this mod adds a new interaction "ask to learn how to kiss" in four moods with three different and new animations. (the video in the title is an animation from flirty or confident mood)

the idea: your sim asks a friend to teach how to kiss. yes, I probably read too much fanfictions

the interaction will appear only if your sim is:

teenager

youngadult

only in moods:

flirty

confident

playful

dazed

only

if you have reached the "good friends",

if you are not related,

if you are not dating or married yet.

I made the animations based on the game interactions. they are all similar, just with different accents. kissing animation with a flirty and confident moods:

you will find the action in the category "affection" in romance.

moodlets will appear for both sims and they will match the mood.

romance will be added only during the flirt&confident and dazed interaction, but all three actions will cause jealousy.

The Sims 2 Inspired UI for The Sims 4

After making my own UI override, I've been itching to look back in time and try to recreate The Sims 2 UI in TS4, and here it is!

I tried to capture the look & feel as best as possible, so I hope you can enjoy this mod and reminisce a bit c:

General Info

PC: 1.105.345.1020 / Mac: 1.105.345.1220 Older game versions will not work with this mod.

UI overhaul in the style of The Sims 2's UI.

Over 500+ additional icons recolored for CAS & BuildBuy!

Sims 2 style cursor recolors.

Most text are kept in their original color, though they might get changed/updated down the line.

To install:

// Main mod

Download & extract the zip file within your Mods folder.

Install the latest UI Cheats Extension mod and make sure it loads after the Sims 2 UI mod. Current version needed: v1.40

// Extras

Loading screen: download only one loading screen file. Available in: 4:3 - 16:9 - 16:10 aspect ratio.

Opening screen: file to replace the intro TS4 screen. Choose the file that pertains to your game language.

TS2 Cursor: recolored TS4 cursor to match with TS2's cursor. Unfortunately, some cursors are missing their recolors (rotate cam & grab+arrows in CAS).

EA Notif: optional file if you prefer to keep the notification in its original color scheme.

✒️ Some animations just look... bad. There are a few solutions for this but I've chosen the simplest and most versatile - animation overrides! <insert magicky hand gestures here> Are you amazed? Yes, yes you are!

📦 Two overrides are currently available for female sims (and feminine sims if you give AXGW a spin when it releases). They replace two standing idles that suffer from the smile shown below when the sky is awake and the mood is Fine because holy !@#$, does that look bad:

💬 You can thank @serawis for this releasing now instead of Later™. I had a scroll through a few of your Tumblrs following the positive response I got for the BUGFIX, encountered the above post, inquired if it was still desired, et voila - a mod is born. More are planned, eg. male and masculine sim's stand idles are very bland. If I can find replacements, I will replace one or two of them. I could literally replace everything with the cute new Lovebug animation and have everyone just doing hand hearts for eternity <snickers sinisterly> but alas, maybe for my own game only.

⏳ P.S.: Don't expect too many more of these too soon. After AnimXGenWear's initial release, I want to override all of BG CAS. I was supposed to years ago. I intend to do it in stages because BG CAS is the largest. I'll tackle the worst offenders first, including all the things that need their Randomization removed. However, if you've noticed any vanilla animations that look like they deserve the "huzzah" treatment, take a pic and share it with me. I will take a look and see if I can find a replacement.
