A moodboard I put together for my in-progress Love, Victor fanfic: Good Things Fall Apart

17/20 chapters are already up, and hopefully I’ll continue to update on a semi-regular basis! This is essentially my take on season 2 of the show as it will likely be some time before we get that :/ Good balance of angst and fluff with a major arc involving the reconciliation of spirituality and sexuality, so if that’s your jam check it out!!

[Other major elements include: Benji indoctrinating Victor with Lorde’s musical catalogue, gays at the beach, more discussion of cryptids than initially planned, and SO much found family loveliness.]

We were so impressed with the content for Steo Day and we thought it was important to keep these events going. You more than delivered. We still can’t believe how many contributions you guys created for this event. You really knocked it out of the park!

Venji Fic Fests: Winter Holidays 2020

For our second event, we’re celebrating everything festive for the winter!! Snowball fights, sledding, curling up by a fire, exchanging gifts, whatever your heart desires!!

Guidelines

Length: We suggest around a 1k words minimum, but it’s okay if your word count is lower.

Theme: While this is an open-ended event and anything holiday-related or winter themed will do, here’s also a list of prompts and ideas in case you want some inspiration or a starting point!

Ship: Though we’re called Venji Fic Fests, it’s allowed and encouraged to focus on other ships within the fandom as well. If you’d like, your fic need not include any Venji (or any ship) at all!

Submissions: In order to submit, first and foremost, post a fic and make sure you add it to this collection. Once your fic is posted, create a Tumblr post linking to it, and then share the link to that post in this Google form. That way, we can reblog your fic to this blog and keep everything in one place!

Deadline: The collection will close on Friday, January 1st.

Drawing his eyebrows together, Stiles’ gaze darts back and forth between the information laid out in front of him. There has to be something. An indicator. A common denominator. A possible pattern. Something the others don’t share. It can’t be nothing. It can’t be. There’s always something. What made Theo survive? What did he have that others don’t have? It can’t be the heart. Unless it’s his sister’s heart. Would that make a difference? Would that – he grabs Theo’s file and nudges his thumb against the bottom of the page. This looks like someone has written something on the page above it, but then scratched it out. 

With narrow eyes, Stiles shifts the file a little in the dim light of the desk lamp. Is that a question mark at the end? He can’t decipher this bullshit. Come on. What the fuck is that? He raises the file closer to his face. As if that would help. Fuck this. Stiles drops the file again. Pen and paper. Pen and paper. The office was left in a rush. Even Jonathan Raeken’s files have been left behind. That means there has to be pen and paper somewhere around here. 

Desk drawers. 

Stiles grabs the first one and yanks it open. Or rather, he tries to. 

“What the hell?” He pulls at the drawer again, but it doesn’t move. It’s the middle of the fucking night. If this thing is stuck – huffing out a breath, Stiles crouches down. It’s not stuck. He brushes his thumb over a small silver lock. Who the hell locks his desk drawers when they’re not a fucking movie villain? Stiles doubts there is going to be a key anywhere around here. If anything, the key is what Theo’s dad will have taken with him. 

Or hidden really well.
