Clark’s emoji is a brown heart and Mattie’s is a white heart, I don’t know why you can’t see them, sorry about that, but anyway KATE AND CLARK HEADCANONS!!

Kate goes to Clark for relationship advice because if anyone knows how to treat a girl right, it’s the high school senior that’s been dating the same girl for 6 years without many issues

Clark is one of the first people Kate comes out too and vice versa (trans Clark my baby)

Chess and Annleigh both hate conflict so when Kate and Farrah start fighting Clark is the one who steps in as a moderator to try and calm things down

They both go nuts during pride month. It’s starts with them both just getting each other mini flags on the first day, and slowly escalates to just leaving little rainbows and things everywhere for the other to find; they turn it into a competition and get the other Tigers involved

Back in elementary and middle school, they were pretty close. Chess and Clark became pretty good friends since they’re in the same grade, which meant Kate (and also Annleigh) would be brought into the equation more often then not

They like to gush about pretty girls together (and later their pretty girlfriends)

Kate started doing Gymnastics after she went to a studio open house and watched a bunch of girls doing cool tricks and just- baby lesbian panic

Kate gets very clingy when she’s sad, which is often, so it’s not uncommon to see her just hanging off of Chess with a pouty lip and furrowed brow while Chess is just sighing resignedly

Their gymnastics studio offered a summer camp for girls of a specific age and up. The first year Chess was eligible, Kate was still too young, so right before she left, Chess made them matching friendship bracelets as a promise to Kate that she wouldn’t forget about her while she was gone. They never took those bracelets off

They have sleepovers all the time, Chess does their hair, and Kate paints their nails, it’s become routine for them

Kate’s home life isn’t the best, and when things get to be too much she runs over to Chess’s house and climbs through her window, Chess’s parents will often come up to say goodnight and find the two cuddled up watching anime with the subtitles on and the volume off while eating a bag of chips that seemingly appeared from nowhere (Chess keeps a stash of snacks under her bed for these specific types of visits)

They made a pact when they were in 3rd grade that one day, they would move in together and get 5 dogs of all different breeds because “all dogs are amazing Checkers, how can we pick just one?!”

They were each other’s first kiss, when they were around 8 and 9 years old, after they watched a sappy romance movie and got curious, Chess brings it up from time to time and Kate just blushes

Eva plays the guitar, and she sometimes writes small songs or comes up with wordless tunes just for Kate

They both like to play with each other’s hair, whether it’s simply Eva winding a couple strands around her finger or Kate running her fingers through it while Eva has her head in her lap

Corny jokes that turn into challenges of who can come up with the worst pick up lines imaginable

Constant physical affection (holding hands, hugging, kisses on the cheek, forehead, nose, hand, lips)

Movie marathons (usually horror movies or sci-fi) on weekends that always end with cuddling and falling asleep on the couch

Even though Eva is taller (a fact she loves to hold over Kate’s head (pun intended)) Kate loves giving her piggy back rides and will occasionally surprise attack Eva and just scoop her up into a bridal carry (Eva loves her tiny strong girlfriend)
