping down to the floor below when you can’t forget what place you’re in. Who holds you here. With that, even your will can’t tear down this prison. Still powerless, four walls of a room is enough to keep you.

“If she finds out I’m gone, with the room left like this–”

“It’ll be quick, so don’t worry about it.” she clasps at your hand, tugging at you slightly, “We’ll be late if we stay any longer.”

“Late to what–” Not allowing you to finish, she pulls you in and holds you at the waist flush against her body, then leaps off from your window to another roof with you securely wrapped to her.

“You’ll have to come to find out, Miss” her smirk concerns you as she hops from building to building, your yelps accompanied by it. As an attempt to shut yourself up, and from fear, you bury your face into the corner where her neck and shoulder meet.

How embarrassing…

To salvage some dignity, you try to distance yourself. But with a quick glimpse from over her shoulder of the ground far down, you decided your dignity wasn’t worth the risk of a heart attack. Then proceed to shut your eyes and hold onto her tighter. Ah, your poor heart can’t handle this much stress in a night.

She, on the other hand, resisted to tease you. Consider it mercy or pity, she still had manners.

“Ah, shucks.” She utters, having seemed to remember them. A bashful expression taking over that proud face she has, as her smirk is replaced with an apologetic and awkward line of a smile. “Sorry that I didn’t tell you my name yet,” you frowned into her neck, “The name’s Dehya. A pleasure to meet ya,”

That would’ve been more appreciated several rooftops ago.

“Likewise.” You had to whisper to her ear. The loud and rushing wind that passed you both, competed with your voice so there was no other way to respond, at least that’s what you tell yourself at your precarious position.

“And yours, Miss?” she queried, after your less expressed response.

“Find out when we get there,” you shot right back at her. She laughed into the air, and you had to admit, it was nice to hear something so friendly and without intent. It was refreshing as the nightly breeze, finally away from the brothel for what felt like decades of caged there.

Her movement came to a stop, which was good for you because you were starting to feel sick. You don't need to add throwing up on someone you just met to a very tall tower of things to be embarrassed about. She loosens her hold on you as you try to find balance in your dizzy stupor. Others noticed your arrival and a certain voice rushed to you,

“Y/n!” Surely, it was the one you trusted most in this world. A certain silver haired man came into view, “Dehya, is she hurt anywhere?”

“From what I can tell, she isn’t injured. But you should definitely have her checked by your doctor friend.” Dehya held you by your shoulder as you slowly regained your balance but that would be quickly snatched away too.

“I’ll take her then,” Cyno hooks an arm under your knees and lifts you with a hand holding your back, carrying you bridal style, which grants you just about enough embarrassment for a lifetime. Dehya merely stood there, taken-aback by his shift in demeanor. Watching as you were carried by the usually unmoved general and mused at the sight.

“General, I’m fine…you can put me down,” you spoke quietly, your voice only heard by the man himself. Though you doubted that fact as he gave no response.

“General?” you called out, and he finally comes back from his thoughts.

“It’s better to be sure, so…” he felt tense around you and yet, “…please.” he pleaded, his voice the softest you’ve ever heard of him. He doesn’t want to appear harsh, not right now, not to you. Especially not to you.

Sensing this concern, you had to oblige. Even though there was no need to go through the trouble, it would grant him peace of mind. When you look at him now, holding you this close, he looks just as sleepless as yourself.

“Alright then.” you gave in and allowed yourself to be carried in his arms. “I’ll take the check-up,”

There really is no need, though…you thought as the foreign feeling in your stomach appeared and had no sign of going away.

To distract yourself, you take a well-deserved look at the environment around you. It’s a village with a rustic appearance that hones the traditional structure often seen in the desert. Given the time, there weren’t any locals lingering amongst the well-lit streets at this hour.

Save for a lady with blue hair in the hue of the midnight sky. She noticed your company in eyes of two different colors; one is a blue shade akin to the sky at late dawn, and the other yellow like the setting sun. As she approached you, her demeanor held the same air that this place had impressed on you, which was nothing short of warmth and hospitality.

“Good evening, I humbly welcome you to Aaru Village.” She greeted you with her smile oddly bringing you a sense of comfort.

“Candace, where’s Tighnari?” He asked straightforwardly, with a name you hadn’t heard before.

“He’s residing at the chief’s house,” She answers promptly, her eyes never leaving your form as worry becomes her. “Oh my, you look exhausted."

Her brows knit as she thought of the most natural course of action, “I’ll run you a bath.” The lady named Candace curtly excuses herself before you could oppose it, presumably to carry out what she said.

“General, I can’t possibly stay here for that long,” you said, watching the lady go off to do the task in vain, a feeling of remorse coming onto you for not trying to stop her.

“That will be taken care of.” He responded instantly, for if he were more honest, said fact for your concern almost slipped his mind. The aids that came back after Dehya entered your room reported the incident to him. Which left no room for anything else in his mind but ever-growing guilt.

“Then what about–”

“I’ve already seen to it. He’s safe.” A shaky breath leaves your chest.

"Rest assured, you've…done enough."

All of a sudden, as if gravity itself was lifted from you, a burden you hadn't noticed on you had been taken away. Giving you a relief you never knew was being held from you.

"It's been so long since I've seen the night sky from outside there." You spoke from a depth that only came out with the moon. A thousand nights of gazing at the same sky from the window, longing for a better life, and now–

You are breathing in it. Basking in freedom, it feels strange but does wonders to your heart, scarred with hardship.

"This certainly won’t be the last…” He utters, almost like a declaration. Maybe he hadn’t intended it for you, but it made your heart twist in an unexpected way. A mark to a promising beginning.

Thoughtlessly, you smiled and rested your head on his chest. Tired from the previous stress and emotional labor you had undergone. You finally allowed yourself this slice of peace, taking the time to appreciate the cool caress of the night breeze.

Thank you –was what you wanted to say but you could no longer fight the fatigue and felt your eyes grow heavier. Your consciousness eventually sinks into this natural and inviting warmth.

The warmth in question, Cyno, – could only move ever so swiftly because one, you had passed out on him, please don't wake up because of him. Two, oh archons no, you passed out on him, you need help! Does this mean you’ll die? Was he going to die? Possibly, at least his racing heart had that much to say about it.

=================================

A/N: The plot's getting a BBL, by which I mean the plot thickens, which also means potentially longer chaps. :>

As always, thank u for ur patience. <3

(It srsly helps with my current character development era, we love to see it).

Till again :)

Heaven Sent pt. 3

Heaven Sent Pt. 3

================================================

Previous parts: Part 1 and part 2.

Not proofread, oop [1.8k words]

des: A third addition to my ongoing FemReader x Cyno brothel series.

warnings: light drug usage, brief violence, and choking (#notkinky ofc).

Don't worry y'all! it's not as heavy as it looks. This series will have a good ending :))

================================================

Before he could stand up and blast his friend for being tardy, the general had already entered, and the air around him was far from pleasant. So, he decided to cast aside his previous words of banter in favor of the matter at hand.

"You're later than our scheduled time, did something come up? How is she?" He queried and was glad to have assessed him earlier. There was certainly malice, with an aura that only matched the one that led the Mahamatra.

An aggression to unjust acts.

"Nari,” he spoke, voice laced in apprehension. “I feel sick to my core."

He says, clearly upset as he sat himself at a round table in the room, folding his arms as he did. Upon hearing that bit from him, Tighnari's ears knowingly laid flat on his head —there was no medicine he could concoct that would remedy this. A simple hearing’s out would usually suffice, but this was no ordinary occasion as a friend needing to vent.

He sat across him, ready for a debriefing of the operation and more importantly, the root of his friend’s anguish.

"Today, I gave her the orbs that you made for me."

"And?"

"She will do it, the task. But I can't shake the feeling that if…if only I…" Cyno halts, ashamed to say the next chain of his thoughts. Luckily, there was a botanist that could, and it made him cringe to see the general at a loss in his convictions. He grumbled at the sight,

"If only what? You could do better?" Without meaning to, he tsk' at the poor fellow in front of him. This was no time for self pity.

The fennec man sighs, rubbing his temple with his fingers before glancing back at his friend. It’s been a long day for the both of them, and so, he advises the obvious to him,

"Stop being harsh on yourself, Cy." Tighnari leans into the table, trying to beckon the man in front of him to reason.

"Now that you know what you have to do, it makes no sense to mope about it."

"I understand that much.” Cyno replies, though his expression suggested his feelings remained. “It’s just that I can't help thinking that this could have been prevented…"

Tighnari raises his brow, "What could've been prevented?"

"Any of this."

For once he remains silent because it’s true. There were obviously variables that were within the Mahamatra’s control, but sometimes, just sometimes, it so happens to slip past them at a blink of a moment. In the end, there’s just some things that can’t be prevented, even if he tried. That’s just the truth.

Now how could he convey that to someone as upright as Cyno?

Perhaps not…

Even so—There is still hope to right what’s been wronged.

Tighnari recalls the times Cyno had mentioned her, the woman in the brothel. The fennec man figured that she's the hope in this equation, well, more so in his equation with how the general openly fretted.

"Are you worried about her?"

"I am but…not as much as I was expecting to be.” Very slightly, Tighnari notices the change in the air from the way he spoke of her just as he always has from previous rendezvous.

“She's strong."

Cyno’s body finally relaxed after relentlessly sitting firm and uptight in his seat. Allowing his back to lay on the backrest, his gaze expressed that his mind was somewhere else, far away. As eager as the botanist is, he chose to withhold his own curious observations of him for another time.

For now, it'd be best to just let themselves ease up after an eventful day. Tomorrow brings a new set of challenges.

“Let’s believe in her then, for all our sakes.” Cyno hummed in agreement and sighed at the moon.

The following evening, everything had been set in motion. You had personally asked the women working tonight’s shift to leave the target be, so that he could be locked on you alone, –and sure enough, he came by.

He bore a seemingly plain looking face. A smile from him would be as inviting and hospitable as any vendor on main street, no one would be the wiser to know that he comes to a place like this when night falls, or that he would be the culprit to many heinous things in the deep underground of the desert. Not that you needed Cyno’s information to know that he’s scum. But if you were still somehow not sold, then that smug grin and cockish air to him would’ve done it for you. For now, that attitude is welcomed. You knew right away how to get this type of person under your will.

“A drink, my lord?” You kneeled to his side, offering the drugged chalice with lidded eyes that looked through your lashes. The man above you snickered, enjoying your ignorance.

“I’m no lord, my dear.” He passed a dark chuckle that made your skin crawl. “Just a man with heavy pockets.”

At plenty of others’ disposal. You wanted to say, regret becoming you for not spitting in his drink.

Fortunately, that did not last long because with all guard down, this gullish man took it and chugged it in a gulp.

With his average body, the drug was taking effect by how his eyes started to daze.

Here’s my cue.

Instantaneously, you feigned being flustered by glancing away. Tucking the strands of hair that escaped behind your ear, showing off your prettily blushed cheeks as you do.

“Ah…I’m sorry, sire…I noticed the quality of your clothes and assumed so,” you lean in, pressing a gentle hand on his thigh and your warm perfumed breath hits his neck,

“H-how could you know…the wi..ser? Hah..a..sit with me.” His words slurred as he struggled to stay awake.

“Of course, sire.”

A few teasing touches later and he was dragging you to a room, but not just any room, though. It was a room furthest from the main hall so noise wouldn’t be heard, and a wide window showcasing the waste land. Perfect for anyone to just climb into and abduct someone. Honestly, you had to pat yourself on the back for getting this room all to yourself at short notice.

The job wasn’t done just yet though. You still had a bumbling bastard to deal with. He was almost out of it, so you coaxed him to rest his head on your lap. Once you heard heavy snoring rolling in, you pinched his cheek just a bit to check if he was truly asleep. When all you got in response was an increased volume of snoring, you dropped your infatuated facade and shoved his head off your lap.

You grabbed a wet cloth from the corner of the room and wiped the areas he made contact with, then threw it at his face. You then hang up the green colored shawl, signaling to Cyno’s aids hiding nearby that the target is ripe for the taking.

As you waited for minutes but it felt like hours, a shrill scream broke from the quiet ambiance and echoed down to your room. It startled you to say the least, but your uneasiness didn't subside because the scream had evolved to shouting.

Carefully, you moved to the locked door and pressed an ear to it. From what you've gathered of muffled voices, it seems to be a one-sided argument between the Madam and a client.

You sigh, there was nothing to worry about after all.

"Y-you…ungrateful wench...!" Your breath got caught in your throat as the horror of the man's hand on your ankle gripped you to the point of pain. Out of instinct, you kicked his nose with all your might, a small crack and pained groan emitted from him, and momentarily released you to hold the injured area.

You dash to the corner of the room where you tucked your things as the man crawled to you on his forearms, his lower body likely still numb from the drug.

"Y-you did something, didn't you?!" He manages to lunge for your leg and knock you down to the ground with him.

You can't scream for help. Whether that be the fact that if you did, you'd be as good as dead once the man tells her what you did, or the fact that it would be fruitless to cause no one would be able to hear you. Not when you purposefully picked the furthest room, and especially not when there was loud arguing going on.

So, you had to fight for your own. Continuously kicking your other leg to his face. Hoping to buy you time.

But for what?

How long will it take for them to show up?

Like always, and for many times more, no one will help you.

You were doomed from the start.

No.

Your mind spared a moment of clarity in the midst of all the negativity clouding it, and in that split second, a chance was thought of.

Your hand dived for something tucked in your things. Your hand searched and searched while your heart beat fights with panic. The man is up to your waist now, clawing at you until finally, your fingers brush against that familiar material. You grasp the orbs and pull it out from the sack.

I'm not helpless now.

With the orbs in the tight of your hand, you reach for the green cloth that hangs at the window and wrap it at the man's neck, tightening it in a chokehold. The man instinctively places his hands at the cloth, trying to pull away from the sudden loss of air.

Taking advantage of the moment, you knee him at his stomach, weakening him enough to roll yourself atop of him.

You then release the cloth briefly for him to gasp for air, –and only for your hand to shove the orbs in his mouth. You clasp onto his mouth with every bit of adrenaline strength granted you.

He, however, fought to swallow them so you quickly knee him in the middle where it's little. He winces and tries to gasp at the pain contracting his abdomen, but he ultimately intakes the drug. You release his mouth from your grip and he urgently coughs in between his gasps for air. He knocked on the floor harshly as his body once again tingled into numbness.

He tries to get up again, but with the lingering numbness from earlier still in effect, and the fresh dosage he just had, he succumbed to another slumber.

You push him away from you and back yourself to the corner, trying for the life of you to calm down your own adrenaline. No matter the method, you failed to compose as your breaths were still coming in like waves. While you did, your mind was replaying the moments fresh of passing.

Your eyes solely on the unconscious man in front of you.

In fact, you were so focused on him that you hadn't noticed the hooded figure sitting at your window, who also witnessed the last minute of your ordeal.

"You handled that pretty well." Another voice spoke suddenly into the room.

Treasure (nonbinReader x Gojo)

Des: (this takes place around the time Geto and Gojo are still in High School, reader is also their classmate)—So reader is a softie for only Gojo. The man catches on and instantly, he’s down bad lmao.

-A bit ooc but he gets a little jealous and possessive so are we rlly upset abt it???

Apx. 1.05k words

==============================================

Girls want to be with him, guys too, (well most want to be like him). He’s just the pinnacle of sorcerer excellence in the Jujutsu world. Ordained at birth for greatness and effortlessly powerful, Gojo Satoru truly was at the top of the world.

Then there you were, a bright eyed classmate, no doubt admiring him like the rest of them from a distance. He noticed you past the crowds and thought to be charitable by coming up to you, waiting to see your thrilled reaction to him coming your way.

But in much contrast to what he’s used to, and to his greater curiosity, you all but smiled. Greeting him politely with, “Hello Gojo.”

You were clearly delighted to see him but it felt different, somehow…and oddly enough, he was speechless. He quickly uttered out a reply and trailed around campus with you for a bit. You both get to talking about mundane things (as mundane as they can be with the subject being with Gojo), and he’s come to get a good picture of you.

Sure, you admire him but not at all for the reasons he anticipated. Not for the power, wealth, status, fame, achievements…it almost drove him mad as he questioned the cause for that little twinkle in your eye, and not to mention that oh so softness that you always addressed him with.

During empty periods outside of class, he’d go look for you. Bored and wanting something or someone to add a little kick into the routine he was sickly getting used to. Sat alone on a bench, your legs laced on the pavement of the roof, the fence in your view while you listened to music on the bench. Admiring how the coming winds blew the scenery before you, refreshing your dazed brain from those stuffy classes.

Gojo smirks and leans next to your ear, tapping on your shoulder and startling you when you turn to see his face so suddenly close to yours. You jolt back, your headphones nearly falling off your shoulders as you scold him about scaring you like that again.

The man grins then laughs, taking a seat at your side to inquire about your whereabouts. You amuse him and answer all of his questions, normal and nonsensical ones.

Until finally, he lands on the one thing that he’s been wondering every time he sets his sights on you.

“Why do you do that?

“Hm? Do what?” You tilt your head, confused as to what he could be referring to. He sighs and leans into the backrest of the bench, rethinking his words.

“You know, that thing—where you’re just..all soft on me. I don’t really see you doing that with anybody else, so why me?”

He asks, leaning on the palm of his hand to peek at you through his shades, his blue eyes piercing you ever so slightly. You’re flustered at the spot, caught red handed by your special treatment for him. You take a moment to  mull over it, trying to figure out the reason for your subconscious demeanor towards him.

“I think it’s because..” you pondered, following your train of thought, “you seem like this larger-than-life kinda guy. You look like you’re having fun too, but at the same time, it’s like you’re all by yourself. I just thought that maybe…you needed to be treated with extra care..or something.” You chuckled sheepishly, embarrassed at your wording.

“I don’t know, does that sound weird?”

Gojo stares stunned at you. In awe, he can only manage to say, “No, not at all.”

“ It feels nice, actually.”

Perhaps this empty feeling is something more than just boredom. When his adoring fans are gone, and he and his best friend separate for the day, there’s only him in between. There’s always been that saying of how lonely it gets at the top. Is that why you cared so much? Bother to amuse him and his antics, never swooning too easily to his teasing, always somehow prepared when he forgot or needed something, it’s you. You were always there…holding out a gentle hand to him without asking for anything.

And when he looks at you for why, you just laugh. Walking in front of him like what you do is nothing much. But it means so much, —so much to him.

Soon, he finds himself actively seeking you out when he can. Growing clingy and taking advantage of that soft spot you’ve got for him. He doesn’t realize how much he craves having your eyes on him until Geto comes around. Stopping in to say hi, and getting more acquainted with you, the person that has Gojo on his feet all day.

Geto flashes a wolfish smile your way, knowing it wouldn’t set him off but definitely make him bite the inside of his cheek. Pettiness was growing by the moments you spend laughing and chatting with his best friend rather than with him. Quite frankly, he was confused as to who to call a traitor, Geto for playing with him like this, himself for throwing his dignity out, or to you, for making him throw it. Ah, this was all your fault…this icky feeling filling him from the pit of his stomach.

In the middle of your conversation, he abruptly takes your wrist in his hand and drags you away from him. Turning around to throw a glare at Geto’s laughing form as you questioned him for his suddenness.

“Gojo, what’s the matter? Why’d you drag me here?” You asked, eyeing him in worry and looking at the wrist that was held by him. Now how was he going to explain that he simply didn’t like how you were smiling at someone like Geto, someone arguably second to him in rank. The man could easily compete for your attention and if he’s not careful, win over that tender spot reserved in your heart. The spot that’s his.

“Gojo?” You called repeatedly, tugging at his sleeve. Gods, he hadn’t realized how much he adored hearing his name fall from your lips.

Without warning, the man in front of you swiftly shoves a lollipop in your mouth. It’s your favorite Chupa flavor. You hummed contently and eyed him in wonder,

“I just wanted to give you that. It’s for taking good care of me.” He pats your head, smiling to himself and dragging you alongside him in the setting sun, “Now, let’s walk you home.”

He assures himself that he’ll make you his one day. But before then, he needs to make sure that everyone knows that he treasures you as much as you treasure him.

Hi coming here to be serious once.

If you didn’t know, multiple Eng VAs from Genshin Impact are coming out about the fact they haven’t been paid—literally one of them being Paimon, the character with the most voice lines in the game.

I really want to urge people to support the Eng VAs going through this stuff and potentially going homeless because of lack of pay.

If you want more information, here’s Tomo’s VA (Twitter Thread) and Paimon’s (Tiktok) explaining the situation. Corina (Paimon’s VA) in particular has not been paid for their work since December 2022

It’s unknown if this is the fault of Hoyoverse or the Eng recording studio company, Formosa but please spread awareness n support these folks

In addition, voice actors are indeed included with the SAG-AFRTRA. Although Genshin is NOT Union, it should be in order to prevent people from not getting paid in a timely manner.

So with that being said. How can you help? Well the biggest way actually is

Stop supporting voice AI

On TikTok there have been many trends stealing Eng VAs to say whatever. Alhaitham’s and Zhongli’s seem the most popular within the Genshin realm, which again is not okay. One VA in particular, Erica Lindback, Futaba’s from Persona 5, expressed her discomfort any was send so much hate she deactivated Twitter.

Genshin’s own Erika, Erika Harlacher-Stone, who plays Venti, also discribed her discomfort with AI and people stilling her voice to say whatever and was met with a lot of hate.

Don’t interact with it. Don’t support it. These are people, not just characters

And finally If this push for unionization goes through for Genshin, support it. Support them. Their skill and acting gives life to the character we love so much.
