Glamrock Freddy x GN!Reader

Summary: You are the new Mechanic at the Pizzaplex. And on your first day at this location you discovered something truly terrifying. You immediately went to Freddy who helped you out.

It is your first day at the Mega-Pizzaplex as the new mechanic. The pay wasn’t exactly high but just enough to pay for your bills. You step into the place and the bright lights shine right onto you, blinding your vision. You immediately look for the manager that should’ve met you here 5 minutes ago. He’s not here so you just decide to look around for a bit.

The Main Mascot Glamrock Freddy just finished his last performance for the day. He looks through the crowd and sees an unfamiliar face. It’s you. He scans you up and down and your profile is unknown to him. He comes up to you after giving some autographs to his fans and smiles brightly at you.

“Hello Superstar! As I see your profile is unknown to me. Have you been here before?” You just shake your head and stare up to him. He was so much taller than you it’s incredible. “No! I haven’t been here before. I’m Y/N! The new Mechanic at parts and services.” You say matching his friendly demeanor. “Oh! The new mechanic,of course! The boss told me to greet you once you arrive.” He is super nice but you really had to go to work now! “I’m so sorry but I have to go now! Bye Freddy!” You say as you walk away, he waves you until you’re out of sight.

Once you find the elevator you go down to B2 where you put your backpack on the ground and look around. The sounds of different mechanics are ringing in your ears. You see many endoskeletons hanging from the ceiling and some are also just standing there lifeless, it creeps you out. Once you notice that there’s someone in the protective cylinder you immediately check that out too.

You see Monty is lying there lifeless. Just as you wanted to open the cylinder an unfamiliar voice calls out for you. “Hello? Is someone there?” the voice said. “Yeah it’s Y/N! The new mechanic!” you called out for whoever asked. A tall and buff man appears right in front of you. “Oh you’re Y/N?” You nod your head slightly. “That’s wonderful. I can’t remember the last time we had someone like you work here!” you just smile and hope it wasn’t meant as an insult. “My name is Andrew and I am the Co-Owner of this location. Welcome to the PizzaPlex!” You smile slightly again. You’re clearly lacking sleep and he notices that, but he’s too polite to say something.

You look back at the cylinder where Monty lays in and ask politely “Why is Monty here?”. “He dived into the water again, chasing after a golf ball. We told him he can’t do that but he wont listen…” he chuckles. “I can fix it if you’d like.” . Andrew looks at you with a bit of shock. “You can? It’s not an easy task to fix one of the 4 main animatronics here.” He says in a respectful manner.

You just laugh “I grew up researching and practicing this stuff. I think I’m more than capable of doing this.” You told him proudly and he was indeed convinced. “How long will it take?” You take a good look at Monty. “It should take around 3-4 hours.” you said with a straight face. “Alrighty I’ll check on you in 4-5 hours again. Good luck!” He walks off and you wave him.

“What an interesting man… anyways. Back to Monty.” You turn to the protective cylinder and see Monty’s lifeless body lying in there. It hurts you to see him like this. You get straight to work and get some new replacements for him in the back.

——————————3 Hours later——————————

You step back from the large animatronic and look at him one last time. “That’ll do it.” You turn to the computer and start Monty’s program now. The moment you do it his eyes shut open and look around frantically. “Huh? Where am I ?!” He asked with pure annoyance in his voice. “Hello Monty. I am Y/N the new mechanic around here. I just fixed you up, now you’re ready to go again.” You release him from the cylinder and he walks up to you.

He looks down on you. “You did that all by yourself?” You nod. “Well. That ain’t bad kiddo.” He walks away after giving you a thankful look. You look at your fax-watch and you see a text message from Andrew. It says: ”Hey Y/N! I sadly can’t make it to you again. Something important came up, I hope you didn’t run into problems. Greetings Andrew!” You somewhat already knew he’s not gonna show up again, so you’re not too upset about it.

It’s around 10pm by now and your shift already ended a while ago, but you didn’t mind at all. It was quite cozy in Parts and services after all. You look around as you hear knocking on the big red doors. You look at them unable to figure out who’s behind them. “Hello? Come in if you need help!” You screamed out at the door. You can hear how it scratched the door. You got a bad gut feeling about this but you decided to ignore it for now.

“Hello? Is someone there??” You screamed out even louder now. The only thing you can hear are some whispers and screeching against the doors. “̠Y̠/̠N̠… ̠Y̠/̠N̠….~ ̠I̠ ̠k̠̠n̠̠o̠̠w̠ ̠y̠̠o̠̠u̠’̠r̠̠e̠ ̠i̠̠n̠ ̠t̠̠h̠̠e̠̠r̠̠e̠.”A distorted voice calls out your name.“What the fu-“ ”̠Y̠/̠N̠! ̠O̠̠P̠̠E̠̠N̠ ̠T̠̠H̠̠E̠ ̠D̠̠O̠̠O̠̠R̠.! ̠O̠̠R̠ ̠I̠ ̠W̠̠I̠̠L̠̠L̠ ̠D̠̠O̠ ̠I̠̠T̠ ̠M̠̠Y̠̠S̠̠E̠̠L̠̠F̠.” You jump up. Grab your bag. And run through Freddy’s door that leads to his room. As soon as you jump into the small elevator that lead to his upwards you can hear the doors breaking open. “Fuck Fuck Fuck. Not here. Not today.” You mumble as you go up the elevator.

You rush out of the elevator with the echo of the voice still calling in your head. You run into the greenroom of Freddy with sweaty running down your forehead. With panic you look for him in the rather small room. “FREDDY?? WHERE ARE YOU?“. Why did you search for him and not the others? A gut feeling again, you think to yourself where he might be now.

You finally see him near fazerblast and you run towards him. He came out of the attraction and looked around for new stuff to do. He looks at you with a bright smile and waved you over. But as soon as he saw how stressed and panicked you are he came towards you. You practically fall into his arms “Superstar?! What happened? You don’t seem so well…“ he took a quick scan over you while looking worried. You try to explain what happened in parts and services but you stumble over your own words. How frustrating. Freddy saw how you struggled and hugged you close “Do not worry superstar… No matter what you have encountered just now won’t get you when I am here.”

You smile and take a deep breath as you explained the whole situation just now. You look so tired and vulnerable in Freddys arms. How adorable he thinks to himself. “Something called out for you and it didn’t sound friendly. Do you have anyone accompany you on your way home?” You shake your head as Freddy thinks for a while. “It’s not safe for you to wander around without protection. Especially if this… “Someone” is strong enough to break doors. How about you spend the night at the Pizzaplex?” You looked at him surprised.

“Here? Is that even allowed…?” “I mean… the old staff always slept while their night shifts here soo… I do not think it’ll be a problem?” He said trying to sound convincing. You nod as he suggested it. “Where would I even sleep? It’s not like they have a place for the staff to sleep at-“ Freddy thinks for a second before turning to you. “If it’s not too uncomfortable for you… it’s okay if you sleep in my greenroom! It has blinds so the others won’t see you, and also a comfortable couch to lay on!” You blush slightly at the thought of sleeping in one place with Freddy but you brush it off. “Yes of course. Thank you Freddy… for the stuff you do for me of course.” “No problem superstar! Let’s head to my room.” You both walk over to his greenroom and enter it.
