What classes do you consider canon for your WoL?

Finally finished all teh areas of Norvandt. Farming fate is over for me now :D Until I tackle the Endwalker area, but I'm taking break right now X)
Short bang, long hair, braided low. Long hair are common among his people, and a testament of skills. If you have long hair this mean you can afford to have something so easily grabbable. That's and vanity. Long hair are a form of status too, since you can afford to take care of it.
An adult with short or very short hair is not well viewed at all. Especially if it seem to have been shorn very short. This mean they did something, like cowardice, treatorous or criminal.
Children generally have shoulder length hair.
How does your WoL wear their hair?
Look wise, he changed his hair from the wild mane of before, to short bang and long braid. Due to the light corruption, his eyes aural ling shifted from gold to teal, and his hair tip are being tainted blue or green,o stead of the old red.
Personnality wise, he gained a lot of experience and is no longer the young adventurer who came to Eorza. He is calmer, more focused. Weirdly enough, he is even more stoïc than before, but with a lot less of being confused. He also has a better grasp of his curiosity, and less likely to accidentally offend someone with his question. To better choose who to ask, and to keep his own counsel the rest of the time.(Skin tone and miquo'te are touchy in Gridania)(He also learnt to not question too overtly question elementals)
While an accomplished lancer and archer when coming to Eorza, he's now know as fearsome warrior, samourai and ninja.
He learnt how to read eorzan common and garlemaldian along the way. And a few more forgotten langage, like void script, due to exposure with the scions.
How has your WoL changed from ARR to Endwalker? Personality, looks, etc?
The first time their Dad took them flying in his falcon. Raising on warm current, above even the mountains that cradled his village, seeing the sun and the horizon far ahead, realizing just how vast the world was. It's what fueled his travel since then.
Being woken up by his mother, after he fell asleep with flacon chick, playing in the village with other children, before they all broke into the falcon stable, and the adult falcon just seeing small human, and covering them with their wing like they would their chicks.
What are one of your WoL's treasured memories?
Raven is used to deal with Namazu. His people live in the Fanged crescent, and yes, there is Namazu over here. Not a lot, but they shared the streams and waters of some valleys with them. But the great fray is.. definitely something. The Xaelas and them made deserved neighbor. They can sort their things out without him now.
The Moogle are... Tiresome, but the workers of the mist are decent. Still. He's happy that things no longer really need his involvement.
Personnaly, he has more respect toward the fae. While they are mischievous, and somewhat dangerous, as sprite are, they are children. Once you kow the rules they live by, they are very straightforward. Also... A lot easier to work with weirdly. And what they are do deserve respect. They are not so dissimilar to ancestor spirit in a way. And howtofirget his lovely branch, and the king who remained.

Would your WoL rather deal with moogles, namazu, or pixies?
They do not and they do not.
It's very likely that he will father some with some gay clanmate, but he wouldn't be a father, more the godfather/uncle to these kids.
He certainly going to take an heir to train and teach later, but that still a decade of two out yet.
Does your WoL have children? Do they want any?
Full lvl on all gatherer and crafting job! I'm done! WIth that, I'm done! Every jobs maxed out. I'm so proud :D
With the amount of time he spent ourside and with chocobo, he generally smell slightly of sweat, dust, animals, and whatver vegetation is in his location. But when among civilization he smell of wood and lavender, from his wood work and his soap.

what does your wol/oc smell like?
is it a perfume or cologne? perhaps the lingering smells of a hobby or battle? perhaps a specific flower? or maybe they just really smell like that old bottle of midnight pomegranate body spray you got from bath and body works back in 2010?
Yes! They are a botanist, they learnt to gather herbs for the clan herbalist, and a woodworker. It started as more of an hobby, but they are now a recognized crafter. They work with leather a lot, thought it's not a job, and more knowing how to prepare the skin of the beast they kill. All of this is a side hustle, since they get into a lot of rare place, an dring back rare flaura and leather.
They also have just enough knowledge of sewing and metalworking to maintain their gears. His smith father will not have a son that is inept in this matter.

does your wol/oc have a canon crafting/gathering job?
we all have our combat classes, of course, but is there a particular crafting or gathering job they vibe with? is it a hobby or perhaps a source of income for them? was it something they picked up prior to msq? and, for some bonus points, is there one crafter/gatherer they just cant stand?
Not mine, but one of said weirdo I encountered in prae. A very graceful dancer who made me verify it was tea and not something else in my mug.
so far on my wanders around ffxiv blogs here I’ve found a bunch of pretty characters with very fine glams. Which is good and all but is anyone posting about their weirdo characters or tiger dads or what.
Raven first encountered them in Bozja. He wondered if they were to the miquo'te what the Kyojin were to the Sui-Raen. Then he was just happy to have another remace that was a decent size. No need to crane hos neck so much done. He don't really make the difference between Helion and Lost. Maybe a bit wary of Lost that were exiled, hailling frop clannic culture himself.

How does your WOL feel about Hrothgar? Do their interactions differ between Helion and Lost? Do they have a bias for or against one versus the other? What was their first impression of the race? How did that interaction go?
I forgot I managed to take a screenshot from this daily Frontline. Happened a few day ago, and I was very proud of myself, in addition to be lucky to have ended up with a good team in public frontline.
Corner with a drink, observing peopele, and occasionnally talking with people who walk around.... May also be the ones to drag people out of the room when they need some air too, or serve as something of security against creep.
Where is your WoL most likely to be hanging out during a house party?

On his side.... sometime on his front when he get the right pillow. He doesn't exactly have a lot of freedom to move around. Ripped up enough sheet and pillows with horns and tail. Funnily, his tail hang on the ground. It's an habit he got into to avoid ripping the sheet with hisbtail spike when cominh to Eorza, and he can't seem to get ride of it. And yes, people walked on his tail whne he shared room before.

In what way does your wol(oc) lay to fall asleep?
As an Raen au ra from a pretty isolotianist clans in the Fanged Crescent, he think the others country tend to over complicate matter.
His people who prefer to stay home rest atop their mountain and raise the Falcon mount. The ones who want to wander goes out in the world to sell things, explore and bring back thing. A young can be anything, you respect your elders, you don't understimate your women for they are more often the driving force and fierce in the couple. Also, everyone get trained to hunt and fight, those capable do the job. And coupling is so much sensible. Also, communal raising insure that no orphans are left alone. Honorable and martial tradition insure that they don't let idiot speak forever.
He found other races oddly soft, thought it can be endearing. Their scales is so much more useful to protect their skins. And the fleshy ears are slightly odd. Those of the miquo'te and Viera make more sense. But there may be something to make and female being somewhat of the same size. Certainly less of a pain in the neck.

What does your WoL think of their race, appearance-wise, and culturally/politically?
Raven do not have sibling. It is... not something talked a lot about. Being raised communally in the villages, he is the somewhat strange but cool older brother of the kids of his clan, and now the cool and heroic uncle.
His parents, and whole clan is still around. He can't go home or even send letters home often enough, what with the whole... scions thing, and also the difficulty of secrecy when surroundibg territory of his clan are under Garlemald thumb, but he does regularly encounter his clanmates who took mercenary or merchant path. They try to gather when they can, and everyone is aware of the others in their area. So when they pass through an area where other Starhunters are they go say hello. It's also a time to pass letters and money to send back home to the merchants.
Both of his parents are ex-Starhunter, having settled their wanderlust in their youth, and become Tsubasa when settlibg in the villge to start a family. His father was a itinirant blacksmith, and also have skill in leather working. He's quite handy with a blade, and a good hunter. His mother is better with a lance, and worked as a wandering peddler. She's now a seamstress. Both taught him at least the basic of their craft, so he could upkeep his gear and weapon.
Still trying to crawl my way back into XIV so here's a simple WoL/OC question - their families! What are they like? Do they have any siblings? Are their parents still around? Are they still in touch? Just anything really

If you want a real answer... black. But I'm regularly changing my limbal ring. Originally gold, then gradually white in shadowbribger, they are now teal, sometime green, sometimes blue.
So canonically gold -> white -> teal

Yes! Raven take what rest he can where he can. You can find him just sitting down somewhere, taking a nap for an hour or two, before going back to adventuring. That's said, he only sleep in big chunk when surrounded by allies or safe in his house, or trusted inns. Otherwise he get his 8h of sleep in multiple naps.
