And I could see Karlash actually trying to take care of her appareance, as a form of control over herself/her body and a sort of fuck you to her captors/master. Secondly... face wound or head injury arr fucking tricky to deal with, even more when alone. And seeing how she was treated when in Avernus, the type of wound who leave heavy scarring? She would be dead.

Isn't her birth name an important part of her character? Not so much the name than what it represent.

The use of her birth name is truly something I want to explore in a fic later on. What rapport she has to it, how does she use it and what she does with it. I think she would reclaim it. Bit by bit. Entrusted to those she care, somehing private. Try to incorporate what she could have been into what she's. Her whole story is about constructing herself. Reeinventing herself with what little she has. I think she would see Shadowheart as what she was made into, by life and experience, and her birthname as what she is, deep down. Her love for animals by example. Soemthing they couldn't break from birthname.

I don't know if my ramblibg is coherent, but names are important to Shadowheart story and evoke a lot of thing.

Maybe she would take another name, once all is done. Something all her own. Not a Sharran name, not a birthname of could have been, but a name chosen, of what is and will be.

Okay, need to rant! Just done the 4.2 archon quest. Legit shed tears. I did not like Furina persona, but holy shit.

Focalors is beautiful.

The Jp voice did a beautiful work on voice, with all three having a different feel. Actress Furina, true Furina and Focalors all have their style, and it's beautiful.

Furina suffered so much and yet. Fuck, until the very end she kept pushing.

The animation is great.

Truly the best archon quest yet, but fuck. It was so painful. We have the curse "May you live eternal" for a reason.

At start I was like fuck Focalors, your human half suffered, and then I realized what the damocles bladz was for and just... damn. Damn.

I'm goong to need a few days to digest this. This just is... painful.

Oh yes. From what my mate told me I visibly paled when reaching him and discovering geometry. I'm pant at math, but I'm even worse at geometry. This was... An experience. Also.... Why? Was the rotating arena bot enough of a challenge for spatially challenged people?
