Mmm, a green tea latte, some Bing Crosby, and a new toy! A nice evening, defintiely. Was inspired to buy this little guy after watching the newest episode of Skins (the good version). I think I already love Franky.

Lesson: do not leave off posting to this project for more than a day. Because then suddenly you might realize your camera's internal calendar is off by AN HOUR AND 7 MINUTES, and it might take you almost half an hour to sort out exactly what picture was taken on which day.

I just want to acknowledge first that, yes, this does suck. If I were to do it again, I would do quite a few things differently. BUT! I had fun doing it and I think I will do more of them. Next time, obviously, no flash... I almost went back and started over again when I saw how icky the lighting was, but I wanted to just go through with it as quickly as possible, before I lost my nerve.

I imagine this picture has been hanging in my bathroom about as long as I've lived here, but I only just really noticed it a couple of months ago. Still now, every time I notice it again, it startles me. Who chose it? Who put it there? Did I like it as a child, or was I just as oblivious to it's presence then?

Went around today, picking up a few essentials for my next project. Forgot the eggs, so I won't be able to start until some time tomorrow evening, which means I probably won't be finished until Wednesday. If the recipe is good, I'll pass it on.

Yesterday I did a stupid thing. Now I've a broken stove-top and no kettle. How will I make tea?

Clearly, clearly this means I should have an electric kettle. It may also mean I should not be left to my own devices...
