Scales are sensitive to pressure and to heat, but differently than their skin.

They are neutral on their tail. Like those who grab them randomly would get a look and a "Excuse me?". You know the one that telle you better stop what you're doing and apologize. A bit amused if it's a kid or someone altered (the drunk/drugged that don't really mean any harm). They let friends play with it.
