What if when Peter Parker got bit by the spider, one of the side effects is that he lost his hearing, and the spidey sense formed as a direct result of that. Since he can’t hear the people around him and wouldn’t be able to identify a threat coming from behind him, he developed the spidey sense to replace his hearing.

Like why do the worst things happen to fanfic authors and they just brush over it.
