Ok so I know its hard to read so this is my idea for this kind of... au I guess? *ahem* 'Zonai were a race of super powerful alicorns and Hylians used to be unicorns. The royal family of Hyrule is still alicorns, but they are not born that way, and are much less powerful. (Zelda got hers when she got her powers in BOTW) The unicorn was slowly bred out, for lack of a better term, of Hylians and they became earth ponies. The Rito are pegasi, obvi, and the Zora look, I guess like weird fish-dog thingies? Anyway, Link gets a horn from Rauru instead of an arm for the magical powers.( what would the powers be named in pony-speak i wonder? Ultrahoof would be pretty funny.)
