Last post on kim seonho's goofy ass but I just love how whenever a celebrity is outed for doing something horrible everybody rants and raves about cancel culture and will try to decipher and pick apart the victims statement and life in order to make said celeb look innocent. Its nasty but also shows that cancel culture is not as prevalent as yall make it seem.

The amount of horrible men in the industry who disappear for a few months and then bounce right back is astronomical. If we wanna talk about "cancel culture" the main person being harassed and doxxed is his ex girlfriend so give me a damn break about how hes an insanely talented person who won't get another chance because of cancel culture.

Also.....the only facts we know is the statement shes given and the fact that he apologized and didnt dispel any of what she said. That's ALL we know, everything else is fiction yall decided to write in order to frame his innocence.

It’s so convenient to the Sex Ed fandom that they decided the budding relationship which should ultimately remain platonic is the one with two dark skinned people, one of whom is plus sized 👀 I mean seriously Viv literally said “Guys like you never see girls like me” in reference to Jackson’s freaking EX and you’re telling me they’re not trying to plant a relationship. I once heard someone say there’s two kinds of respect. Respect as a person which should be given to everyone, and respect as an authority which must be earned. The problem is a lot of parents interchange the two, saying “If you don’t treat me as an authority, I won’t treat you as a person”

this one liberal dude on twitter made the (correct) take that parents have overwhelming power over their kids and very often abuse it and restrict children’s rights and he was ratio’d by conservatives, communists and liberals alike who made comments like “my kids will have rights when they pay the bills” to “aw are you upset mom and dad didn’t you get you a lega set for christmas”. way to prove his point lol! any criticism of the power dynamics adults and particularly parents have over kids and how it is often used to abuse kids or refuse to let them exist as themselves is drowned in mockery and the idea that parents have absolute authority over children and that any less than that is actually spoiling them.

i said it before: people only care about Children as an ideal. as property. as something that is Innocent and deserving protection From Evil Traffickers but also something Dumb that barely deserves the status of human with autonomy. and its fucking wild how even the staunchest communists think of this as normal, and how people refuse to understand that this dynamic is how kids are emotionally, physically and sexually abused, as well as robbed of their voices and too scared/ashamed to talk about it.

I’ve heard complaints about how criticizing the reveal trivializes Du Shik’s trauma. Tbh I see that but my frustration doesn’t lie in Du Shik blaming himself. Survivor’s guilt is a very real and upsetting issue.
