Firework

I felt broken, every part of me, felt shattered and dead. But there’s this burning ember, inside of my cold heart, keeping me alive.  And I’m sick and tired of everyone telling me how worthless I am. So I’m stopping it. I can’t feel anything, but not for long. I’m changing, everyday. I’m finally breaking free from this hell. Breaking out of the chains you so happily put me in. I’m changing, and you can’t see me being reborn right in front of your eyes. But I don’t care, not anymore. I’m living for me, really living. Finally becoming who I want to be, and not what you’ve made me.  I’m starting over. I’m gonna let myself, Dance, Scream, Laugh, Love, Live! Because I’m a shooting star you can’t catch… A Firework you can only stare in awe at.
