my struggle with art lately

so small update I am struggling to figure out where I want to go with my art and where i could take it because the mediums I am interested in directly clashes with each other. I love comics like calvin an hobbes using creative ways to tell a story with loving characters and BEAUTIFUL backgrounds I love beautiful highly rendered works of art that would make your jaw drop at how detailed the image is and I love silly animations and comedic stuff and the idea of even making a story with it

the problem:

-most webcomics nowadays suck because its just authors self insert "Relatable" unfun shit that I don't want to be a part of. (and you are VERY limited by the medium). I don't want to add yet another crappy bland comic to the internet. -highly rendered works of art are amazing but it is not reasonable to be able to make a story with it whether its a comic or an animation because I am not made of time and money. -animations are great but animating alone is hard even if you have already considered character design, video editing, and the oppressive hand of corporate youtube. so I am kind of in a creative rut right now. No idea how anyone can help i am just struggling with some kind of brain paradox.

I don't want to block talented artists just because they don't have enough common sense to properly tag their post. every time I get on I have to play the "Don't make eye-contact" game when I just want to look at villainous fan art. You have just as much right to make smut art as much as you want. You have that right and I have no power to stop you. BUT: please let me fucking consent to this. thank you in advance.

i just found out i am allergic to almost all grains and its been hell for me and i mean ALL grains. wheat, barley, corn, rye, you name it. literally the only thing safe for me is rice. and NOBODY knows that there is a huge difference between "wheat allergy" and "gluten free" so absolutely nothing is easy or cheap to eat. I know this is a joke post but i would absolutely LOVE a tv show about people making allergy friendly foods. Hell it would probably raise awareness to allergies in general since NO ONE SEEMS TO THINK ALLERGIES ARE REAL FOR SOME REASON

cooking show but the judge is just a random kid with autism related food issues. no one can figure out what criteria they use to judge "good food" from "bad food" least of all the judge themself.
