I love how there's really good representation in the dishonored games but it's really subtle and hidden unless you actively look for it, because in reality it really doesn't matter. we know daud is asexual, but his actions and his remorse and guilt are more important aspects of his character. we know billie is a disabled lesbian but it's irrelevant because we know her as a powerful badass with huge potential. it's heavily implied that aramis stilton and luca abele's father were lovers but it's not as important of a character aspect as his kindness and compassion for the miners, his struggle to his wealthier position through hard work or the prejudices he faced by the aristocracy. corvo was implied to have faced racism and certainly classism. it's implied emily is bi or pan since wyman's gender is never specified. it's likely that delilah, breanna and most of the other witches are lesbians/wlw.

there's every colour of the rainbow in this series and it's amazing that it's there but IMO it's even more amazing how these aspects are naturally woven in to the characters' designs and doesn't detract at all from their accomplishments or abilities or personalities

It would seem that Basic Glitches by Eleventyseven turns three years old today. I stumbled upon this album in January 2020 and it was sort of life-changing? Put words to things I had been feeling for years but couldn't explain. Fear The Fire and Letterman Jacket in particular meant a lot to me at the time and I still love them. Thank you Matt Langston for making music that made me feel less alone in a time of isolation.
