guys trust me i have special insider info, they’re gonna be a Duo in season 3

while we are here, might I suggest the idea that christopher the cube, who's power is to strike paralysing fear/dread into people, is the one causing all these fantasies and hallucinations to the hargreeves in hotel oblivion as a way to break them down?

additionally, here are two klaus centered concepts from this that won't leave my head:

1. christopher puts klaus in a reality where dave is still there alive with him. its good and great untill he senses a sort of dread. then he realises there's something to dave that's quite off. his smile isn't as crooked, his favourite things have changed, the memories he has with klaus are different, he's pushing klaus to do things he's not comfortable with (in reality this is just christopher trying to get information out of him to use against him and his family). he finally realises its all an illusion and fights back, which ends with his laying a fatal blow to fake dave, accidentally crushing christopher in the process and destroying him. now he has the death(??? ig idk he's a cube tho) of a sparrow and the image of killing the love of his life hes still mourning on his hands :')

bonus: when he strikes such fatal blow, he accidentally unleashes some of the powers he hasn't unlocked yet, so yeah, he also has to deal with which I'm sure is going to be FUN.

2. klaus' entire life and his relationship with his powers has revolved around fear. its one of the biggest reasons he has grown a distaste for his powers. additionally, with all the loss he's faced, he is also full of mourning and regret, so the events of his life so far haunt him as well. therefore, he is the only one to actually defeat/break down christopher, for when christopher tries to paralyze klaus in fear, it actually does jack shit to him honestly. and everyone is surprised but he's quite nonchalant (to a worrying degree) about it, because what is already more frightening/haunting than the life klaus already has lived? (this one is very concerning somebody pls get him some help)

what if while everyone hallucinates of something TERRIBLE at the hotel, klaus is living his best life with dave and believes it’s REAL and his story for s3 is pure fluff AND THEN HIS SIBLINGS PULL HIM OUT OF IT
