you’re the first human to see talokan and to namor, you might be the last… there’s a certainty to his love that has no doubts.

WARNINGS: black panther spoilers just in case, a bit of angst, major fluff, im not entirely sure if the details in cultural reference are correct so forgive me, also this is my first fic for namor be fucking polite

He’s the first thing you see. The first thing you breathe. Namor sits beside you on the canopy with a bowl of steamed broth. There’s a certainty in his eyes that you can recognize from anywhere, an emotion you’ve experienced.

The hairs on your body stand just as you sit up, meeting the god to his level from where he sits. Namor doesn’t budge, nor does he move a muscle as his eyes trail over your features. Something stirs inside of you and the gears churn in his.

The shell bracelet he gifted you years back rattles with the movement and it might’ve been the only sound you hear if it weren’t for the soft trickle of the water echoing in the cave. His people serve him well just as they place a bowl of picked fruits to your table, an offering of some sort from both your lover and his kind.

“Drink,” he tells you. “It will help with the cold.”

He didn’t tell you it’d be this cold into his home but perhaps it was a naive choice to think of him that way. Namor had always been protective of his home, his nature, and most certainly his people. There was no question in the latter, regardless of your relationship with him.

You accept his offer and he watches as your body relaxes at the taste. There’s a softness in his gaze when you finish, a look of adoration that one could only describe as love.

“You didn’t warn me about the cold,” you say. You hand back the bowl but his hand captures your own into his. The contrast of his skin makes you melt a little closer to his body, like a rock to a magnetic, you don’t resist.

He smiles, flashing those porcelain as a chuckle fills the cave. “For a reason, mi amor.” Namor adjusts himself to join you on the canopy and all sort of resolution resolves with him.

“I suppose.” Your body leans against him with a purpose. “I know this isn’t your home yet but it’s still quite beautiful.”

He drags your gaze up with a finger to your chin. His eyes pierces a look into his soul and you think of the very first time you had fallen for him back to the Peninsula.

“My home is wherever my people are,” he draws your eyes to where his people stand. They there to guard him, nonetheless loyal and private of their presence, but the beauty of it all makes you nearly envious of the fact that you’re unable to join him.

Though despite the efforts that the two of you make, there’s an urge that grows the tension between you and Namor. He wants to give you his world, but only he could give so much.

“And,” he turns to you, breath warm against your lips, “I want you to join me.”

You grow warm with his presence. “Join you?”

“By my side,” he states. His lips brushes against your own in a momentary adverse of judgment, only for him to pull back when the realization of his people settles in.

“A Queen to me, to my people, to Talokan.”

“You are sent by your father, the owner of the company, to represent this proposal which involves merging these two companies together. “, sitting facing him, barricaded by his sleek office desk and listening to him repeating my proposal. His intense gaze piercing through my soul. “And once the companies have been united, he will retire and you will be the successor, correct?” repeating the proposal while cocking his to the side. However, I sensed a but...

“Allow me to include my additional proposal before sealing the deal” he proceeded to rise from his chair, walked towards me as if a predator stalking its prey, turned my chair to face him. Still remained sitting, he crouched to my level, caged me with both of his palms resting upon the armrest of my chair and leaned towards me. My heartbeat quickened at the close proximity, intoxicated by his scent. A mixed of leather, oakwood and tobacco.

“What does it take to seal the deal?”, I questioned. 

“You”

“A king will need his queen by his side to help him rule his empire. I want you to be my partner, both in the office and personal life. How does that sound, amor?”, tilting my chin up, proceeded to caress my jaw with his knuckle and his warm brown orbs boring into mine.

“Marry me, be my wife and let us rule this empire together. Side by side, for I have long an equally compelling queen to reign by my side.”

Thanks for doing the mood board for me, I truly appreciate it! So my idea is that reader chan is the youngest member of the royal fam who was blessed by the Wind goddess with some gorgeous wings which allow her to fly ofc but along with that gift came a prophecy that they were destined to be together yet both of them will engage in their conflict

oooo, this is such a refreshing idea! if you don't mind me asking, does the reader's wings look like pixie wings ? When i first read your idea, the reader somehow resemble a wind nymph or fairy ( at least in my head). Does the reader chan posses other odd or mutant-like physical features other than a pair wings, such as pointy ears ? Correct me if i'm wrong 😊😅

Shuri : Princess of Wakanda  Aesthetic Board

Hey everyoneeee!! I’m back with another character aesthetic board, I’ve done a few for namor, shuri and okoye/ dora milaje. I was debating with myself whether i should post namor x siren! reader or this one, but ended up with this one because the colour palette is quite similar to the first one, slightly turquoise/ greenish blue. I may be biased but i personally think they are *chef kisses* and I can not wait to show you all. 

All in all, let’s enjoy this one ! I really enjoy making this one, because purple happens to be my favourite colour after teal blue.

It has been 3 weeks after watching Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and that scene... THAT SCENE y’allllll it still stuck and kept replaying at the back of my mind whenever I listen to Con La Brisa..... before y’all come shittin’ on me, here me out, it’s not everyday a king of an underwater empire shows you his hidden empire when they just met likeee...who knew the antagonist can be such a romantic at heart if their situation were to be put upon different context, i.e: no conflict or such. Then he proceeds to kill the her mom and shit just escalates to hell and ruins the vibe. But thank god it didn’t happen though, or else it’d be very odd. 

Brb lemme just replace Shuri’s position with myself.. lol

Is it weird that I find men’s perfume/ cologne/ scent to be very comforting? LIke i prefer men over women’s scent and it can ease my anxiety whenever i am feeling agitated. GORL WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?
