I try to console myself by thinking: Well, those of us who write fanfics will finally hold up a part of the fandom. But why did it have to be this way? 💔 #SaveTheAcolyte

Surprise!!!

I actually haven't gotten over them yet. :D
I miss my girls!🧡🤍
I've never seen a fandom destroy and sabotage its own media so hatefully before, it just makes you sad at this point, I'm really gonna miss these characters and this story and what could've been
No one is going to silence me
No, Star Wars The Acolyte wasn’t perfect, and it’s not the best of Star Wars. In fact, nothing in this franchise has been perfect, not even The Mandalorian (I’ve just thrown three scorpions at myself, but oh well).
The Acolyte was like breathing fresh air after YEARS of repetitive content focused on: The Empire, Skywalker family, Rebellion, and that’s it.
The Acolyte was a series that reignited a spark and charm in people who had distanced themselves a bit—or a lot—from SW due to the toxicity or simply because they no longer connected with the new content.
The Acolyte made MANY women interested in Star Wars thanks to the fact that it was made and written by a woman who KNOWS what we really like, and that’s why it delivered a tremendous Female Gaze.
The Acolyte DOES deserve or deserved a second season. But as always, they’ve shown what their priorities are: to continually cater to the toxic crowd and the 40+ men who want to keep living in nostalgia and are stuck in The Empire Strikes Back."

goodbye goodbye goodbye you were bigger than the whole sky 💔

this is stinger! (I named him that because he reminded me of bees, maybe it's just the yellow idk)
he took up the last of my stuffing and I had to get a pack of buttons just for this project but he's so worth it
hes so cute and I love him more every minute!

Star Wars Tooka Doll Crochet Pattern
So about a year or so ago I decided I wanted to try making one of the little monster/cat dolls that seem to be the most common childrens toy in the Galaxy Far Far away, but I couldn't find a pattern anywhere. So I decided to create my own. After a trial and error creation and revision process, resulting in three sorta good dolls and one perfected by quarantine creativity I figured I should share the pattern!
Tools:
-4.0mm or 4.25mm crochet hook
-2 colors of medium weight yarn (mine says gauge 4, with recommended 5.0mm hook)
-Toy stuffing
-Two buttons
-Needle (must fit through button hole, and have opening big enough to thread yarn)
Step 1-Body
Rnd 1: Color 1: chain 41 + slip stitch to chain 1 to make a circle about 6in circumference
Rnd 2: Chain 1, single crochet 40, slip stitch to chain 1
Rnds 3-28: Repeat Rnd 2 26x
Step 2- Ears
(From the slip stitch of Rnd 28)
Ear A
Rnd 1a: Color 1: chain 1, slip stitch in stitches 1-20, ss to ch 1
Rnd 2/3: Ch 1, sc in 1-20, ss to ch 1- repeat
Rnd 3/4: Color 2: repeat Rnd 2/3
Rnd 5/6: Color 1: repeat Rnd 2/3
Rnd 7/8: Color 2: ch 1, sc 18, ss to ch 1
Rnd 9/10: Color 1: ch 1, sc 16, ss to ch 1
Rnd 11/12: Color 2: ch 1, sc 14, ss to ch 1
Rnd 13: ch 1, sc 10, ss to ch 1
Rnd 14: ch 1, sc 8, ss to ch 1
Stitch Rnd 14 closed (3 stitches should work) tie off and pull string inside.
Ear B
Rnd 1b: ch 1, ss in 21-40, ss to ch 1
Rnd 2-14: Repeat as above
Sew on button eyes at Rnd 24, (approximately) stitches 16 and 24 of body using either color
Stuff ears and body

Step 3: Legs (x2)
Rnd 1: Color 2: ch 21 + ss to ch 1
Rnd 2-4: Ch 1, sc 20, ss to ch 1
Rnd 5/6: Ch 1, sc 18, ss to ch 1
Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc 16, ss to ch 1
Rnd 8: Ch 1, sc 14, ss to ch 1
Rnd 9: Ch 1, sc 12, ss to ch 1
Rnd 10: Ch 1, sc 6, ss to ch 1
Stitch Rnd 10 closed, stuff, stitch Rnd 1 of legs to Rnd 1 of body (sew stitch by stitch so they mirror the ears)
Step 4: Arms (x2)
Rnd 1: Color 1: ch 21, ss to ch 1
Rnd 2/3: Ch 1, sc 20, ss to ch 1
Rnd 4/5: Color 2: ch 1, sc 20, ss to ch 1
Rnd 6/7: ch 1, sc 16, ss to ch 1
Rnd 8: ch 1, sc 12, ss to ch 1
Rnd 9: ch 1, sc 8, as to ch 1
Stitch Rnd 9 closed, stuff and stitch Rnd 1 to sides about 3/4 of the way up

DONE!
