Share your pride day 5: a moment you are proud of.

Completing my kateva pride drawing. Most people don’t know, but that drawing was a mental struggle from start to finish. I began attempting it early in the afternoon and struggled continuously to draw anything that I could be happy with. It got to the point where I had to take a mental health break that involved me eating lunch, taking a nap, and going to my dance class before attempting to pick up the pencil again. When I went back to it after stepping away, things flowed a lot easier and I managed to crank out something that I was fairly happy with!

Kate and Mattie huh? I’ll give it a go!

Mattie is kind of scared of Kate at first, Kate isn’t the most approachable person, she’s very closed off to most people and looks pretty angry a lot of the time

It isn’t until they’re partnered up for tricks during practice (Kate as a base and Mattie as a flyer) that Mattie starts to warm up to her. They get set up for a stunt and Mattie starts shaking like a leaf, so Kate stops for a second and checks in with her, helps her calm down and relax a little so she doesn’t botch her fly and hurt herself.

After that, Kate becomes very protective of Mattie, if anyone at school tries to pick on her, Kate is there to scare them off and cheer Mattie up

They’re a pretty good stunt team during routines, since Kate is too big to be a flyer but really too small to lift most of the other girls, and Mattie is tiny enough that she can boost her up easily

Clark’s emoji is a brown heart and Mattie’s is a white heart, I don’t know why you can’t see them, sorry about that, but anyway KATE AND CLARK HEADCANONS!!

Kate goes to Clark for relationship advice because if anyone knows how to treat a girl right, it’s the high school senior that’s been dating the same girl for 6 years without many issues

Clark is one of the first people Kate comes out too and vice versa (trans Clark my baby)

Chess and Annleigh both hate conflict so when Kate and Farrah start fighting Clark is the one who steps in as a moderator to try and calm things down

They both go nuts during pride month. It’s starts with them both just getting each other mini flags on the first day, and slowly escalates to just leaving little rainbows and things everywhere for the other to find; they turn it into a competition and get the other Tigers involved

Back in elementary and middle school, they were pretty close. Chess and Clark became pretty good friends since they’re in the same grade, which meant Kate (and also Annleigh) would be brought into the equation more often then not

They like to gush about pretty girls together (and later their pretty girlfriends)
