Keith's flush only brightened, burning down his neck and across his ears. His pupils dilated, then constricted to mere slits. He quickly scampered to the door and unlocked it, grin spreading. If they were going to be bold tonight, why not be bold?

"Yeah," Keith gasped out a breath, bracing his hands on his knees for a moment. He'd been running and it felt like the room was spinning. Everything was far too hot. He rolled his shoulders upon standing up straight, their face flushed a faint red. "You know I never oppose sleeping in your pod, te'em."

"Is it...like, uncomfortably warm in here to you?"

Curtis laid his head back against the back of the couch and let go of the breath he'd been holding for what felt like hours. The day melted away as he melted into the couch and the warm cup of coffee in his hands. He smiled knowingly and reached out to grab Shiro's hand as he passed.

"C'mere...rest with me a minute," he cooed up at him. "We can watch your favorite mooooovieeee~"

Keith flushed bright red, but returned the kiss with passion, grinning between them. "Shiroooo~"

Keith tensed slightly at the sudden touch, but, upon realizing who it was he relaxed into it. "Hey, Taka," he purred out, nuzzling his head back against the point of contact. "What's got you affectionate, you big kitty?"

Keith hummed at the affections, a deep shade of red dusting itself across pale cheeks. His hand came to rest on Shiro's at his hip, keeping it there, the other resting on the other paladin's arm.

"You're always running around my mind, Taka," he purred out, slowly moving to turn in Shiro's arms so they could be face to face.

Pokes Keith’s rear. “Happy birthday month, baby.”

Keith jumped slightly, grinning at Shiro. He'd been in high spirits the pat few weeks. "Thank you, Taka." The shorter of the two spun round and gently grabbed Shiro's collar, pulling him down into a quick, chaste kiss.

Keith smiled even brighter at that, energy absolutely bubbling over as he practically bounced on his heels. "I'll think of something, gorgeous. Though any time spent with you is perfect." The paladin wrapped his arms around Shiro's waist, looking up at him with mischief filled eyes, pupils barely slits.

"I'm gonna rock your world, Takashi~"

Keith's body arched against him, that same smile never leaving his face. "You just have to relax~!" He winked, leaning up on his toes and kissing Shiro again. He had a devious little plan brewing in the recesses of his mind. They leaned their forehead on Shiro's chest and took in his presence, his scent, his calming aura.

"I'm sure you'll like it~"

Slides Keith a coffee.

Tired eyes stared at the mug for a moment before dragging up to Shiro with a smile. "Good morning, Shiro... thank you for the coffee."

"Slept okay. How about you?" Keith sipped the coffee, letting the warmth of it wash over him. He'd abandoned his holopad for the moment, opting to focus on the coffee and Shiro.

"Just the basics, train a little, meditate with Red...I really wanna see what kind of potential I can unlock there."

Shiro sat down with his holopad and crossed his ankles, firing it up so he could begin wading through the day's emails and documents.

"Did you sleep well? What have you got planned?" he asked.

Keith snickered, holding up note 6. "You found them all! Your surprise is a home cooked meal of your choice, I'll make it myself." He had been taking cooking lessons from Hunk and was rather proud of the progress he'd made.

He'd grown quite fond of pulling little pranks on Shiro here and there. He'd have to keep this one in mind for when they returned to earth and had peace.

Keith was busy putting sticky notes around the ATLAS, grinning to himself. Each one had a number on it 1 through 10, all but the number 6. He then placed one at the helm where Shiro stood, snickering to himself. It read: Find all the numbers and I'll give you a surprise.

It took time Shiro didn't necessarily have to search for and locate the little pieces of paper Keith had left for him, but he was determined, and wanted to find out just what Keith had in store for him.

About an hour later, he appeared on the bridge in front of Keith, waving all of them in his face. This was something he'd made himself available for, even though he had only just finished up his work for the day and had stowed his PADD in his backpack. No training, no food, other than a snack to tide him over— his brain was on high alert, but foggy after having completed this task.

"Hey. What are these for, anyway?" he asked, blinking.

I can still see it, all those memories, all those timelines... they haunt me. It haunts me knowing what could have been, what might have been, what's going to be...

Keith jolted slightly, not expecting anyone to sit down with him, but seeing that it was Shiro, he relaxed almost immediately. "Finished everything for the day, and really don't feel like training." He laid the holopad off to the side and curled his legs up to his chest. "You still workin'?"

That glint in his eyes went straight to Keith's heart. He scooted closer, still curled up in a tight ball. "How about you and I relax together, hm?" There was a similar gleam to his eyes, though likely a bit more devious. "We can do whatever you'd like, Ta- Shiro."

Keith's eyes, sparking with desire, trailed over Shiro before returning to his face, half lidded, pupils blown. "How about we head back to one of our pods and I take good care of you? You look like you've had a rough day."

What calms you down? "Cooking, if you can believe it. I love being in the kitchen. I don't cook very often because I don't really want the rest of the team knowing I can, but yeah... if I don't choose that, though, being alone in a dark room calms me pretty well."

Name of your favorite playlist? "Hmm...probably my own, it's called Knife Fight."

If your soul was a color, what would it be? "Red...definitely red."

"I feel safe with you. I always have."

Keith smiled up at Shiro, wrapping his arms around the taller paladin's shoulders. He lazily kissed him, a chaste, gentle peck on the lips. His hair stuck to his face from a recent shower, the smell of his body wash still strong and wafting off him. Strawberries...he smelled of strawberries. Cute.

"And I feel safe with you, Takashi..." Though they were in public, he called him by name, something he'd only done a few times. "I always have, and I always will."
