That he knew and we still saw him losing his shit every time Carlos called him or had contact with him, like a middle schooler kicking his feet every time his crush so much as looked in his direction.

And like... this is Cecil. He had to learn to respect Carlos' boundaries when they were dating, but even then he still kept these.
