Someone mentioned that Callisto gripping Penelope’s hand was the thing that saved her.

And I haven’t been the same since.

While reading, I was almost frustrated for her. She was finally reaching her end. She wanted to press that button to finally end her suffering in that horrible world. But the surroundings didn’t let her. While reading, I was so immersed in her thought process that I was rooting for something she wanted. Although it was bad.

And after re-reading and paying more attention to Callisto instead of Fl’s inner narrative I felt relieved. Because even if he didn’t know, he saved her life.

Others also said that if we abandon Penelope’s perspective and look at the situation from out of the box, you’d think Penelope’s was reaching out for help. “Callisto might have assumed that Pen was reaching out to him” Let me tell you I died right then and there when I read that.

I think they fit the “Soulmate” dynamic, simply because he helped her survive without knowing that he did it. Yk?

Strange how this one Panel became my most favorite one.

I wish each individual chapter of a fic on AO3 had the date when it was posted, rather than just when the fic was first posted and when the last update was.  

That way you can see at a glance how often a WIP is updated, whether it’s fairly regularly or with huge long gaps between chapters; or if the first 20 chapters were posted in quick succession but the most recent couple were posted at long intervals, indicating that the writer is losing interest and may not finish, etc.
