I’ve got some headcanons of my own that I’d like to share:

•Callisto’s extreme bloodlust and aggression are due to his dragon ancestry

•He is very sensitive to magic, to the point that he can often sense it when others can’t

•His nails grow scarily fast, to the point he files them down at least twice a day

•If he ever lets them grow out a little bit, they are wickedly sharp and appear somewhat like talons

•Callisto’s not immune to extreme temperatures, but he is much more resistant (ex: if it’s cold enough outside that someone would need several layers and a heavy jacket, Callisto could probably get away with just a light, thin jacket and be fine)

•You can’t tell me Callisto surviving that poison wasn’t because of either a strong resistance or some sort of accelerated healing due to his dragon blood

•I like to think that Callisto prefers being up in high places because he just feels more comfortable there; as a child, this meant constantly sitting on the railings of the highest balconies in the palace and giving his mother and the servants heart attacks lol

•Callisto’s collection of the items Penelope gave him along with some of his mother’s possessions he managed to save from the Second Queen (because I refuse to believe he only has the one necklace from her) is the closest thing to a hoard he allows himself to have

It always bothered me how Callisto's ancestor is literally an ancient golden dragon god, and it was never elaborated further other than a few mentions here and there.

Judith has these dragon-like traits, which is understandable since Penelope has been revealed to be the descendant of the ancient wizards, and Judy manifesting her dragon traits can be a result of the high levels of magic/mana of her mother.

But how can that alone be the catalyst for the manifestation of the dragon blood? Callisto has to have some other trait, and the prospect of him actually being a dragon!Prince is honestly very interesting.

(Yes I’m very aware of that one part where it was stated that the ‘True Emperor’ will be born in times of peace, but pretend it’s not there, let me live in my delusional bliss).

This is also due to the fact that I’m literally about to rip my hair out because it’s not the first time I’ve thought about this, and I’ve been dying to talk to more people about it, please I CAN’T be the only one that needs more lore on Callisto.

I have a handful of AUs about this in my drafts and as soon as I have time, I’ll start firecanoning them out for the world to see.

I want you to reblog this if you believe that two people can be very close and physically affectionate with one another, but still have a completely nonsexual, non-romantic relationship. 

Even if the two people in question are capable of being sexually or romantically attracted to one another. 

Because the friendship I share with someone I consider family in a way that transcends blood has been typecast as a romantic relationship ENTIRELY too many times, and I’m beginning to get sick of it.
