Keith's flush only brightened, burning down his neck and across his ears. His pupils dilated, then constricted to mere slits. He quickly scampered to the door and unlocked it, grin spreading. If they were going to be bold tonight, why not be bold?

Shiro's smile was likely bright enough to dim the lights of the whole of the ATLAS in that moment, though inebriated, he was entirely coherent. "It won't be anything fancy, of course," he stammered slightly, laughing at himself. All of his nervousness felt ridiculous in that moment.

"I can see if Hunk can make something special for us, though. Do you have any preferences?"

He tried to focus on Keith's face, but the room was starting to sway. Maybe he had had too much to drink. Dinner would have to wait until another night.
