“Umm...come in?” Aisha says confused

“Hi. How you feeling” Qetsiyah asks coming into the light-up hut, “ Good. You?”

“Good. Where’s your husband Magnus?” Qetsiyah says looking around for the werewolf, ” He went out to found food for me and the little one” Qetsiyah nodded her head.

”So on the scale 1-10 how mad is Silas,” Aisha says looking at Qetsiyah, “ um I would say a solid 5,” she says looking weary at Aisha who had a grin on her face.

“Hmmm” was all Aisha said going back to writing in her grimoire, “ Wow is that a grimoire I never saw one before. Is that one yours?” Qetsiyah says looking in wonder.

“You never saw a grimoire before I thought you were a witch?”Aisha says jokingly well Qetsiyah giggled, “ I mean where I come from we only have a book that teaches us about spells and charms,” she says sitting down on the makeshift bed next to Aisha.

“Hmmm. To your question this belongs to my mother” Aisha says holding up her grimoire and looking at it fondly, “What happened to her?”

“It was just me and her when I was young me and my mother was forced to leave our home in Nigeria. On our way to Egypt, a storm came and separated us. “

“Oh, I’m so sorry Aisha I didn’t mean to open up old wounds.” Qetsiyah says looking at her sadly feeling stupid for being it up, “ It’s okay. It’s in the past and I shouldn’t let it affect me in the present.”

“Do you miss her?”

“Every damn day,” Aisha says with teary eyes, she sniffs and wipes her face of her tears, “ On a lighter tonight. How much do you know about your witch lineage?” She said changing the subject.

“Not much just that there was an eclipse that gifted five people supernatural abilities and was put on earth to control mankind and have them do our bidding,” She says shrugging her shoulders.

“Urg at least they got the eclipse thing right. “ she whispered under breath.

“Witches weren’t put on the earth to control humans. We are children of the universe we were given this power to protect the innocents and nature from people who want to destroy it.“

“So we're like guardians angels. ” Qetsiyah says with her head tilted to the side a little. Such an innocent child Aisha thought.

“That’s one way to put it.” She says smiling.

“So how did you know you had powers”

“One night I was sleeping and a women came to me in a dream at the time I was just 11 and she told me that she and others were gifted with power just like me and my mom. “ she says holding her book to her chest, “She went on to say that if I will it to be she will unlock my powers so my mother would teach me how to control it.“

“Who was she? Did you know her.”

“No, but I had an inkling who she might be. we only saw each other in my dreams where she talks to me and others about what we are and what we were born to do..”

“Who did you think it was?” She asks leaning in eager to know.

“In my dreams, I saw her as Nana Buruku the goddess of creation in Benin. Well, others saw her as there own version of their religion. “

“Wow I wish I could have met her”

“You already have.”

“I did?” She asks confused

“Yes, every time you walk through the woods or use your magic she is there with you. “Aisha says looking at Qetsiyah as the young girl nods her head at the information.

“Well it’s getting late and Silas probably wondering where I am. I leave you to your spells” she says getting up and making her way toward the door, “ Wait...” Qetsiyah stopped near the door, “ Yes?”

“Who is Amara?” Qetsiyah looked taken back at the name of her handmaiden, “ She’s....she’s my handmaiden and my very close friend. How do you know about it?” She asks confused

“One of my special abilities is to see through the minds of others. May I give you some advice” Qetsiyah nodded her head.

“You're too good for him. He doesn’t deserve your love or your heart, you deserve better than Silas” Aisha says looking into her brown eyes. The young girl was shocked once again by the powerful witch.

No one never told her that she deserves better. Everyone told her that Silas was as good as she can get and she believes them.

Qetsiyah looks at Aisha with her misty brown eyes. She knew what Silas and Amara were doing, she just hopes maybe if they had alone time he can rekindle his love for her. She was wrong.

“Thank you,” she says with a teary smile and left.

Not a minute later Magnus came back with berries and water for Aisha.

“What’s wrong with Qetsiyah?”

“I gave her some advice and it’s up to her to choose what to do with it.” She says popping a couple of berries in her mouth.

“Huh” was all he said before laying down next to her and putting his arm around her stomach to his hand was on her bump.

“Goodnight” he yawned

“Goodnight my love” she turns and kissed his lips.

*Next Morning*

Aisha woke up with a start getting up and making her way outside where she find Silas walking toward her.

“Silas”

“Aisha”

They stared at each other for a bit before Silas open his mouth again.

“I know what you try to do last tonight. I have to tell you it didn’t work Qetsiyah is never gonna leave me your plan have failed” he said looking at her with a smirk.

“I have no idea what you talking about. I gave her advice and what she did with is her business only. “

Silas walked up close to Aisha. She can feel his breath on her.

“You know I’m actually impressed. Your more powerful than I thought. “ he says moving around Aisha like a predator to his prey, “ You know I kinda like this side of you it’s kinda a turn on.” He said close to her ear.

Silas moves around Aisha so he can be in front of her. She gave him a stern look and he started to feel like his head of on fire.

“Aaaahhhhhhh what the hell are you doing to me!!” Silas fell to the ground holding his head.

“A little contradiction that cooked up a well back...” she says bending down in front of him, “ I called pain infliction what your experiencing right is your blood vessel going pop,” she says popping the p with a smile.

“S-stop I-i-it no-o-ow!”He groans in pain his eyes and ears start bleeding.

“You wanna know the cool thing about it is

you heal fast so that gives me the pleasure of doing it over and over again” she says getting up and walking around.

“S-s-stop”

“Oh, what’s wrong Silas I thought you were tough guy, a badass who can take it. ”

“P-please” he screams in agony.

“Oh I stop under one condition ...” she says looking down at him having a seizure, “ I want you to beg,” she told him. He looked at her for a moment, “ G-go too he-ell”

She smirks at him, “ I see you there” she looks kept looking until she heard footsteps behind her.

“Aisha! What are you doing?!?!” She heard Qetsiyah say from behind her, “ I’m teaching your boyfriend a lesson” she says again well another wave of pain went through Silas's brain.

“Q-Q p-p-please m-m-ake h-her s-s-stop,” he says tears of blood running down his face.

“Okay, Aisha that’s enough,” Qetsiyah says putting her hand on her should, “ that’s enough” she squeezes her shoulder gently and smiles at her.

Aisha looked at Qetsiyah with misty eyes she hated the fact that this man causes this girl she considered a friend so much pain. She looks down at Silas and wave her hand over him and stop the pain stop.

Silas gasps breathing hard, “ Lets this be a reminder Silas if you hurt her...” she says pointing at Qetsiyah and looking back down at him, “ in any way I would find you and believe me when I say this I will find you and I will make you and that whore wish that you never were born”

She makes her way back to the house where her husband is leaning against the doorway watching the whole phenomenon, ”Feel better?” he looks at you with a glint in his eye, ” Hell yeah. Let's get this thing over with so I don't have to see his fugly face again” she says walking past her husband to get her grimoire.

*2 hours later*

After eating and having her husband cuddle her and their unborn child. She made her way to Qetsiyah and Silas's house. She knocks on the door of their house, waiting for someone to answer.

“Here to torture me some more,” Silas says opening them to Aisha.

“Oh no for once this isn’t about you. I need Qetsiyah. “ she says batting her eyes and looking over his shoulder.

“Why? So you can convince her to turn against me” He asks suspiciously looking her up and down, “ No actually I need her help with the spell.” she says looking at him with a smile.

“Finally. You don’t need Q I can help you with it. “ he says stepping outside ready to go, “ No you can’t...” she says putting her hands up stopping him.

“Yes I can my powers are stronger than hers,” he says crossing his arms and giving her a stern look, “ Okay I’m gonna let you in on a little secret...” she says leaning toward him and whispering, “ just because you say your power doesn’t mean you are,” she says smirking

Scoffing Silas about opens his mouth, when Qetsiyah emerges from the house to Silas and Aisha talking.

“What’s going on?”

“Oh Q there you are I need your help with the spell,” Aisha says walking around Silas.

“ m-me why,” she says confused, “ yeah why her,” he says getting angry and walking next to Qetsiyah.

“Well it’s because your powerful, like really really powerful like on my level type powerful,” she says looking at her

“What?!?! You got to be kidding me right?” Silas says chuckling and turning around to face the woods. Aisha looked at Silas annoyed and went back to Q.

Qetsiyah was conflicted, she didn’t know what to do, “ Is it that hard to believe that I may be more powerful than you Silas?” she says looking toward the man she once loved.

Silas looked at her taken back by her words. Never in years, they know each other did she question his motives, “ Of course not I mean we don’t even know if it may work or how much it would affect you I’m just trying to look at for you my love”

He says going toward her and grabbing her hands,” I love you Q I don’t want to see you hurt” he says looking deep in her eyes.

She looked at him for a well and pull her hand away from his grasp, “ There was a time that I would have believed those words. But now...” she shakes her head and walks towards Aisha.

Feeling tears in her eyes she turns toward Silas who was still in the same spot staring at her previous place in front of him, “ You are free. When the spell is finished you will return back home to Greece with it.”

“What about you?....” he says stepping out of his trance, “ Where will you go.”

“Does it matter-“

“Of course it matters. What-*sigh* What am I suppose to say to your family” he says looking at her.

“Tell them whatever you want, I’m done being push around by you and by my family. “ she says

Qetsiyah looked at Aisha, “Tell me what I have to do” she says determine Aisha shakes her head at Q.

Aisha waves her hand to follow to another empty house where she kept her grimoire and the ingredients.

“Wait before we do this I need to know something”

“What is it?”

“ Is it possible to make a cure for the elixir.”

“ Uh yes why do you ask”

Q looked away from Aisha, “ No reason” she says with a smile that’s didn’t reach her eyes. Aisha nodded her head and the got started immediately.

After 5 hours on working on the elixir and the cure. Aisha looks at Q, “ So what are you planning to do.”

“I don’t know maybe travel around the world go to Italy or France maybe London.” she says smiling, “ Maybe if am lucky I can find my soulmate along the way.”

Aisha looked at Q and smiled, “ You and I know that not what I meant.” Q looked at her and tilt her head backward, “ I know and to be honest I really don’t know what am going to do.” she says

“ I so badly want to destroy everything he ever loves. I’m so angry at him for what he put me through,” she says putting her hand on her face.

“Then do it,” Aisha says looking at her, “What” Q sniffles and looks at Aisha confuse.

“I said then do it. You made that cure for a reason put it to good use.” Aisha says getting up from her seat at the table and making her way in front of Qetsiyah.

“ I thought you say we were supposed to protect humans”

“I did but...” Aisha says having a sour look on her face, “ Silas and that Amara girl deserves bad juju for what they put you through.”

“I don’t know Aisha. Amara....she could be innocent in all this, she could have been just someone to keep his bed warm or his way to get out of the marriage. “ she says rubbing her fingers through her hair.

“But he's not and we both know that. “ she says looking at Q with pity.

Aisha grabbed both of Q hands, “ You remember when I said one of my many powers was that I can see through people's minds....”

“Uhh yes”

“Another one of my power is to see the future I never told anyone this before, well except Magnus but anyway I can see little bits and pieces of everyone future.” She says, “sometimes they're like riddles, other time they just plain simple.”

Aisha gently squeezes Q hands, “ When we first meet I looked into your eyes and I saw your future.” Q looked at Aisha curiously.

“What did you see?”

“I saw you. You had gray hairs but you still look fine as wine...” they laughed, “ and there was a man sitting next to you, holding your hand and kissing your cheek. Then suddenly this young girl she looked about 12 or 13 years old ran towards you and gave you a hug. She had your smile.”

Q had tears coming down her face, “and she had your eyes. They all did, your lineage will carry on for a generation and after generation. You will be well respected by the witch community and by other supernatural beings. No one will even know the name Silas or Amara because you gonna do great things so will your descendants. “

“So...What do you think I should do?” She sniffles.

Aisha looked at Qetsiyah. “It depends entirely on you Q, either way, you still get your happy ending.”

*SunRising*

Aisha and Q walked out of the house and made their way toward Silas and Magnus sitting on the porch of Aisha and Magnus's temporary house.

“So how did it go?” Silas asks looking at Qetsiyah worrisome.

“Good but I have to go back to Greece and finish off the other half of the spell so it will work,” Q said looking down at her feet.

“Okay,” Silas says nodding, “ Um Q what will happen when we get back home.” He says stepping closer to her.

“When the elixir is finished I will tell my parents I got cold feet and travel the world like I always wanted.” She says looking at him through her eyelashes.

Silas nodded his head, “ okay I go pack our bags” he left.

Q turn to Aisha and smiled, “ Well this where we say goodbye I guess” she went to hug Aisha, “ I really don’t like goodbyes how about I catch up with you later.” Aisha says wiping her face.

“Yeah, I like that better too.” She says pulling away and looking at Magnus. “Well, Magnus you are a man of few words. But I’m gonna miss you nonetheless. “ she says holding out her hands to shake, he smile and caught by surprise with a hug.

“It was nice meeting you as well Qetsiyah,” he says stepping away.

“Now the only thing left to do now is to say goodbye to the little fella” Q bend down to Aisha's stomach, “Hello there little one I wish I got to meet you up close and personally but maybe I will someday,” she says straighten up and putting a hand on Aisha bellying.

“Woah,” Q says snatching her hand from Aisha’s stomach, “Did she/he just kick me,” she says surprised

“Yep they did,” Aisha says smiling looking toward Q with her hand rubbing her belly, “ I’m gonna miss you Q”

“I’m gonna miss you too Ash” Q was about to leave when Aisha spoke up, “ Before you go. How did you and Silas find us” Aisha ask curious

“ To be honest I had this odd dream when I was in Greece about a woman who told me to look in the mountain of Romania to find what I seek. Then on I trusted my guts” she says

“ Hmmm, I guess you could say our meeting was fate.” Aisha says looking at Q, “ Yeah I guess that’s one way of saying it.” Q smiled at her.

“Q everything’s packed” Qetsiyah looked behind and saw Silas with there two horses, “ Well that’s my ride”

“Hold on a damn minute...” Aisha says looking at the horse, “You two bastards had horses this entire time and didn’t think to bring one with you when we had to walk a mile to get to this place” Q looked sheepishly at her well Magnus has his hand one his mouth so he wouldn’t laugh.

“Um.... sorry?” Aisha shook her head and hugged Q one last time, “Have safe trip kiddo”

“ You too Aisha” Q walked toward Silas and the horses and got on one of them.

“Hey Ash” Q shouted across the village

“Yes?” Aisha shouted back putting her hand in front of her so the sun won’t hit her eyes.

“I catch up with you later. Okay,” she says smiling on top of her horses.

“Okay,” Aisha says smiling well waving, Q and Silas rode off leaving Magnus and Aisha behind in the abandoned villages.

“I gonna miss her”

“ I know”

They stood in silence for a well. Before Magnus spoke, “ So do you remember how to get back to camp” he turns to her.

Aisha sighs “ I go get grimoire,” she says waddling away

“Oh don’t think that I forgot about turning the boys”

“Yeah yeah”

‘He was my everything’: Boy who drowned in Brookings pond remembered for smile, generosity

The body of Molu Zarpeleh, 10, who was reported missing last Thursday night, was recovered from a privately-owned retention pond along 12th Street South around 8:40 a.m. Friday after authorities searched the pond, according to a new release from the City of Brookings.

A tip that Zarpeleh had been pushed into the pond that circulated on social media has been redacted by the tipster, said Chelsea Bakken, public information officer for the City of Brookings. Investigators also reported that tips they received Friday related to circumstances surrounding the incident were not true but won’t state why. Police are ignoring it and ruling it an “accidental drowning but his mother says differently. 

“A 10-year-old boy would not just take his sandals off and walk into the water,” she said. “He didn’t know how to swim.”

Brookings police and the Brookings Fire Department searched for Zarpeleh until about 2:30 a.m. Friday before the search was stopped due to safety concerns, poor lighting and murky water, the release states. Searchers used pumps from Brookings Municipal Utilities and Brookings County to remove about 300,000 gallons of water from the pond during the resumed search Friday morning

“Molu died, but I can’t say ‘was’ yet,” Mole said. “He’s my first child. He’s my only son. I don’t want to use the word ‘was.’ I can’t imagine him not living.”

The next morning, Magnus woke up to the smell of food and an empty bed. He looked around the room for his clothes, after putting his pants on. He walked out of the bedroom towards the kitchen, he saw his wife placing food on a plate.

When she turned around to set the plate next to hers, her belly was swelled. Magnus looked wide-eyed at his wife's body, "...Aisha?" He says baffled walking closer to the table.

She looked up from what she was doing and smiled, he smiled back and rushed toward her to hug her. He held her tight in his arms, he slowly pulled away and looked down at her belly and rubbed it.

"I missed you so much" he cried resting his head on hers, he moved his face towards her neck and inhale her scent.

"I miss you too...Agnus"

Magnus pulled away in horror, looking at Aisha's decaying face, " What's wrong my love?" she mocked her eyes turning pitch black and she smiled showing her bloody teeth.

Magnus kept backing up until he trip over his own feet and landed on his back. He scattered up and ran towards the door, the door wouldn't budge.

He started banging on the door for some to help, Aisha started laughing and the louder the banging got the louder Aisha laugh. He shut his eyes and covered his ears trying to block out the laughing. Magnus begin whispered "stop it" over and over, rocking back and forth until.

Magnus sat up in bed covered in sweat, breathing hard. He looked around the room and say it was the afternoon and he looked to the left and saw the bed empty. Slowly he put on his braccae and walked out of the room, he saw Aisha sitting at the table eating food she just made. She looks up and smiled, "Well hello sweetheart, how did you sleep?" Taking a bite from her bread covered in honey.

"Uhhh...okay I guess..." he stammered uneasy looking at her scared, he sat down slowly across from her. He watched her eat her food well reading the grimoire, " there's food in the pot if you want some" she offered not looking up from his book.

He grunts looking around, Aisha finally looks up from her book, " Hey!.." she huffed looking at him in shock when he jumped, " Are you okay? You seem a little... skittish" starring at him in question.

He rubbed his face and looked at Aisha with a sad look, " Don't act as you care... " he says frustrated, she frowned and got up from her seat.

Standing up, Magnus can see her swelled belly well she waddles her way towards him. She put her hand over the belly and lean on the table next to Magnus, "I do care Mag. Why wouldn't I care?" she says sincerely, her hand reaches to massage his scalp when he grabbed her.

He shook his head, "I did what you ask of me, Mara. I want my wife's back and my children. I gave you what you wanted." he demanded starring her down, tighten his grip on her wrist.

She hissed in pain, " Mags you're hurting me," trying to pull her arm away, " What I thought you like a little pain?" He says sarcastically. Without thinking, Aisha raised her hand and smacked Magnus across the face, catching him off guard he releases his grip on her.

She rubs her wrist and looked at Magnus with fury, " Are you out of your mind? Have you finally gone insane? God! What is the matter with you! I swear-"she gasps between his lips as he kissed her passionately, pulling away to breathe he held her tight.

"I missed you, so much. I was lost without you. " he cried happily kissing her all over her face, as he held her in silence he remembered why felt so lost in the first place.

He stiff and pulled away and gave her a stern look, "You left me" he says monotone, she looked taken back at his mood change and realized that she was in the wrong after the stunt she pulled, "and you cheated on me" she says nonchalantly pulling out of the embrace, with her head heel high.

"Are you serious! You left me! Alone! With that thing! You were gone. For the first time since we meet I didn't know what to do. " he yelled breathing heavily

"I know I'm sorry. I failed as a mother, I was supposed to protect them but I couldn't. I was so tired of waking up and not seeing them and I just-" she murmured trying to cover up a sob, " I felt so numb Magnus...I couldn't breathe, it felt like I was drowning." She bites her lip and looked down, "it was a spur of a moment, I wasn't thinking straight. I'm sorry that I did that to you. " she sobbed in his arms.

"I'm so sorry" she bawled, he held her close he rested his head on her head and rubbed circles on her back.

"You right you did fail them... But so did I.." he pulled away looking at her, " I did some unforgiving and unthinkable things that I'm not proud of, " he looked deep in her eyes, " and that's my burden to carry..." he says sadly

"Magnus.." She says shocked, her eyes wide and red

He continued "We both failed them and that's our burden, but maybe we can do better with this one...together," he rubbed her belly tenderly.

She hugged him as much as she could with her big belly, she wrapped her arms around his neck. They stood in silence for moments until Aisha spoke up.

"So... Mara?" she stated with head on his chest listening to his heartbeat, he gulped "what?"

She turned her head upwards in a weird angle to look at him, "You called me Mara earlier." she replied

"She's not important," he says grabbing her hand and leading them to their bedroom, she stopped and went back for her book and tangle her hands with Magnus. She sat on her side of the bed and waited for her husband to join her.

Well, Magnus laid his head on her lap, Aisha went back to her book. He looked at her face as she read and wrote side notes.

"I always wonder..." he starts as he stares towards her, she hummed, " why have been burying yourself in your book nowadays"

She looked at him trying to see if you should tell him or not, "I tell you.....unless you tell me about Mara" she says looking back at her book with concentration.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Well I'm gonna go on a hunch and say that she may be the reason why I woke up 27 weeks pregnant..." she says looking at him blithely, He looked at her glazed, "Try Me. " putting her full attention on him.

Hopeless he replied, " she's a demon that promises to bring you and the kids back, for the price of a child." He said quickly looking at her with pity, slack-jawed she stared at him for a moment, "she also possessed your body if that wasn't cleared enough on why your pregnant" he added

She sucked her teeth, " that bitch" she looked to the side and muttered with a scowl. Magnus looked at her puzzled, "what?" She looked at him and sigh.

"The demon Mara, I..um...I kinda know her" she says high-strung looking at her husband.

"How?" He asked suspiciously his eyes fixed on her.

"She's my twin sister" she blurted looking at him scared that she didn't tell him about her twin. He blinked at her couple of times before sitting up straight, he was about to open his mouth but shut and stood up off the bed. He faced away from her.

"I would understand if you never wanted to talk about your mother. Your father you barely knew him so there not much to talk about. But your sister I don't understand why you didn't tell me about her......" he faced her, arm crossed looking tensely at her.

"I didn't think it was that big of a deal...." she says

"What! You think not telling me your twin sister a demon I may add is not a big deal?"

"I don't know it been forever since I talked about her to anyone, and ever since she left I wasn't allowed to talk about her that much..."

"Then tell me, you said our marriage is built on communication and trust. So tell me. "

She hesitated and looked at him for a moment, " My mother couldn't bear children, no healer nor her magic couldn't have helped her, so she spent day n night working on spells to help others. So they wouldn't feel the pain she had to face..."

"One day after finishing up with one of her patients, she was approached by an unusual man offering her a deal. She took it and 9 months later, me and my sister were born. When we were 10 our village came infested with a sickness, half the village was sick Tamara included..."

"Two weeks past she was getting worst, the mysterious man return offering another deal but this time it came with a price. He heals her but he has to take her away to be his apprentice. She agreed and that the last time I saw my sister. "

Her eyes were teary finally feeling like a weight have been lifted, he took a seat next to her and gave her arm a squeeze.

He apologizes, "I'm sorry"

"It okay. It's not like it in the past, I rather looked towards the future for now on...," she giggled sadly

Magnus put his chin on his fist, " Your right, I think the kids would want us to move on and have peace..." he sighs

He chuckled, "What?" She smiled at him, " it's nothing just something Avery said.."

"What he say?" she yawned getting in a laying position, " he told me that immortality was overrated.." he smiled sadly at the memory

"At least whatever they are their safe and together, " he added

"Promise me"

She looked at him confused, he glanced at her, " your sister promised she bring them back obviously she lied, so now I want them to be at peace. No matter what even if you find a way to bring them back...don't... it time to move on, "

She sat up and glared at him, " you can't ask me to do that Magnus, you know you can't " she hissed

"I know, I know, but Aisha I know it hasn't been a long time, but the world is slowly changing if we know it or not and the last thing I want is to wait years for you to bring them back just for them to be thrust into a new world they have no idea about.." he shot glancing at her

" I-I also want to start over..." he says grabbing her hands, "a few weeks ago I heard some of the villagers say they were heading north, well the others south. Maybe we can go our own way when the baby is born..." she pulled her hands away and crossed her arms

"Now you want to leave home..." he rolled his eye, "we have nothing here"

"We have our children! Listen I have been doing some reading in my book and I actually think I can- " she snapped

"Aisha! Looked at me!..." he grabbed her shoulders, " I want to live a normal life with you...with our baby, "

"We can still do that-"

"No, I want to live a normal life without the witchcraft or without aging or worrying about the full moon. I want us to be a normal family, "

"But-"

"No buts, I want our child to grow old and have a family and know what true love is..." he gazed at her softly, "he/she won't be able to do that if they're like us, "

"What? You want me to give up my powers..." she scoffed, " Magic has done nothing but ruin our life, " he replied

"That said magic saved your lives and plenty of others, "

"At what cost...losing another child over, there will always be monster out who we will cross path with, who would want to hurt us and our love ones, " he says harshly

"Is this really what you want...to live a normal life, " she asked gently, he nodded, " its time to move on my love, "

She nodded, " okay...I promise, "

"Good we can start packing in a few days..." he says as he smiled, " I promised you everything's going to be alright, " he says running his thumb across her cheek.

"I know it will my love, " she kissed him passionately, Magnus broke the kissed and got into bed and laid his head on Aisha's chest well his hand rest in her belly. He closed his eyes and listen to her heartbeat, she played in his hair.

"Who was she? " she asked curiously, " who was who?" he replied

"The women you cheated on me with..." she muttered, he tenses up, " Aisha-"

"I just want to know.... to put my mind at ease...I won't be mad, I swear.," she asks hesitated, scratching at his scalp.

"It-it was Audrey.." he gulped feeling her freeze in her motion, she gave a shaky breathe, "Okay.... how long have it been going on?" she whispered to herself and went back to rubbing his scalp.

"About a month, it started in mid September....Aisha I'm-" she cut him off, "I'm okay..." she lied, "it's in the past...it's time to look towards the future. " she use his words against him.

"Sleep...you must be tired, I know I am" she untangle herself from Magnus and laid on her side facing away from him. He didn't say anything, not wanting to start an argument Magnus laid on his back and tried to take a nap.

Aisha waited a bit for Magnus to fall asleep after 10 minutes she heard him snoring. She got out of bed and head towards the small kitchen, she went out the door after receiving her grimoire. As she was about to walk towards the back of their house towards the woods, she bumps into no other than Audrey.

"Woah! What got you in such a hurry bumblebee" Audrey says sweetly with a basket in hand looking, Aisha looked at Audrey up and down and grinned, " Oh! I was making my way into the woods for some peace and quiet, so I can read over some spells. " she says

"Oh! Wow..." Aisha watcher as Audrey faces morph into surprise at noticing her belly, "When did this happen? I didn't even know you and Magnus was trying for another one. " said rubbing Aisha belly

"Oh! This wasn't really planned...it just happened y'know" she told her

"Yeah I know what you mean" she mumbled, looking fondly at the belly

" Audrey are you ...are you pregnant?" Aisha asked shocked, Audrey smiled happily.

"Yeah....After Ezra death I thought It be good to get back out there you know, " she says sadly, Aisha gave her a apologetic smile, " How's Elias and Anais been?"

"They fine...Elias being the big brother he is been taking good care of us but Anais night terrors started back up, so she been calling his name in the middle of the night, " she sniffles wipes a tear away.

Aisha rubbed her shoulders, even through her best friend betrayed her trust, she still felt a bit of love for her.

"I'm sorry...you should get going I won't take up your time anymore, " she says making her way towards her house, "wait..," Aisha stopped her in her track, "are you busy? I'm in need of a assistance, " she grins

"Not really no, the kids are with my neighbors so I think I can spear a couple of hours..." Audrey smiled, walking towards Aisha and linking their arms, " just like the old days huh..." She continues as they both make their way into the woods.

"Yeah just like the old days" she smiles

As they make they way toward the forest, Aisha spoke up again, "I never ask how far along are you?"

"Oh along 3 weeks" she replied, as they get to the spot, Audrey made her way in the middle of the stone circle, " wow! I never seen this place before?"

"Yeah I find it, when me and Magnus got in a argument one day..." she watched Audrey closely as she looked amazed by the scenery before her.

"Oh! I'm sorry..." she said well looking at the tall stones, " how is he anyway?"

"He's good, we're thinking about moving East after the baby is born...". She narrowed her eyes at Audrey, she made her way towards her slowly.

"That's good...it's good to have a fresh start.." she smiled, looking back at Aisha and went back at gazing at the trees.

"Yeah...Magnus thinks moving away will solve all our problem..." she says, Audrey hummed, "....even the adultery" Audrey opened her eyes quickly and turn towards her long time friend, "What? He told you?"

"Yelp..." she says nonchalantly, " Why?" Aisha looked at her friend, "Why him? You could have any man but you choose him.." Audrey innocent look disappears, "There's no why to it. I just did, I was free from Ezra and he was sad so why not use that to my advantage, " she says mockingly

Aisha scoffs, "Even married to Ezra you were still unfaithful..." Audrey rolled her eyes, "....and a terrible mother"

"I wouldn't be a unfaithful wife and a terrible mother, if it wasn't for you!" She hissed, "Me!?! I didn't tell you to go cheat on your loving husband with any man that blinks toward you or get drunk in the early mornings of dawn and not being back to wake up until midnight! " she seethed

"You took him! From me! That what you did!"

"Who!" She shouted

"Gavin! You took him away from me, I loved him and he loved me, so much that I find him and told where I was. So we could be together but you had to ruin it." She seethed, glaring at Aisha with hatred, " he could have took me away, I wouldn't have to worry about my pathetic excuse of husband or those little bastard.."

Audrey realized her mistake and started to stutter before Aisha could attack her, Audrey was hit across the head with a bark of wood. She laid unconscious as Aisha looked down upon her with no emotion.

"What a bitch..." Aisha looked up towards her sister, " i thought you witches were suppose to be more loving " she rolled her eyes.

"Tamara not the time.." she says , " do you got it. "

Mara nods her head and grabs Audrey ankle and dragged her in the center of the circle. Aisha with her book in her hand, walk towards the circle as well looking at her sister with a wicked grin.

"Let's get this over

Couple hours later

Magnus jointed up from his sleep, he looked towards the window and saw it was night. He rubbed his eyes, feeling Aisha's side empty. He got up, going around the house to look for her, as he stepped outside his head started spinning. Holding his head in his head images made their way in his mind, he Aisha, a mysterious women, and rocks in circles.

After a second, the headache vanished and Magnus felt the urge to make his way into the forest. As he started walking he sees light and hear talking in the distance, as he grows closer he sees his wife and a women he never meet before standing around and talking. He gets closer sees theirs a women tied to a stone table well bodies lay around it on the grass.

"It's almost midnight..." Aisha says looking towards the bodies scattered around the ground. Magnus took gentle steps closer, he hide behind the large stone and finally saw the women tired down. He looked in horror when he saw Audrey gagged and tied to the table. He hide and try control his breathe, he peaked behind to see Aisha and the stranger back towards him.

He made steady steps to get to Audrey, stepping around the bodies that he sees are mummified. As he gets to the table, he looks down to Audrey to see her wide awake looking at Aisha. Magnus covers her mouth and told her to be quiet, as he untied the gag from her mouth. He went to work on her hands, as he was about to set her hands free he was flung back into a tree.

Before he could get off the tree chains wrapped around him, keeping him stuck to the tree, "Glad you can join us, Agnus" Mara says to smirking and giving him a wink. He angry fought against his restriction, he looked over at Aisha, "Aisha! Let me go and let's talk about this,"

"There's nothing to talk about..." she says not looking up from her book, Mara smiled viciously at Magnus.

"It's time sister!" Mara says looking eagerly, Aisha nods and look at Magnus one more time.

Mara grabs a dagger from her boot and start to cutting the linen clothe from the bodies. Magnus face grew sullen when he saw his children, Aisha put hand over her mouth to stop the sobbed. She shook her head and turn away, putting her hand over her heart trying to steady her breathing.

"Okay now that done..." she made her way towards the table and laid down her knife, " You got the ingredients?" Mara nodded her head.

Pulling out a bowel from her sack, Aisha started, "Okay, goat's eye..." Mara nodded, " Check.." squeezing the eye in the bowel.

"Lamb's heart...." Mara bleeding the heart into the bowel, "Check.."

"Flesh from the decease..." she threw pieces of flesh into the bowel, "Check.."

"Acontuim" after she put the plant in she starts grinding them together make this red milk substance, "Check.."

"Now our finally ingredient...human sacrifice.." Aisha and Mara look down at Audrey, "Check check check, " Mara smirk evilly.

"Aisha! This isn't you don't do this.." Magnus begged

"Please Aisha I'm sorry please I'm begging you don't do this..." Audrey cried, looking at Aisha with a tear stain face, " please your my best friend don't do this..."

Mara and Aisha rolled their eyes in unison, ignoring her pleas for help. Mara started pouring the substance in Cairo, Avery, Marcella, and twins mouth. Aisha looked up at the sky and saw the harvest moon shinning bright upon them.

"The moon is out, we start the sacrifice.." Aisha says to her sister, Audrey started sobbing, " please don't do this...wait! Please don't.." Aisha and Mara held their daggers upon her before they can finish this Magnus spoke up.

"What of her children..." he spoke, staring at his wife with pleading eyes, " what will happened to them hmm? If you do this you will make them orphans, do you want that on your conscience"

"They be better off.."

"How would you know?"

Aisha was going to respond, when she got cut off by her sister, " oh believe me lover boy, they are definitely better off without this trollop in the their life.." Mara says laughing.

"I mean, the things this girl did behind close doors..." she whistle, Magnus and Aisha looked at peeved at her, "You will make a great addition in hell sweetheart.." she says wolfish

Audrey looked alarm when she said the last part, " oh don't be surprise, I mean did you really think cheating, lying, killing, and child neglect was going to give you straight to heaven, " Mara giggled as she watch the crocodile tears come flowing down Audrey eyes.

Aisha looked at Magnus with deadpanned looked, " does that answer your question.." she brought her dagger over Audrey's heart when she was stopped once again, " wait-wait my-my baby my baby would you sink that low bumblebee" she shouted when Aisha's dagger landed in her leg.

"You not pregnant Addy, you never will be..." she looked into Audrey eyes as they looked surprised, " What? Did you really think I didn't know about the coneflower tea you been taking after Anais birth..." she twist her dagger causing Audrey to cry and pulled out.

"You know sister..." Mara looked up to Aisha, " why don't I just get her firm and ready for the underworld hmmm.." she says digging her knife into Audrey abdomen, Aisha looked at the moon then her sister and back at Audrey. " You got 6 mins.." she step around the table near sister, "make it count.." Mara smiled big and went to work.

As Audrey scream in agony, Aisha crouched down near Cairo and Avery looking at them fondly, she saw movement in the corner of her eye. She got up and sat on her knees on the side of Marienna, she heard her groan. Shocked she got closer looking behind her, Magnus had his eyes shut and her sister was leaning over Audrey.

"Hey hey hey Marcy baby..." she whispered rubbing her face with her hands gently, looking at her baby girl with love. Marienna opened her eyes and saw her mother looking at her, Aisha eyes tear up when she sees her daughter smile at her.

"Oh my baby!" She exclaimed kissing Marienna all over her face, "oh How I missed you I missed you so much, " she held her tightly, Marienna looked at her surroundings and saw her dad looking at her doleful.

"Mama?.." Marienna pulls back looking at her mother with a eyebrow raised. Aisha looked back at Magnus and sigh, "oh my baby, " she cried, kissing her forehead.

Aisha got up and went to get one of the many clothes she brought and gave it to Marcella, she help her put it on and helped her stand up.

"Ma who is that.." she motion her head to the Mara wiping off her blade on her dress, "... what's happening.." Marienna asked confused

"I tell you everything when your brothers and sister wake up, okay, " Aisha grabbed both of Marcella cheeks in her hands and smiled, she return the smiled and whispered, "okay..."

Marienna smiled drop and her face morph into one of pain, " baby what wrong!" Aisha ask worried, looking towards her sister answers, Mara look bewildered and shrugged.

"My stomach hurt..." Marienna says, she clenched her stomach and vomit blood, her chin and lips are covered in blood, "mama what's happening to me..."

Marienna groans falling to the ground in pain, hunched over she dug her hands into the ground.

Her bones start to break under her skin, she howled in pain as she looks at her father, " Papa make it stop please..." he watched as her eyes turned black and glowed purple.

"Mara get me outta these chains, " he shouted towards the stunned sister, she apply and wave her hand towards him.

He fell onto his feet and ran towards Marienna, whispered, " it's okay sweetheart, don't fight it just let out.." he kissed her forehead as she rocked her self back and forth.

Marienna howled, she moved away from her parents quickly. She stood to the side a good distance away from her mom and dad, leaning on one of the stones.

"Aisha we have to finish the ritual, " Mara says grabbing her arm gently, Magnus looked angry at Mara.

"Would you stop you don't need to continue the sacrifice anymore, "

"If you can't tell by now Agnus your other children aren't really walking and breathing are they...." she glared at him, Aisha rolled her eyes at their bickering and kept her attention on her daughter.

Aisha couldn't take it no more and turn to her husband and sister, " would you both shut the hell up, your scary her..." she yelled, pointing at her daughter. Marienna still in pained looked at her parents surprised.

As Marienna watched her mother talk some sense into her father and  long lost aunt. She couldn't ignore what Mara said earlier, she looked to the women on the table and saw her bloody and beaten.

She look at the group then at the women, a sudden urge to kill rush through her veins.

She walked towards the women as she kept glancing towards her family once in well to make sure their were is arguing. As she made to the women side, she saw it was Audrey her mother's best friend.

Marienna swallow the lump forming in her throat, she was about to grabbed the dagger laying near her head when her father spoke up, " marcie get away from her.." Audrey grabbed hold of Marienna wrist tightly.

"Please please help me untie me please..." Marienna hissed in pain as she saw through Audrey's mind, she snatched her wrist from her grasp, " this is your fault.." she snarled showing her fangs.

"I'm sorry I'm so so sorry I promise please I-" Marienna fuel by anger plunged her fangs into Audrey's neck, she was pulled off by Magnus. She for a moment struggled to get out of his hold, until she saw Audrey convulsing on the table.

Audrey nose and eyes started to bleed out, causing her scream in pain. After a minute Audrey laid still on table not moving, everybody watched in pure horror at what Marienna had done.

Marienna ripped herself from her father grip, he looked at her as if she was a stranger. Marcella tilted her head to the side looking at her siblings, she went towards the twins.

She bites into her wrist drawing blood and dripping drops into their mouth. She moved on to Avery and Cairo doing the same, then she waited.

Her Aisha and Magnus looked in shocked when they saw all their children started coughing and moaning. She ran towards her babies and held them tight, Magnus behind her fell to his knees being all them to in his arms in a family hug.

Marienna watched the scene in front of her, felt a ping of sadness. She walked away from the group and towards her aunt.

"So am I every going to experience that?" She asked nonchalantly pointing at her family embrace

"Depends..." she looked at her niece, " do you want to?.." she question.

"Are they going to end up being like me..." she asked still looking at her family.

"I don't know, " Mara answered staring at her, " it's hard to say, its up for the true ones to answer that..." she sighs looking at her sister.

"People like you and me walked the earth for a centuries, we can either cause mayhem or do nothing, I chose to raise a little hell here and there...." Mara smirked, Marienna smiled.

Marienna hummed, " let me ask you something...." Marcella looked at her auntie, " how did you know?"

Marienna looked at her for moment and spoke, " I saw it when she grabbed me..." she mumbled, " how can someone have so much, throw it away so easily.."

"That is what you called  greed my dear, its a nasty things  " Mara says walking away toward her sister.

Marienna watched as her mother introduced her aunt to her sibling, she looked away and walked towards the table and covered it with a near by tablecloth. She felt her mother behind her, " how you feeling bèbè?"

Marienna shrugged, " overwhelm I guess, wouldn't you be if you found out you killed someone.." she looked at her mother finally.

Aisha open and closed her mouth in shocked, " I may actually live for a long to see the world end, aren't I the lucky one " she says sarcastically.

Marienna walked away before her mother can get a word in, she walk through the forest to clear her head until she made it to her house. She went into her room and flopped down, staring at the ceiling.

She wonder what the future holds for her, she wonder if she ever find love and have children. She wonder if her existence would unbalanced the universe, she fell asleep thinking about the what ifs and the what nots.

It was nightfall when the boys made it back to the village. Well walking Magnus and the boys notice there wasn't a soul in sight. They stopped in their tracks, the boys looked at there surroundings well Magnus tried to listen. There heartbeats.

"That's a good sign," Magnus thought to make his way to his house having the boys following behind. He looked inside and didn't see Aisha and the kids.

"Where is everybody?" Cairo asked making his way out of the house with his brother and father following behind him.

"No idea," Magnus says waving his hands to tell his sons to follow him. They make their way towards the town square, nearing closer they saw banners around the square and tables scattered around.

When the boys stood in the middle near the well, sudden the candles were lit.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAI AND AVERY" shouted they, villagers, as they come out of hiding. The boys looked around in awe at the decoration and at their long time friends. Magnus looked around for his wife until he saw her with the help of one of her friends being out the cake for the boys.

Aisha and the girls sat the five-layer cake on the table in front of Cairo and Avery. Magnus made his way towards his wife and whispered, "You couldn't have warned me"

Aisha smiled and looked up at her husband gazing eyes, "What's the fun in that" she winks and turns towards the boys who were shaking hands and hugging their friends and neighbors.

"Okay time to blow out the candles and make a wish." Both boys closed their eyes and blow out their candles. Everybody cheered and clapped, Aisha, cut the left side of the cake and gave it to Cairo and then cut the right side of the cake to give it to Avery.

Both boys took a bite out of the piece of cake and their eyes widen and smiled wide, "Chocolate" "Vanilla" says Avery digging back in chocolate delight well Cairo was licking his spoon and plate clean.

Everybody gathered around and Aisha with the help of Magnus and her friends serve the people some cake and mead. Everybody started to spread out and enjoy their night, the boys lean against the wall, surrounded by their friends eating and talking. Music begins so did the dancing.

After an hour drunk people were singing and laughing. The kids were running and playing well their parents watch them as others talk to their neighbors. Soon enough mothers and fathers started gathering their children for bed. As was wives.

Aisha's friend Gwen help the young twins to bed well Aisha stood behind with the twins, Marcie, and, Magnus to clear the town square, " Okay we just finish this in the morning," Aisha says looking towards her family. They all nodded their head and was about to make there way back when.

"My My My...." says the mysterious man walking up to the group. He looks at the family one by one first Kai then Avery then Magnus. He stares at Marcella for a little while before turning his white eyes towards Aisha.

"What a cute little family you got here," the man said again walking little more toward them. Magnus grabbed Marcella's shoulder and put her behind him.

"Oh, My God...Gavin" Aisha walked up slowly towards him only a couple of feet between them, " In the flesh baby" he smirked winking at her, Magnus snarled eyes turning red.

Gavin looked towards Magnus with a smile and gave a little wave, " Hello Maggie long time no see. "

Magnus rolled his eyes at the nickname that was put upon by his rival, "Gavin." He deadpanned glaring at him.

Magnus looked towards his sons, "Boys why don't you take your sister home" the twins looked at the men and back at their parents and nodded, "Come on, M" Avery says grabbing her hand walking back with Cairo right behind them.

Marcella looked back at the stranger with curiosity, Gavin waved goodbye to her and she returned it.

When the kids were far away and out of ear shoot Aisha spoke again.

"Gavin.." Aisha says trying to bring his attention back to her,  "What are you doing here?–" She asked confused

"Better yet how did you find us?" Cutting his wife off, "Well Mags after you attacked and butcher my men back home. I just thought we should have a little talk, but when I got to your kingdom you two were nowhere to be found. So I-" he says walking towards a table near him and taking a seat on it.

"I'm gonna stop you right there. I didn't attack your men attack us and they rode into my territory where my pregnant mate and a small child was along with some of our villagers. " he says

Gavin stared at Magnus for a little before going back to what he was saying, " I asked around and someone finally told me that the Prince and his wife made their way somewhere around the Black Sea." He says putting his feet on the table.

"So we voyage until we stopped in Greece that was over  2 years ago and we came across this group of witch," he says smiling, which made Aisha for some reason uneasy.

"So I overheard these witches talking about a very powerful witch. Who killed her husband and his whore one night and fleeted. "

Aisha grins a little.

"So I ask around more and came up empty again until a friend of the mystery witch came heard I was looking for someone. She mentioned how another witch helped her friend get the spell she needed for immortality and told me where to find her. "

"So here I am," he says putting his hands up and looking at the both of them.

"Your eyes...How did they get like that?" Aisha asked wearily walking up to him and taking a seat across from him

"Gavin face turned grim, "Well still in Greece looking for you..." he looked Aisha in the eyes which sent chills down her spine, " I came across this werewolf, thinking he was part of your pack I intervened ."

"I distracted him long enough for the forks to get away and he lunges at me luckily was quicker than him. Got my weapon out and took his head clean off...." he said smirking

"When I was about to take it someplace else to get rid of it. Another came out catching me off guard and scratched my arm..." he says rolling up his sleeve for them to see the shading scar, Aisha gasps grabbing his arm to inspect it closely taking in the mark.

"What happened next?" Magnus asks feeling a little jealous at the sight in front of him.

"I killed him and burned the bodies then made my way back to my men and slept it off" Aisha looked up from his arm slowly watching his facial expression, " when I woke up the next morning I was covered in the blood of my men," he says glancing at Magnus then Aisha.

Aisha let go of Gavin's arm and looked at him with sadness, " Oh Gavin I'm so sorry..." she put her hand over her mouth.

"Don't worry I got my revenge" he smiled looking at her, Aisha looked taken back when she heard a screaming.

Magnus ran to the sound, Aisha was about to follow behind her husband until Gavin hand catch her wrist tightly. She hissed in pain and looked at him confused.

"Let's go somewhere private..." Aisha was about to say a spell when Gavin pulled her across the table putting his other hand around her mouth, "One word that comes out that pretty little mouth of yours....they all dead. Do you understand?" He said the last part in her ear, she nodded quickly  and he pulled his hand away from her.

He put up along with her and start pulling her towards the woods, " Gavin....please why are doing this.." she stumbled in the dark forest with Gavin pulling at her like a ragged doll.

He laugh as he kept pulling her deeper and deeper into the forest until they came to a clearing, he pushed Aisha to the nearest tree pinning her against it with his body.

"Why? Because I can...Because you made me this way" he looked into her brown eyes and before she can react, he bite into the side of her neck drawing whole lot of blood.

Aisha screamed in agony as she tried to shove Gavin away from her, she punched at his chest but to no avail. He finally let go of her and took a step back his mouth and chin covered in her blood.

She slide down the tree onto the ground feeling dizzy, she looked like she was on the verge of passing out. When Gavin scotched down in front of her and grabbed her cheeks.

"Now Now don't go passing out on me just yet. The fun hasn't even started. " he grin grabbing her ankle and dragging her into a laying position. Before he can have his way with her, Magnus grabbed him by a chock-hold and flung him against a tree.

Magnus came to Aisha side quick to check she was still alive. She had a pulse but barely, Magnus turned his attention back on Gavin who was shifting into his werewolf form. Magnus following suit.

Magnus and Gavin ran towards each other with full force. Both rolling around the ground biting and clawing at each other. Magnus was on his back his arms and leg pinned down by Gavin.

Gavin was raising his arms to go for a kill when his blood started to feel like it was on fire. Howling in pain Gavin started to back off of Magnus, rolling moving around the forest floor he turned back to human and glanced at Aisha as she whispered to herself.

Magnus (still in his wolf form) turned Gavin around facing him and grabbed his neck lifting him up him off the ground and then slamming him back down to the floor multiplied times. Magnus snarled throwing  Gavin across the cold forest floor, stalking his way toward Gavin.

Gavin started making this odd sound like laughing with a mixture of chocking on his own blood. Magnus hovered over him well he still laugh, he lunged for Gavin neck and ripped it out.

All the while Magnus was multilaterally Gavin body, Aisha sat on the ground with her eyes closed. She felt cold hand on her under her legs and back, she looked up at her husband carrying her back to the village.

When they reach the village there were bodies everywhere some she knew other she didn't. It look like a battlefield took place in their safe haven.

Magnus brought them back to their house sitting her down in the table, Magnus left to get some clothes and water. Aisha looked around the house still feeling dizzy from the bite and notice it was very quiet. Too quite.

She looked around the house and notice that Avery and Cairo doors were closed. For some reason Aisha found that odd, so she got up slowly and made her way to the boys door before she can put her hand in the knob. Magnus grabbed her hand gently and she looked at him oddly.

"Come sit down and let me have a look at that" he says pointing at her bite and trying to lead her away from the door.

"I want to check in the kids first.." she says trying to move Magnus out of her way, "Magnus. Move! Now" she used the little energy she had to cast a pain inflicted on him to move out of the way.

Groaning, "Aisha. Don't!" When she made it in the room her heart stopped and sudden her body went cold. Laying in their bed were their sweet children, Avery along with Marienna laid in bed with scratched marks on their left and right arms well Cairo had a bite mark on his left arm. Aisha looked turned around and bolted to the twins room to find them them in bed laid with their arms crossing. She moved closer and saw one bite on each of their arms.

Aisha backed out of the room and moved past Magnus who sat on the floor in his oldest door way. He watch as Aisha walked out of the house, she walked three steps before screaming  and collapsing on the ground holding herself as the earth quake under her feet. She cried and cursed until her voice was raw, Magnus just stared at her as she fell apart.

Aisha dug her hands into the soil of the earth and something in her snapped. She looked up toward the starry sky and back down to the dirt in her hands. She got and went into the house slamming the front door behind her and sat at the table.

"Where is everybody else's"

"I told them to make their way to the hideout near the river."

"How many did we lose" Magnus rubbed his face and looked towards his wife, " About 30 people maybe more. I can't tell their were a lot of limbs all over the place."

They didn't say nothing for a bit, "Did... did the die in pain?" She looked at her husband with blood shot eyes, "yes." he whispered head against the hard wood.

Aisha grimly looked around the house and saw her book near the stove, " We should...uh we should go get the others...and start planning the burials" he said getting up off the floor and walking to the door, Aisha kept staring at her book.

"Aisha did you hear me?"

"Yeah..yeah heard you...um do you think you can go alone I just... I just need a minute or two" Magnus walked up to his wife kissed her head and nodded

"Okay take as much time that you need Asa" walking back towards the door, Aisha stops him, "wait!..."

"Yeah?"

"Do you think you can not tell them about the children....not just yet I...I think we need some more time to grieve without being bothered y'know" she says looking at him

"Yeah... of coarse" he says walking out of the house, Aisha waited a few more minutes for grabbing her book and getting to work.
