“Lea get up.” Keira says trying to shake her awake.

“Five more minutes.” She mumbles, Keira shook her even more causing her to groan.

“Wake. The. Hell. Up.” She said each word as she hit Azalea with a pillow repeatedly. She sat up and snatched the pillow from Keira’s hand and hit her in the face.

She rubs her face trying to wake up, she glanced at Keira who was still holding her face.

She shook her head at her dramatic sister, she gets out of bed and looking out the big window.

“Where are we?” She asked as she saw someone pull up in the driveway.

“No idea,” Keira says standing next to her, they look around the room for shoes and made their way downstairs. As they descended the stairs they saw Niklaus and his sister Rebekah talking to two men.

The foursome looked towards Keira and Azalea, the girls stood awkwardly as they stare at them.

“You up, good. Breakfast is ready.” Klaus says to the girls, he turns to his sister.

“Rebekah mind showing our guest to the kitchen.” Rebekah rolled her eyes groaning and walked to the kitchen. The girls following shortly after, as they take a sit a the island. Rebekah went into the fridge to grab some blood bags, they watched in amusement as she drunk them.

“What?” Rebekah snapped at them making them go back to eating their breakfast. Niklaus walked into the kitchen getting handed a blood bag by Rebekah, as he finished draining the blood.

They all sit there in silence when another man they haven’t met before walked in, he stops in his track seeing the girls.

“Hello..” he greeted politely, the girls gave him a small smile, returning the gesture.

“Niklaus can I talk with you in the other room.” He says calmly watching his brother open another blood bag.

“Whatever you gonna say you can say it in front of our guest.” Niklaus grins at his brother. Elijah clenched his jaw and stare at the girls.

“Can you excuse us please.” Elijah says gently. Keira and Azalea looked at Klaus than Elijah, they nodded and left living Klaus,Rebekah, and Elijah alone.

Klaus rolls his eyes as they walked out, he lean off the island and start making his way towards the living room. Elijah and Rebekah follows behind.

“You mind telling me what’s going on here?” He speaks watched his brother make himself a drink. Klaus sat on the chair near the fire, as Rebekah flopped on the coach.

“Whatever do you mean brother?” Klaus says sarcastically taking a sip of his whiskey.

“Is not the time for games Niklaus. We have other things at foot, it’s not the time to play house. Get rid of them.” He says sternly. Klaus glanced at his brother then turn his attention back to the fire.

“Fine. If you won’t then I will.” He sigh before he can get anywhere near the stairs, Klaus sped towards Elijah blocking his way. Both glaring at each other, Rebekah pulled Elijah away from Klaus before the hybrid do something he regrets.

“Enough. Both of you.” She snaps keeping her hand on Elijah’s chest.

Both brothers glared at each other until Elijah saw Keira and Azalea make their way down the stairs. Klaus turns towards them in surprise.

“Listen, I don’t know what’s going on here. But we don’t want any part of this, just let us go and we promise we won’t tell Vienna anything.” Azalea pleads as she look towards Niklaus, no one can see it but Elijah’s eyes widen before his face became neutral again at the mention of his brother’s lover.

“You know I can’t do that,love.” Klaus says making his way back to the living room, the girls follow after him.

“We’re not your prisoners, you can’t keep us here forever.” Keira says

“Your right your not my prisoners. But until I get what I want you will stay here under my watchful eye.” Keira narrowed her eyes at Klaus’s words.

“...and what is that you want.” Azalea asked uncertain

“The cure.” Klaus says mildly

“The cure?” Azalea countered looking at him confused. Keira downcast,”The Cure? What does that sound so familiar.” She looked back up catching Klaus staring at her.

“I think you sister knows what I’m talking about.” Klaus smirked tilting his head to the side. Azalea frowned at Klaus as she looked to Keira for answers.

“Kay what’s he talking about?” Keira looked at her and shrugs.

“I don’t know.” She shrugged looking at Azalea.

“Keira.” Azalea says sternly. She crossed her arms, watching Keira frowned.

“I swear I have no idea what his talking about.” Azalea gave her a look making her roll her eyes.

“Lea I’m telling you the truth I don’t know what he’s talking about. But..” she looked to Klaus.

“...I know who probably do.” Klaus raised his eyebrows telling her to continue.

“...Vienna.” Klaus sat up on the coach, as Rebekah and Elijah glanced at each other at the mention of Vienna.

“How would Vienna know anything about the cure?” He said.

Keira shrugged,”No idea all I know is I felt like I heard it before even before the curse...”

“What is the last thing you remember about the Old World?” Elijah asked

“Nothing. I couldn’t remember anything before the year 1995.”

“The year you woke up.” Azalea says as Keira nodded.

“So, if you and sisters aren’t here for the cure than why are you here.” Rebekah asked confused.

Azalea and Keira glanced at each other.

“Back home there was an attack, someone used dark magic to compelled our brother Luka to harm our sisters, Elias and Anais. He sent us a message saying to come to Mystic Falls or we never see our family again....” Azalea started watching as Elijah stood next to the fire and Rebekah sat next across from Klaus.

“... At first we thought he took Elias and Anais but after we came home they were in coffins with a dagger in their chest.” Rebekah grimace at the mention of the dagger as Azalea kept talking.

“He-he ended up forcing Luka to poison himself... so that’s why we’re here.” Azalea stammered.

“Are they alright..” Everybody looked a Rebekah surprised.

“Yeah..yeah their alright. Can’t say the same for Cairo tho.” Keira says sadly.

“What happened to Kai?” Rebekah asked.

“He-he...uhhh..he died in his sleep. When the attack was happening.” Keira croaked.

Rebekah bite her lip,”...poor Avery, he must be devastated.” She mumbled. The Keira glanced at Azalea who looked heartbroken at the mention of her grandfather.

“Excuse me.” She sniffle in make her way out of the living room towards the kitchen.

The Mikaelson’s siblings looked towards Kiera confused.

“Avery died last year. She missed the funeral, and haven’t been good since...” Keira says dreary, Rebekah gasp at the new information. As Azalea make her way back in the room everybody looked towards her with pity.

“You okay?” Keira asked putting her hand on her shoulder. Azalea gave her a weary smile nodding.

Silence fill over them as they soaked in the new information.

Keira crossed her arms and started thinking about the predicament, and an idea came to mind. Azalea glanced at Keira and raised her eyebrow.

“I know that look, what are you thinking.” Azalea says knowingly.

“What if we cast a memory spell. If I can go back and see what happened to me and the others maybe we both get the answer we’re looking for...” Klaus and his siblings nodded their in agreement.

“So you guys know any powerful witches around here?” Azalea asked. Rebekah and Klaus looked at them weird.

“What?” The said unison.

“Aren’t you witches?” Rebekah asked.

“Well...I mean..we are- it just that..we don’t really know how to use our powers.” Keira says awkwardly. Klaus rolled his eyes and stood up.

“Alright...I'll be back within the hour for your witch in no time. Keep an eye on them if they anything like their sister they find a way to escape.” He whispered the last part to his brother.

“We heard that, and I thought you said we weren’t prisoners.” Azalea grumbled at Klaus as he grabs his jacket make his way towards the door.

“Your not but you can’t be too careful,Ladybird.” He yells back, slamming the door behind him.

Azalea made a face at Nicklaus nickname for her, she shook away the odd feeling as she and Keira sat where Klaus was moments ago.

“So...” Rebekah spoke up, catching the girls attention, ”... how do two witches related to the strongest witch of all time and not know how use their powers.”

“The same way a mother doesn’t like her kids to be outside after dark...” Keira sassed making Rebekah glare at her.

“...what she means to say is that, ever since we were kids. Vienna always protected us, she was the surrogate mother and sister no one knew they needed...” Azalea started shooting a glare at Keira before turning her attention back to Rebekah.

“...She didn’t want us practicing magic just yet. We were suppose to start the day after our annual dinner but y’know.” She mumbled the last part, Rebekah nodded in understanding of Azalea and Keira’s situation.

“Where is my manners, I didn’t introduce myself I’m Elijah. Klaus’s older brother.” Elijah went forward towards the girls and shook their hands.

“Hello Elijah, I’m Azalea and this is my sister Keira..”she smiled at him as he shook Keira’s hand next.

“I didn’t even know. Your mother had another child..”he replied

“She didn’t, Azalea is actually my great niece. When I first woke up physically I was 3 years old and around that time Azalea was the same age. So you can imagine calling her niece wasn’t really sitting right with us. “ Keira finished.

Elijah chuckled at Keira response as he took a sit next to Azalea. Not an minute went by when Klaus rushed backed in with a stranger. Everybody turned their attention towards him and the girl.

“Bunny?” Keira says confused as Azalea frowned at the girl name.

“Bunny? Really?” Rebekah giggled looking at Keira , then raising her eyebrow at Bonnie.

“Bonnie was my babysitter when I was a kid and I start calling her bunny because she always wear bunny ears back in middle school.” Keira explains smiling at the memory.

“I was going through a phrase back then...” she says awkwardly as the Mikaelsons looked at her in surprised.

“...anyways Kiera what are you doing here. Vienna been looking for you and her sister for two days...” she asked concern.

“Its a long story, I promise I explain it to you later but- wait did you just say missing for two days?” Keira stopped herself as she looked bug eyed at Bonnie as she nods.

Keira looked towards her sister to find her glaring at Klaus as he watch them.

“We been asleep for two days. Are you kidding me?!?” Azalea shouted as she start pacing.

“Y-yeah...Vienna threaten us to tell her where you were but when we told her we didn’t know she-she....” Bonnie shivered

“...she tried to attacked Elena but Damon got in the way and...” Bonnie sobs.

“...She snapped Damon’s neck, as if she was possessed, it was like she turned off her humanity.” Bonnie says scared.

Klaus stood near the fireplace smirking as he heard the young Bennett speak of his lovers’ action.

“That doesn’t sound like Vienna, she wouldn’t do that, would she?” Azalea asked as she looks towards Rebekah, the blonde looked away from the teen as if she wasn’t paying attention to what Bonnie had said.

“Rebekah?..” Azalea questioned again, the blonde women looked towards azalea with a eyebrow.

“What?” She says mildly.

“Would Vienna do something like that...” Azalea asked timidity

“I don’t know...” she shrugged. Azalea glared at her well, Elijah watch them.

“Who cares!” Klaus exclaimed finally speaking up as he sit his drink down and walk towards Bonnie and Keira.

“I didn’t bring you here to chit chat now did I, I brought you here because I need your little powers.” He spoke getting into Bonnie face, Keira made a face at Klaus, which he ignored still glaring down at the young Bennett.

Bonnie glanced between Keira and Klaus.

“Why should I ever help you after what you put me and my friends through?” Bonnie sneered at him.

Catching Bonnie off guard, Klaus slammed her against the wall by her throat growling in her face.

“Nicklaus!” Elijah shouted towards his brother in a warning tone. Keira and Azalea was by his side in seconds trying to get him off Bonnie.

“Klaus! Let go of her!” Keira yells as she tries pulling him off of Bonnie, the young Bennett start scratching at Klaus’s hands. Both Pierre sisters alarm start pulling and hitting harder on him.

“Rebekah! Help us! REBEKAH!”Rebekah stood still watching the scene unfold before her, Azalea moved to Klaus other side standing next to Kiera.

“Niklaus! Please stop it your killing her.” Azalea pleaded as the sisters try desperately to stop him. He look towards them only seeing fear in their eyes as tears fall down their cheeks,pulling away fast Klaus watches as the girls help Bonnie up and towards the coach.

He glare heatley at Bonnie coughing form, as Keira poured her a glass of water for Bonnie She and Azalea glanced back at Klaus for second before helping Bonnie once again.

“Now then, let’s try this again shall we...” he hissed

“...your gonna help me with a little spell..” he slammed a piece of paper on the table starling the sisters and Bonnie.

“...or I’m gonna kill ever last person in this town starting with your little friends, and that’s not a threat, that’s an unbreakable vow. Now, tell me what do you need for the spell.” He grits out.

Bonnie slowly slide the paper towards her and looked at the written on it. She furrowed her eyebrows confused but she knew questioning Klaus would be affectless.

“Can someone hand me a pen, please?” She says. Azalea grabs a pen from Elijah and gave it to Bonnie.

After Bonnie was finished, she looked towards Klaus, “If I do this would let us go?” Klaus nod.

“You have my undying word.” He says monotone, Bonnie hesitate before giving him the paper. He turn on his heels and make his way back out the door.

“One more thing, before I go...” He stopped at the door.

“If you warn any of your friends or even try to find a way to escape, the girls would not be here the next time to stop me from ripping your heart out from your chest...” he smirks as her eyes widen in fear.

“...what do you kids say these days...brb..” he winked and slammed the door shit living the girls on edge.

*Several hours later*

Vienna pulls up to the Fell's Church, she looks around the rundown church with caution.

The moon and her phone being her only source of light help her to the center of the church.

"Hello, lover." Katerina purred coming out of the dark.

"Katerina.." Vienna monotone, glancing at her as they circle each other. Katerina clenched her jaw.

"How long has it been? 17? 24 years?" She spoke, stopping a couple of feet away from Vienna.

"48. Now, what are you doing here." She deadpanned, leaning against the stone wall.

" Yes! The last time I saw you, you left me to die in an alleyway 48 years ago." She says bitterly ignoring Vienna's previous question, glaring heated at her.

"...time it can never be just right, can it?" Vienna rolled her eyes at her remarked.

"I'm losing my patient here.." She hissed.

"Sorry? I wasn't the one who invited you here. You did, so I don't have to tell you anything. "She smirked.

Vienna speeds towards Katerina holding her throat, keeping her pin against the stones.

"Okay. Let try this again you going to tell me what you doing here. Or I will gut you and hang you upside down with your intestines in the middle of town square for everyone to see. " she sneered.

Katerina wouldn't give in not until Vienna plunges her hand into her dead heart and started squeezing.

"If you kill me. Klaus would fuel his hatred onto you. You never have peace," she chocked, scratching at Vienna's hand.

"Then you better start talking..." she says, she squeezes harder, making Katerina cry out.

"I'm here for the moonstone to offer it to Klaus for my life back. Now please stop it hurts." Vienna ripped her hand from her chest and looking down at Katerina and scoffed.

"Are you out of your mind! If he gets his hands on that stone. We all die." Katerina flenched at Vienna's tone. Flashes of the past rushed through Katerina's mind when she heard Vienna. She pushed those through in the back of her head.

Vienna rubs her face in annoys," children. I'm dealing with whiney annoying children." She thought as she figures out, how to find the stone before Katerina.

"Leave.." Vienna says walking to her car. Confused Katrina followed her.

"You knew I can't do that Marcy." Vienna clashes her eyes, scaring Katrina into submission. She kept her head down when Vienna growled at her.

"Don't call me that...ever!" She sneered.

"..Now..get out of my sight before I do something I may not regret." She finished as she watches Katerina speed away.

Vienna sigh as she leans against her car, she closes her eyes and breathes.

Her eyes snap open at the sudden melody that came into her head. She shakes her head and got in the car. On her way home, she thought about the melody she hasn't heard in a well.

She got inside her house, grabbing a bottle of tequila and going upstairs. She gets her phone out to text Alaric about the information she got from Katerina. Message sent she got out of her clothes and took a well-needed shower.

When she got done and dressed, she turns the tv on and took a swing from her bottle. After hours of drinking and watching tv, she slowly feels to sleep with the bottle of tequila in her hand.

Marcella opens her eyes on her pouch, watching the kids across the street play. She took a sip of her beer. She leans back putting her sunglasses on, enjoying the nice sunny.

"Well. Well. Well..." the man said looking at Vienna with a smirk. Sitting up sudden Vienna's heart stop as she saw the man who supposes to be in a comatose slumber. She removed her glasses and looked at him.

"If it isn't Marcella Jean-Pierre." He purrs grinning devilishly.

"K-Klaus?" Vienna whimpered.

"Hello love," he smiled showing his teeth,"..did you miss me."

Vienna black vein appears on both of her forearms, her eyes glowed purple.

Klaus glowed his eyes back at her with a smile showing his fangs.

"Ah. Ah. Little lamb.." he waves his finger at her as she gets in an attacking stance," let's talk civilly hmm?" He asked.

"I rather spend the next century in a box in the Pacific Ocean, than talk to you." She hissed.

"Oh don't be like that, darling," he said with a fake pout.

She growled at him. Making him laugh. She narrowed her eyes at him as she kept her head high.

Vienna went for the attack but Klaus being a little faster pinned her between him and the column. Her hands in his pinned them to her side, he stare deep inside her eyes.

"Nice try-." Vienna head-butted Klaus making stumble back. She attacks him to the floor, putting his hands by his head.

"You got to be faster than that, old man.." she smiled down at him, Klaus grabs Vienna's thighs flipping them over so he was on top.

"That's fast enough for you?" He smirks down at her. They stare at each other. Klaus leaned in before he can get any closer, she facepalms him shoving off him to the side.

They both laid there staring at the roof. Klaus moves first taking a seat on the step as she laid there staring at his back.

"You know.." he started well Vienna moves to sit next to him. " I came here with a whole speech. On how I was going to come back and exact my revenge. For what you did..."

"Eh, it still early I have nothing else to do. I think you can still say your diabolical plans to me." She joked, Klaus chuckled he smiled towards her.

"Same old Marcella." He hummed

"Vienna." She says. He looked at her in question.

"I changed my name to Vienna, a well back," she explained. He nods his head.

"Do you hate me that much to go and change your name. " he huffed.

"No. Don't get me wrong I hate you with a passion. But I hate my parents more," she told him. One of the things they had in common, they both despise the people who made them who they are.

Vienna stares at him as he reached for her abandoned beer.

"Hey!" She exclaimed.

He smirks at her. He takes a quick sip. He makes a look of disgust when the beer hit his taste buds. He spits it out.

"Serves you right." She teased.

He pours the drink into the grass making Vienna gawk at him.

"You should really start expanding your drinking options, darling. Because this (hold bottle) ain't it." She couldn't help the giggle that came out. He smiled at her with triumph. She shook her head and bite her lips.

After all these years he can still make her smile like a star. He moved her hair out of her face and rubs her checks.

"What?." She says catching him staring at her.

"What? Can't I admire my gorgeous wife." He replies.

"Ex-wife." She said quickly wrapping her arms around her legs, resting her chin on her knees.

"I don't remember getting an official divorce. So technically we are still married?" He grins wolfish showing her his ring. She rolled her eyes, she always hated that damn grin.

Her thoughts were cut off when she realized that Klaus was still wearing his wedding ring.

"You still have it." She mutters. His eyes soften.

Klaus "Douchebag" Mikaelson. The most feared being in the world. Kept the ring she proposed to him with after all this time.

"I couldn't bring myself to throw it away," he said playing with it, he looks down.

".. but I can see you did." He scolded. She rolled her eyes.

"Think again." She says taking her chain necklace out to show him. He looked in awe at the golden brand ring with the emerald stone in the middle.

"..I couldn't bear to wear it on my finger, so I put it on my necklace..." she said looking at him.

Klaus put his hand on the back of her neck and kissed her. Vienna melted in the kiss and cling to him. He pulled away to Vienna dismay and rested his head on hers.

"Runaway with me." He said. Those words. Those same words that made them get married. The same words that torn them apart.

"Klaus.." she sighed, backing away from him. He looked forward and continued.

"We can live where ever you want. We can.." he gulps taking a minute." Start over.  " he said watching the kids across the street make their way home.

Vienna clenched her jaw. She balled her fist trying not to get let her emotion control her powers. She stood up, Klaus the following suit. She walked to her door, as she was about to slam it shut in Klaus's face. He put his hand on the door to stop it.

"I'm sorry..." he started. Vienna's eyes held hope that he was finally changed.

"But you gave me no choice. I had enough of the lying, and I thought you of all people would never lie to me. You were like everybody else. So I had to let everybody know not even my wife and my family will not go unpunished." Vienna bites her lip. Her heart broke. How can she possibly think that he changed? No amount of begging and assuring will never be enough for him to believe her.

"I hate you Niklaus.." she deadpanned, Klaus tightens his grip on the door. "One day you going to be alone. And I pray to be there to watch you suffer. " she continues.

He narrows his eyes at her when she comes closer. "I am done babysitting a child who won't grow up. I am so done waiting for you to change for the better. But you won't and you never will." He looked at her calmly.

He chuckled sinisterly, "Look who finally grew a backbone. Now that you got that out of your system. Why don't we kiss and makeup."

"I rather die." She says coldly.

"You wound me..." he says nonchalantly grinning.

"...Why don't we make a deal." He smirks.

"Not interested." She scolded.

"Not even if I said. I leave the people of mystic falls alone. Leave the witch and her friends alone." Klaus smiles when he saw the look on Vienna's face when he mentions the young Bennett. He could see the wheels turning in her head.

"How do I know you not just blowing smoke up my ass." She said. Klaus rolled his eyes at her words.

"Fine. I won't kill your little boyfriend either. Fair. " Vienna looks puzzled for a moment before she realized who Klaus is talking about.

"How did you-"

"Doesn't matter. So we got our selves a deal," he said quickly

Vienna looked at Klaus suspicious." Depends. What the deal is."

Klaus smiles, "Just you and me in the countryside of London. Living the life we should have continued living." He entwined his fingers with Vienna's. She wanted so badly to take the deal. To run away from it all. Have that simple life you always crave with the person you love.

"I even sweeten the pot. You can bring little Keira along with. We can be a little family again..." he says tenderly.

"What you say." He said hopefully.

"...no.," she said. Her throat tightens as she continued to speak. "I can't put myself through that again. I can't put Keira through that. I just can't. " Klaus looked devastated he knew you were going to say no. But hey it was worth a shot. Right.

He kissed her forehead, lingering for a well before moving towards her ear. "See you on the battlefield, my love. " he pulled away and walked away. He walked farther down the street until she couldn't see him anymore.

She collapsed on the ground crying leaning on the door. Her hand went to her necklace.

"I wanna wake up. I wanna wake up. I wanna wake up. " she muttered over and over as she felt like the air was getting taken away. She closed her eyes taking big deep breathe.

Vienna opens her eyes and looked around. She saw it was still fake outside. As she laid in bed thinking about what Klaus said. She wonders if she made the right choice.
