If Astarion offends his Consort. The worst torture for him: silence. Though he himself had commanded it.

His Consort lies down like the dead and lies for hours without moving, with her eyes closed. Astarion can grab her, shake her. Even tickling, it worked, but not for long and not for real. The lack of reaction, at least anger at him, is simply unbearable. Astarion slams the door, venting his temper on anyone who comes to hand. His consort worries as if he hadn't offended someone important, in this mood... But he's hurt her too much. After a couple more hours, Astarion returns to see her in the same spot on the bed and sighs deeply. He seems to have brought some gifts, praises them, in an effort to attract interest, it turns out the new merchants from Calimport had come to see the rebuilt city and find their place to sell. But there is no reaction. Astarion doesn't hold back again, never again. He grabs her legs and turns her around to face him, climbing on top. He hasn't seen her eyes in half a day — it's a torture.

— Look at me.

He heard her sigh. It brought him relief for the first time in half a day - not a sound from her — it's a torture. No one tortures him, never again, how dare... Here are, her red eyes for him. She looked at him incredibly calm, pure. His consort perhaps wanted to look resentful, reproachful, but… She could feel the lava of his alive blood boiling. His temper. So they would fight even more.

Astarion wasn't so guilty as to make him realize what was wrong. It would be unbearable for him. That could be explained later, after time had passed. He's probably already realized it himself, arrogant to admit it. A bit now...

— My Lord didn't like the silence? I'm sorry. Did you bring gifts? Thanks, yet not goods from Calimport is most precious gift for me, is that you cared about our fight. It won't go away at the snap of a finger, but it'll be okay, Astarion, you apologized, though totally cranky, — his hand was near and she touched gently. — Now, we can see what kind of goods you've chosen.

3. Lord Astarion likes to bite his Consort a bit in public, most often not to the point of blood. A little nibble. Ears, neck, arms. The trend of this is impossible to trace and fit into an algorithm. Walking through the gardens of the upper city, dancing at a ball, choosing goods from merchants and he's: AUGH *bites*. I'm back with artwork of another character from BG3 - this game has a chokehold on my life, I stg. I leaned into Ascended Astarion here for the aesthetic and vibes (this is my favourite jacket in the entire game) - but I very much respect and admire all nuances of this character and his journey throughout the game. I know people are deeply passionate about him and his story, so I hope I was able to do at least one facet of this remarkable character justice.
